Rank:

Why do you want this goennec?:

You already know the answer to this one. First reason, and I believe it is the most important... ghost. 8I Ghosts are awesome, and this girl makes an adorable one that cannot be ignored. Second, she keeps pawing at my mind, giving me ideas of how she could be used. Third, her simplicity. I really like simple designs, you know that. I believe that a character does not have to be horribly complex to come to live, and ironically she very much comes to live in my mind ever time I see her. Last but not least, ghost. 8}
Also, she matches my font color. 8D
-Totally not giddy about this discovery-

How would you use this character?:

Amazingly enough, I can see her fitting perfectly in the rp, being the lonesome ghost rarely anyone sees, making inappropriate comments because she knows she can get away with them... you know, doing the usual ghost thing. I would love to headmate her, especially seeing as how in a strange way, she is almost a headmate even as a character, coming across almost as an imaginary friend for Sihir due to the inability of most to see her as concretely as she can, catching only glimpses of a strange, silvery blue doe watching them in the distance, vanishing the second you blink.

Define your Goennec:

Stats [Age, Height, Variations]

-Unknown-
2'1"
Naturally Colored
Ghost

Mate/Marital Status

No Mate

Likes

Sihir - Being unable to communicate to pretty much anyone since her death, the young kid's ability to see, touch, and talk to her came like a god sent to her, making her gain a liking to her almost instantly. She cherishes the kid's company and tends to follow her around whenever she notices she is alone, hoping for a bit of company.

Northern Lights - Or Sky, as others call him. Alma is unsure as to whether this ram can truly see her or not, but there are times she swears she can see his eyes meeting hers and a small smile crossing his face. Not only that, but on occasions she can almost feel as though he is answering something she has said... although he doesn't always make this entirely clear. On top of his hopefully being able to see and communicate with her, Alma simply loves listening to his stories. They are so vivid and well narrated, she can almost feel the touch of the breeze against her fur and the heat of the sun on her skin while he speaks.

William - Easily the most amusing of the few goennecs whom she has had an actual conversation with since her death, Alma can't help but love William, especially seeing as how his own strangeness makes her feel like much less of an outcast. Why he is able to see her as clearly as Sihir is unknown to them. William claims it is his extra refined bat senses that allow him to see her, but Alma and Sihir are more certain it has to do with the few bolts loose in his head. There have been moments in which Alma and William have been able to touch, much like Sihir is able to, but the reason behind this intermittent ability is also unknown.

Ribbon - If there is one thing that Alma loves, it is her ribbon. Back when she was alive, she remembered cursing it and constantly attempting to pull it off, determined to look and feel wild and free. In death, however, the ribbon that remained clinging to her neck is the only source of discomfort for her, the only source of physical feeling, and the one thing that reminds her - no matter how slightly - of what it felt like to be alive.

Dislikes

The Spirit Realm - Unlike most goennecs when they die, Alma has never crossed over to the spirit realm in fear of what lies beyond the material plane. She hates herself for being too much of a coward to move on and make peace with her death, but she finds herself unable to even enter due to her astral body rejecting the transition due to her own qualm at not knowing what will happen when she crosses over. This inability to cross over has made her dislike the realm and the subject altogether, and often changes the subject or leaves when Sihir brings it up, as the strange kid is perfectly capable of moving to and fro this mysterious place.

The Living - It's not that she dislikes those who are still alive exactly, it's more along the lines of envy. She is jealous of their ability to feel, touch, eat and share warmth among themselves. Most of all, she envies the mothering does, knowing that she will never be given the opportunity of raising a kid of her own.

Rain - As a ghost, Alma is not affected by the elements. To her, this is never more obvious than when it rains as she sees the others quickly become drenched in water while her translucent pelt remains immaculate and pristine, the droplets that weigh down the others merely passing through her non corporeal body. During this time, she is at her most vulnerable, depression quickly taking over at her lack of existence and her inability to do something about it.

Personality

Coward - There is no way to deny the fact that Alma is a coward. Even if one were to overlook the fact that she is too scared to cross over to the Spirit Realm despite Sihir constantly telling her it will be alright, she is afraid of countless things despite these not being able to hurt her. Whenever a bolt of lighting streaks the sky, she is quick to jump and scream in fear before attempting to hide inside a rock. If a bug crosses her path she quickly starts squealing and taking steps back. This sort of behavior tends to be very amusing to those who can see her, although it does get annoying from time to time. Her cowardice is the reason why she is not certain if Northern Lights can truly see her or not, as she has not had the courage to ask him in fear that he will not respond, crushing her dreams of the handsome, gentle ram being able to communicate with her.

