2019 Summer Event: Casual Chat

A clear black sky dotted with small stars hung over the village, the candles that flickered in the windowsills of each house being blown by the homeowners one by one. Karlman had gave an uneasy glare outside of his window, looking for any pesky trespassers that wished to attempt their entry on his barn and damage the door. After a few minutes he only grumbled to himself before slamming closed his curtains and blowing out his candle. All at once, at least a thousand Chicken-Smoothians emerged from behind the rock that had been glowing in the crystal moon, naruto-running towards the barn silently across the green grass. As they approached, Jurassic, who had been leading the raid along with her trusted brother Bucky, had held herself close to the doors, beginning to put all of her weight onto the red, damaged barn door. All at once, the thousand players shoved themselves next to the door, letting out soft grunts and mumbles as they applied their pressure, not wishing to awake Karlmann and get busted like the night before. Suddenly, the door-hinges had popped out, the large, thin structure began to instantly fall before players on either side of the raid had pulled themselves forward and grabbed at the edges of the door, pulling it up as more CSmoothians had piled next to them to stop the door from falling and awaking Karlmann. As each player began to wrap their fingers around the door and slowly back up to haul it away from the barn, strange creatures began to flood out. They had been the size of bears, and were very skinny in the pale moonlight and pitch black, long tails and tall wings as well as horns had been formed on their figures. Their arms and legs had been lanky and thin, and dangled under them as they flew away. Loud and ear-piecing screeches had come from their throats as they danced off into the sky, bumping into each other and occasionally lowering themselves. The CSmoothians heads instantly moved forward, watching these strange creatures till they were out of sight, muttering things to themselves and a few of them even running off into the woods out of fear. Jurassic and Bucky stared forward into the sky, "What was it?" Bucky asked. "I thought they were gone for good."

Oh my gosh! ITS HERE!!!!!! I thought it would be canceled or something! Love the town so far! And horses are super cool!

My guess is this will be a magic event. But it mught be halloween monster world!! We already have some magic references with crystal ball and fairyy circle!

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE TUDOR HOUSES, GOD!!! I LOVE THEM.

1. Theory: Avian and Totoro were backpacking through Europe, more specifically, England. Tudor houses originated from Europe but are more common in countries like England. Personally, they’re my favorite type of home due to their unique architecture.

2. BONUS: I suspect that this event is going to involve fairies and other fantastical creatures. I say this because there’s a mushroom circle outside of town. Mushroom circles are often associated with fairies. The staff who create the events are always very purposeful with their “decorum.”

I know right?? I made a comment about this right away. At first the combo of Tudor houses and the fairy circle (very common in Irish folklore) made me sure this was a British inspired event, but the names of the NPCs have me thinking it's more broadly European. Either way, I'm in love.
