ok i rly have to say that camping is boring. sry but way too many ppl are saying camping. even if you like it irl you have to admit that *visually* its just not cool. and this theme will inform what the pets look like. so. just gotta say im against camping

im always up for steampunk. and i agree that the staff has the ability to do something based on a specific culture in a respectful way, so one of those sounds kind of fun too. no idea what my choice would be, probably somewhere i know nothing about actually! learning is fun.

I agree with this; "camping" may be a fun activity you want to do in real life but for a browser game, its not the most exciting theme to have. Especially since we already had a camping event in 2019, when we were camping in the woods and fairies began to appear. So that also makes the "cryptid" idea also repeating, we've already had that. Yes we did not have specific pets people think are associated with it, like s'mores hamsters and woodland cryptids - but that doesnt mean we need to get a repetetive event just to bring those few additions in... and we already had many, many pets fitting to the "camping" theme. We had a wide assortment of woodland critters released over the years. There's really very little "unique" stuff left that can be done to fit "camping" - most things have already been released before one way or another.

So Im also against camping. Something fresh and unique would be far more fun than brining in a few more pets fitting to previous events.

Agreeing here. Seeing that we already got woodland stuff, camping would be kind of repetitive. Camping/cryptids seems to be the most popular choice but I’m really hoping we see something else. I also just really don’t want to do the cryptids theme. As I said before, I feel like that’s going into a Halloween theme and we already get that every year. The Wild West/cowboys theme sounds fun! Or the garden. If we’re gonna do “camping” I think we need to do a very specific kind of camp. Someone earlier suggested a “science camp” and I could definitely see that being fun. Even then, we don’t have to do the camp part, just the science part would be great!

I would personally love an even with cryptids, the problem is a lot of them have cultural ties, so I think they're best avoided.

My dream would be time travel! It would be so cool to have historical pets, like a cat with a cool 70s floral pattern. Or a dog with giant Marie Antoinette hair. Or a rat with a beaded flapper dress pattern. Or a horse with a bright geometric 80s print. You could even do some futuristic pets, like a deer with circuits for antlers. Items based on historical fashions would be fun too, like a 50s pompadour wig, or bustled Victorian dresses.

A "focusing" idea: Movie Factory tour!

That can incorporate all Steampunk, Superheroic, Wild West, and even more various themes into one, as different movies being filmed plus added to that the various props that can be used in the movies, makeup sets, sound and video tech, and so forth!
Even cryptids can be incorporated, as monsters playing in a horror movie being filmed.
Historical theme can also be included, Victorian, Ancient Rome, Greece, Japanese - all these can be found on a facility filming movies about them.
Science theme can be put in as well as a filming of educational show.

All the most popular themes could be represented at once! (well, except "camping" because its already been an event)

^^^ i don't have much else to add but right off the bat i second this!! a historical event would be super cool, also rather informative depending on how it's approached. my only concern is that it might end up being a little to white/western-centric, so maybe it won't be ideal...? something like this would definitely need a lot of care and research put into it i reckon.

Just like the Egypt event we had in 2014, I would love to explore another real place but with a fantasy twist, I would love for Avian and Totoro to visit Ancient Greece, and meet Greek mythological creatures and possibly Gods and Godesses? Columns and gardens, art, legends and myths come to life!

I think a time travel theme would be a perfect way to incorporate many of the other suggested themes (like scene/emo, ancient mythology, 70s/80s/90s)

I don't have a specific theme in mind currently, but I'd love if we had another more story focused Summer Event, the one I vividly remember being more story driven is the Ancient Egypt, so it'd be nice for it to occur again, as the other years have felt lower stakes.