Inappropriate - Ever since Alma realized other goennecs could not hear her, Alma became very prone to making fun of others, or making comments she would not have normally had the guts to say if she had been visible, especially when said comments are quite perverse. After so many years of this sort of behavior, she has a hard time controlling herself and being a bit nicer in front of those who can see her, a quirk that sometimes gets her in trouble with them.

Useless - Alma is not exactly useless, but she certainly sees and describes herself as such. Unable to communicate with others, she is normally unable to help in most - if not all - situations. This does not deter her in her wish to help, however, and she can constantly be seen trying to somehow make an effort to tell the herd of some danger in her own inaudible ways.

Background/Story

How... how did this happen? Where am I? What is going on here?

The day had begun no different for the pretty white ewe known as Alma by her humans. Crystalline blue ribbon tied around her delicate neck, complimenting her equally blue eyes perfectly. Unfortunately for Alma's owners, the beauty that this ribbon added to their much pampered and adored pet was lost to her as she fastidiously decided once more that said ribbon had been around her neck for far too long, and was once more using a well practiced hind paw in an attempt to rid her neck of its discomfort. A goennec with a ribbon? She didn't care how much the neighborhood goennecs said it was classy and added to her status in their home, it was still irritating and felt nothing less than unnatural.

While Alma had been born a pet and raised among humans her entire life, she dreamed of being wild and free. It had nothing to do with her humans, no, not at all. In fact, their kindness and love was all that stood in the way of her dream. How could she leave them behind? They may look different, but they were still a herd to her none the less... now if only they would understand that their need to put on fancy pelts on themselves did not in any way mean that she wanted or needed them everything would be bliss.

M-my ribbon? My ribbon... where is it?

Goennec Pen #: W8

Name: Spiritoata (or spirit for short)

Rank: Soldier

Why do you want this goennec?:

When I first saw her I had an imediate click, I dont know why but i couldnt stop thinking about her so i decided to apply. I'd love to take her home him me because she is unique and I know will capture my imagination quite as quickly as she has captured my eyes and heart. I sure I can let my imagination do wild with her as well.

How would you use this character?:

I will deffinatly use her on the rp, if anything maybe she'll get me motivated enough to write more then one paragragh (expecially with her playfulness now that may be fun) . I will get her art and write her stories, as she is very inspiring and it will be intresting to see what she does in stories not related to the rp. XD I can imagine her now.

Define your Goennec:

Name: Spiritoata (Spear-it-oh-to-ah)
Nickname: Spirit
Age: 6 Years Old
Breed: Goennec Shadow Spirit
Rank: Solder

Personality

Spirit is a mechieveous soul who loves to play pranks on others and then fade into the shadows as if she was never there. Mot of these pranks with be focused on dear friends, and brings smiles to their faces. Some of her pranks though can get her in trouble with her friends even if she doesn't mean it. She will always apologize afterwards though and ussaly it will be accepted.

She is very loyal and an asset to have on your side as a friend. If she has to she will defend a friend with words, or tricks never will she fight physically. She would perfer to run then phisically go up against someone, she has a great sense of self preservation because of this.

She is rather socialble, and will be seen going up to complete stangers hoping to be friends. Though this does seem to get her in trouble, more often then not it works out in her favor. She has a charisma that draws others to her.

Spirit though sociable, often like the stick to the shadows. It seems she has a bond to them, and she can move through them invisably. She also seems to use them to sense things. Not much is known about this either. She is rather mysterious in these areas.

Story

I don't remember much of my childhood, much of it was faded in shadows of my own mind. I remember great darkness all around me but that is all. I know I grew to know I wasn't like others, in the herd I had claimed as my home. None of them could fade into shadows, still i wouldn't and couldn't stay alone. I craved friend even with how unique I was. Although sometimes my friends do not appreciate my sense of humer, and it often got me into trouble. I do love my friends, though, no matter how much i joked with them.

Meeting Lavantia was one of the best things that happened to me. She is a constant friend no matter how far a joke may go with me, I can count she will be there after it is over. Hehe, I remeber one time when this was all to true, that day I lost at least one friends trust.

Rank:
Peasent; Although she is unknown to most of the Geonnec community.

Why do you want this goennec?:
EEEEEEP.
Becca~ash wrote:A sewn together kind of doll-ish theme if not Zombie?

