I'm a little confused on what December 18th is? I've heard about it and I know some pets get rereleased but I don't know how or what really happens during it. Can someone give me a rundown? Ty in advance!

What happens on December 18th? What is the "re-release"? What are "UR" pets?
On December 18th every year, each user may adopt three pets out of a special box during the Advent Calendar/Christmas event. This box contains every pet ever released on the site, excluding store pets. Because old pets are being "re-released," it is often called the "re-release box." The box also contains at least one new, never-before-seen pet that is very rare. These pets, typically known as URs or "Unreleased" pets, are only released through the 18th of December re-release and are not available any other day of the year.

Y’all the 18th is coming up so fast and I’m starting to get nervous! I’ve NEVER had good luck and I’ve been playing since 2010! Every year I get super disappointed watching everyone raise their sun/moonpups so I’m really hoping I finally get something good. Anyone else in the same boat??

Y’all the 18th is coming up so fast and I’m starting to get nervous! I’ve NEVER had good luck and I’ve been playing since 2010! Every year I get super disappointed watching everyone raise their sun/moonpups so I’m really hoping I finally get something good. Anyone else in the same boat??

The only good thing I ever got was the UR bwolf. It was on my first December 18th and I ended up getting ninja'd a couple days later. But a quitting user gifted me theirs two years later and now I have another one with the same adoption date ^^
One year I got two rats. That was hard as I'm not the biggest fan of their lineart. Luckily I traded with a rat collector and got a dog for one of them.

The best pet I ever got on Dec. 18th was a sorbet pup. I think that was back in like...2016? Other than that, it's just been a bit lackluster. I mean I'm grateful for the opportunity of course, just can't help but feel a bit bummed when I see other people with heaps more luck than me. ;u;" I think that sorb was the only ex-list pet I've ever gotten too, the second best was an August PPS lion (which I still have).

The thing about Dec 18th for me is that I have been on this website so long that unless it's a 2008/early 2009 pet I probably already have it x_x now a days I just hope I get a pet not already in my collection. That also tells you I very rarely get anything special because I am not swimming in URs or OMGSRs over here lol.

I remember my first year I got the UR strawberry and people were going crazy for it 0.0 kinda wish I still had it now that I’ve come back from quitting as it could have really helped me getting back into tod swing of things XD. But I hope I get something good this go around

I feel that, I have 1 OMGSR, and I honestly don't think I realised until the next year. I usually get a rat and a pony :'} all these younguns with pages of omgsr's, I'm like.....How?!

its honestly hard not to be cynical and jaded about it after this long. i feel so bad saying that bc it's such a great opportunity to get rare pets, but it just never works out for me ;A;
here's hoping that changes this year--i'm ready for some good luck!
