Patrium (pay-tree-um) and
Matrium (may-tree-um) together known at the
Trium (tree-oom)
[currently off limits as a starting rank]The Patrium is the male leader and the Matrium female leader of the Trimaes. They are a mated pair who make the big decisions and sometimes, if either of them was a warrior before they became a Notrium, will lead the Trimaes into battle if the need ever arises. If neither of them is capable of battle they select the Notrium they think most worthy to take their place.
Notrium (no-tree-oom)
[currently off limits as a starting rank]The Notrium are a group of Trimaes selected to be trained as Triums. When one or both of the Trium dies or they retire the Trimaes meet together to decide the on the next pair. To be a Notrium a Trimae must be at least twenty-five years old. They do not have to have a mate, but they need one if they ever want to become a Trium.
Spirui (spear-ree-eye) plural -
Spiruis (spear-ree-oos)
The Spirui are the healers of the Trimaes, the ones who know all the land. They know which plants kill and which plants heal. They know all the forest lore and all the old stories. They’re a mix of spy and doctor, the stealthiest and usually some of the smartest of the Trimaes. A Trimae must be fifteen years old before they can become a full-fledged Spirui.
Nubisan (new-bee-san)
The Nubisan are storm elementalists, Trimaes who have the power to control storms. This is a very rare gift, though all Trimae love extreme weather very few can control it. A Trimae cannot become a full-fledged Nubisan until they are twenty years old.
Gladium-magnus (gla-dee-oom mag-noos)
[currently off limits as a starting rank]The Gladium-magnus are the elite warriors, only the strongest and smartest Trimaes are given the honor of being selected by the Trium to become one. They are the peace keepers and generals, the ones who order the regular warriors about. There is no certain age to become a Gladium-magnus except they must be a warrior.
Gladium (gla-dee-oom)
The warriors are the protectors and hunters of the Trimaes. They are the ones who hunt for all of the food the Trimaes eat, they patrol the borders and would lay down their lives for their fellow Trimaes. To be a warrior a Trimae must be ten years old.
Sigtifica (sig-ti-fee-caw)
The Sigtifica mentor the Novius and help them realise which path is theirs. They teach them all the basic skills a Trimae must know. To become a Sigtifica a Novius must talk their Sigtifica, as soon as they are proclaimed ready they begin teaching the youngest of the Novius.
Antiempus (aun-tee-em-poos)
The Antiempus are elders, the retired, the ones who have served their species well. They are some of the most respected Trimaes and the Novilia love to hear their stories.
Novius (no-vee-oos)
Novius is the named used for any trainee or a group of mixed path trainees. The first three years of training Trimaes learn all the basic knowledge all Trimaes must know. After the three years are over they must decide what path they wish to learn.
Nospirivus (no-spear-ree-voos)
The Nospirivus are the healer trainees.
Nonubivus (no-new-bee-voos)
The Nonubivus are the storm elementalist trainees. It’s known almost instantly if a pup is going to be a Nubisan because most pup exhibits signs practically from birth.
Nagladivus (naw-gla-dee-voos)
The Nagladivus are the warrior trainees.
Novilia (no-vill-lee-ah)
The Novilia are the pups and lifeblood of the clan. They’re the youngest members of the clan. A Trimae remains a pup two years before they are considered old enough to begin their training