I was the first to suggest, I've always been in love with this kind of themed Idea, and when I relised you were making one, I smiled. :3
There are so many reasons for why I would love to own this character and call Putula mine <3 The way she looks just pulls me in, I searched up and down the page at all the geonnecs, and soon enough I had picked this wonderfully stiched 'wormtail; that is when I relised I couldn't back away. I have so many unbelievably inspiring Ideas for a story and background infomantion. Her personality is already mapped out, and I can't wait to draw her. I can just imagine her sitting on this shelf, alone. Now and again being thrown around with a child. The Idea of being weak and poor at standing on her feet, will really get the story going. I have the Idea that she will slowly learn how she can be more independant without walking and the such. She will go on this adventure and gahh; I can't wait to get writing! C:
I should really shut up by now, but I just have so much to tell you. The colours that have been used are just amazing, and the text colour I am using now is the colour I use normaly, which fits well to the colours you have chosen. I love the mouth so much, the way it curves around in a kind of mishevious smile, and the eye compliments this Idea imediately. The button automatically makes me feel like perhaps Putula will have a 'hollow' personality, it shines in kind of a creepy, puzzled look. And the worms!; haha, such a brilliant unique Idea, that to be honest, I doub't I'd ever think of. <3 Thank you for creating my Idea; Next step, love her to death. B)

How would you use this character?:
I would use her in Art and in a story. Gosh, I wish I could join the role play but the site always plays up on me. I have to wait untill christmas to update my laptop; so then I can go back onto Deviantart and other sites including the Geonnec forum and roleplay, so I may decide on joining them then. :3 But back to the main question. I have already doodled her off by heart in some of my art book, which I shall upload shortly. So there is no doubt I shall be drawing her, and often at that. I have been drawing Kralot since I got him, mainly traditional so I shall have to upload that too sometime soon because I'd love to share. I would use her on my character thread and will definately get art of her from other people too. Have I mentioned writing about her? I'm already knee-deep in Ideas for thrilling stories that I can't wait to begin writing. <3 So, enough of this, on to the stories and real importance of the form <3

Define your Goennec:
Is she really that different? ;;
She is a worn and tired soul, whom can barely move a couple of feet without beggining to ache. Therefore having little control over herself, making herself a toy to whatever child stumbles upon her. She prefers to stay away from children, it's a natural habit to become nervous and itchy when close. It doesn't help that the majority of children enjoy hugging 'cute' things, even though most aldults and older children back away a bit at the look of Putula, the younger children don't see any point in being scared, and just see her as a big fluffy toy.

Putula is female, fairly young even though she may look old, and almost perfectly matches with her star sign, Virgo.
They do not trust others, nor do they have confidence in themselves and their judgments.
This is unbelievably true with Putula, she is weak when it comes to decision making and trusting others. It's hard to trust others when you don't even trust yourself. She often tries a little to hard to understand what people and other Goennecs mean, and can sometimes take it the wrong way to make it even more awkward than before.

Story:
They were teasing me. I knew it. Placing a mirror upon the shelf opposite, I couldn't bear it. My smile mimiced, my eyes threaded in the some-what distort image I see before me. It was dark, the dim light coming from the door was just enough to strangle my thoughts on how I could escape. As for being a 2'' 3 Geonnec, stuffed in a cupboard, life is great. I don't even need food, I feed on stuffing if anything, it kind of fills that empty gap inside of me. But here I go again, mumbling on about things no one ever cares about. I like to daydream. My head has no real brain as such, more like that substance you get when you microwave that ridiculously cheap pasta for too long. But I still have feelings, and being a toy that gets stuffed back into a spoiled childs cupboard wasn't exactly on my bucket list. I want to roam free, of course I do. So why don't I? One problem, I'm stiched, so my limbs are weak and feeble. I am a wild Geonnec, and I don't want to be domesticated like this for my whole life. Thing is, all I can do is dream.
পুতুল. That's what it used to say on the bottom of my right back paw, who knows if it's still there. It means Doll in Bengali, a place I vaguely remember the name of. I was about to say it might have been worn away, but considering how much exercise I get, I considerably doubt it. Well, Putula is what I get called. I could have been sold on the market in Bengali, but I don't know. It would make sense. Either way, I shuffled along the shelf, as it craked in vain. I felt sorry for the shelf to be honest, I wasn't the lightest of objects ever, I would get off this rechid shelf, although I have always been scared to jump down, even though it is only about the same height as I am down.

The moon is full, the night sky clear of clouds. A chill wind is biting; winter, coming at last. The perfect weather for this: a monster born in an angel's skin.

Name:
    Galades;;Burzum
Basics:
    2'3"
    Naturally Colored
    Angel-Devil

Age:
    3 yrs;;2 yrs
Rank:
    Peasant;;Soldier
      Even though Burzum is a terrific fighter, Galades, the 'main' personality, if you will, is too gentle hearted to even think about fighting. However, in times of great danger Burzum is always willing to pitch in.
Why do you want this goennec?:
    The second I saw this lovely, an almost entire storyline popped in my head-which, for me, is something of a rarity. Maybe it's because of the intricacies that, for me, at least, must go in to a being split so simply between what is often expressed as 'good' and 'evil' or maybe it's just my WriMo novel spilling over, but whatever the case Galades and Burzum were instantly born.
    I love exploring the 'grey areas' of character development-I have a sad literary bent towards the depressing and the [semi] disturbed. This Goey is a near perfect chance for me to air those talents a bit more-to explore the discrepancies between people's perceptions of the world. I love Susan and Obi with all my heart, but the personalities I've crafted for them are an attempt to try my hand at some happier, upbeat stuff-it's just what they're made of. Galades and Burzum, on the other hand, are going to be a little more self-serving; with them, I'll be writing what actually flows, without hesitation, and without having to force myself into a specific mindset.
    These lovelies will be my channel for what I write best.

How would you use this character?:
    They'll get art big time; mine will probably never make it out of my sketchbook, but I'll order as much as I can. They'll easily make it into my most-likely-never-going-to-see-the-light-of-day story along with my other Goeys, but I am ridiculously tempted to actually try my hand at RPing with them-provided I find the time to actually read through and get a sense of the RP, and hoping that I can find the time to actually post.
    They'll get a lot of love, a lot of loyalty, and a lot of whatever sanity I have left, I'm sure cx

Define your Goennec:
    Cohabitation
      Galades is in control for the majority of the time, and it takes a good deal of trauma [or danger] to bring Burzum out. The switch is just that-a switch. There're no schizophrenic tendencies: she doesn't hear him, doesn't speak to him. Galades is aware that Burzum exists, but it doesn't go much farther than that-he's little more than an entity to her, a shapeless protector; she doesn't even know his name.
      Burzum, on the other hand, is more aware of Galades. He not only knows her name, but also her likes, dislikes, favorite things to do, who she associates with, that sort of thing. He doesn't go so far as to try and assimilate those things-in all honesty he could care less. However, he does try to avoid alienating Galades entirely with his actions-though that may have more to do with the fact that he doesn't often have the chance to cause undue mayhem and destruction, and when he does the chance doesn't last long.
    Galades;;
      Personality;
        "It's Called Kindness…"; Galades is a tender-hearted young Goey, always ready to offer a kind word should one be needed. She tries to avoid causing others pain, be they Goey or not. Teased about it by some of the other Goeys, she remains certain that kindness is never a bad thing.
        "Um…H..hi?"; near cripplingly shy, Galades is able to speak with those she trusts and cares for, but finds it hard to talk to those she doesn't know very well. Even then, she's extremely quiet, and it can be hard to understand her.
        "Tomorrow Can Always Be Better!"; Despite her history, Galades is optimistic, always sure that things will get better. It's hard to get her down, and even when she is down she tends to bounce back pretty quickly. Getting too low can lead to a switch, so she tries to avoid it all cost, and is lucky enough to succeed most of the time.
      Likes;
        Birds; nothing makes Galades happier than being surrounded with birds-except maybe bird song.
        Singing; so long as she's alone, Galades would serenade the world. If she's really fond of someone, she might even sing for them-although only a lullaby, so they'd be more like to nod off mid verse.
        The Color Blue; blue skies, blue flowers, blue water, blue stones, blue shells-anything blue, she'll love.
      Dislikes;
        Pranks; they bring back bad memories of her old herd. Needless to say, stress her out enough with pranks, however harmless, and you might not be dealing with Galades anymore…
        Rodents; rats, mice, anything remotely rodent-like just gives her the willies. She tries to avoid them whenever possible; including eating them.
        Rainy Days; dreary days tend to make Galades depressed; they bring back memories she'd rather forget.
    Burzum;;
      Personality;
        "What Did You Say?!"; The word choleric describes Burzum to a T-quick to anger, quick to bite, the wrong word can rouse Burzum's wrath; even when the 'wrong word' is impossible to distinguish. While he's certainly better than he was in the beginning, he's still ready to speak his mind; and jump down others' throats.
        "You Really Think It'll Get Better?"; Burzum is a pessimist through and through-so far as he's concerned, if something can get worse, it will. Every once and a while he'll be able to look at something for face value, but he can never find the silver lining.
        "Why Do I Put Up With You?"; surprisingly enough, when caught in the right situations Burzum is rather patient-he'll tolerate a good deal of what he finds to be tedious, if not tolerating it is liable to get Galades into trouble.
      Likes;
        Natural Disasters; nature taking the time to tear something apart? Works for him.
        Fighting; Burzum lives for fighting-born from violence and pain, violence is his one true love.
        Galades; he can't help it-as much as he resents her being in control, she's kinda the reason he exists…
      Dislikes;
        Good Weather; Burzum hates sunny days, warm days, days with a brisk breeze-if the weather isn't gloomy, he is.
        Other Goeys; Burzum is a loner by nature-he'll tolerate others, but you'll never get him to like them.
        Bats; suffering from slight
        chiroptophobia, Burzum can take them in small numbers-at a distance. But up close or in large numbers? No thank you.

    History
      Galades was born late, to a young doe kidding for the first time. Her mother loved her dearly, but her father was put off by the kid's strange appearance. That first year spent with her mother was the only truly happy time in her life. It was after that year that Galades' mother left the herd, no longer feeling a part of it; leaving Galades behind.
      Within a few weeks her father had completely abandoned her to her own devices. The other young Goey's were quick to jump at her, poking fun at her odd appearance. They started playing pranks on her-harmless at first, but gradually growing more and more dangerous. Eventually she was left trapped in a small ravine overnight. It was at this point in time that Burzum was born, as Galades finally cracked under the strain of feeling unprotected. The next morning found Galades back with the herd-with no notion of how she'd gotten there.
      The next time the other younglings tried to pick on her, they made the mistake of cornering her. Feeling threatened, the Goey switched to Burzum-and proceeded to fight with the others. Burzum beat most of the other Goeys outright, injuring several before Galades regained control through his anger. The random and unpredictable outbursts that came in the following months drove a larger wedge between Galades and the rest of the herd, as, feeling increasingly unsafe even when in their midst, the switch to Burzum became more and more likely to take place. Burzum developed violent tendencies, likely to lash out at anyone, threat or not.

      A year after her mother left, Galades decided to do the same and abandoned the herd that had been her family until that point. As she wandered through the mountains, she gradually settled into a state of mind that made it easier to avoid switching with Burzum, although in extreme stress or danger he was quick to change. After almost a year, she'd become aware of her formless protector. Burzum, meanwhile, had begun to revel in the times he had control, and had found some slight control of his temper that made him slightly less dangerous; he was now less likely to simply lash out for the sake of lashing out.

    So I ran with the DID-hope that's not a problem.

And the walls kept tumbling down
In the city that we love
Great clouds roll over the hills
Bringing darkness from above

Oh where do we begin?
The rubble or our sins?

How am I gonna be an optimist about this?

Goennec Pen #:
W1

Name:
Ponce

Rank:
Domestic

Why do you want this goennec?:
I love this ram. He's absolutely adorable, for one- I love his little 'fangs,' and little goatee, and cape and menacing looks that really aren't convincing me. I just can't see this boy as 'evil.' Rather, I love him for what he is, and I love the ideas that he gives. I think that it would be great fun to have a showy carnival-Goey to headmate with. He seems like a lot of fun, and is certainly a change of pace from the rest of my herd.
Ponce is absolutely stunning, too- those natural browns and creams with bright red eyes is just to die for. I really, really like him, and I adore the metaphorical places that I could go with him. I feel that I've grown to connect with him quite well over the course of writing this form, and I love to further build upon that.
He's perfect, and I'm very much enamoured with him.

How would you use this character?:
Ponce would be used in the usual ways. He'd be a headmate and a companion, and a subject of my art and writing. I would order art of him when the occasions arise, and would definetly give him a place on the site that've finally made just for my Goennecs.[I still need to add some things, but there will be a link in my signature when I'm done.]
Ponce would be a source of smiles throughout the day when I would inevitably doodle him throughout my notes, and would be a fun guy to just think about and write little stories for. Though I don't think that I'd be able to find a place for him in the RP because of the fact that he's domestic; Ponce would still be well loved.
I love the ideas that he's given me, and I'd love to make them tangible.

Define your Goennec:

Brief History:

Ponce was born into Thrice's herd as a very different sort of kid. His strange teeth caused him to be thought of as Affected when he was young, and his erratic, strange behavior made him an anomaly. He tended to lash out at the other kids, and would periodically 'space out.' Though he was simply just slow to mentally develop, the herd was quite wary of the little brown ram. Once he was old enough to hunt, he quickly learned that his enlarged canines were great tools for shredding and ripping his prey. He developed a taste for meat and blood, and tended to shy away from grasses because if how difficult it was for him to effectively chew them.

This, of course, only furthered the superstitions of the majority of the herd. As a yearling, Ponce did not understand when to stop. Once, when he had been play-fighting a bit too roughly with another young ram, to the point where his opponent was bloodied and shaking, the herd had had enough. There was no more patience left for the strange ram with the fearsome teeth and violent habits and mental instability. He was driven away by the Prince for the good of the herd, and has yet to return.

His story doesn't end there, though. Ponce, terrified and young and not quite mentally up-to-speed, wandered alone; wishing that he could return and show them that he meant no harm, but unsure that he could even manage to find his way back.

His saviors came in the form of traveling carnival folk. They discovered him outside their tent, practically starving, and in the process of devouring an unfortunate cat. They were decent people, if a bit misled, and took to throwing the pitiful creature scraps of food whenever they saw him. Ponce hung around the performers more and more and was slowly tamed by food and kindness, to the point where he was eventually more of a pet than a wild creature.

After it was obvious that the Goennec wasn't going anywhere, they took in him, fitted him with his cape, taught him tricks, and made him a part of their traveling act.

Ponce has remained with them since, and is content with his peculiar, dosmestic life. He's matured into a dashing, fully capable ram, and now has a mind that has caught up with the rest of him.

Personality:

    Optimistic; Good-Natured: Ponce has grown up to be a carefree, jaunty, lively creature; one that his herd would have been wise to hold on to. He faces his current life with a good-natured sort of humor, and is almost always able to find the good in the bad.

    An Entertainer: It may be a strange life for a Goennec, but Ponce fits into the carnival scene very well. He loves to put to use the tricks he has learned, loves to prance around in his cape, and loves to put on a show and make people laugh and smile. Ponce himself finds great joy in these things and in his life, and adores his own little 'herd' of horses, dogs, and people. Tearing around throughout the various stands and tents during the when he's out of his pen is great fun, and when everything comes to life at night; it's even better.

    Dramatic: Ponce tends to make a big deal out of things that really aren't. He acts as if every time his dog crate is loaded into the van for traveling he's being sentenced to death, and if he's scratched, will flop onto the ground and lay there until someone pays attention to him and his horrible wound. Ponce likes to be noticed.

    Outspoken: Though the people and horses and dogs don't understand his 'language,' that doesn't keep Ponce from trying to express just how he feels about hings at any given moment. If he's hungry and left with only grass, he'll bleat obnoxiously until something is done about it. The same goes for when he's in his dog crate in the back of one of the vans when they're traveling to a new location, or when he's being put back into his pen at night before he wants to.

    Regretful: Ponce doesn't remember his life before being taken in by the carnival folk very clearly, but he knows that it wasn't good. He knows that he did things wrong, and he knows that he wasn't allowed to stay. This can, when he thinks about it too much, really drag his spirits down. While he doesn't want to go back, he wishes that he has better things to look back on.

    Clever: Though he was a bit slow when he was a kid, Ponce has grown up into a very smart ram. He's able to learn tricks very quickly, and can remember them very well. He's known amongst his masters for his capacity to snatch meat that isn't his- they have to be quite careful if he's out of his pen during their lunch breaks.

Likes:

    Blood: It's salty and sweet and perfect and Ponce loves it. His eating routine is to first biting his prey with his canines and lapping out all of the blood that he can - and then devouring the rest. It's a habit that he formed when he was a kid, and he hasn't let go of it yet. Ponce likes blood, and Ponce likes meat.

    Rabbits: Rabbits are, by far, Ponce's favorite type of prey. They're fun to chase, usually good sized, and taste better than mice or squirrels. His masters usually will give him a rabbit as a reward for a show well done, which Ponce always looks forward to. Live ones are better, of course, but dead ones can be just as delicious.

    Performing: Ponces loves the feeling of doing a trick just right. He loves to make children smile and laugh with his antics, and loves to please his masters. When he's doing a show with one of his masters, Ponce gets to wear his cape, which he equally adores. A job well done means a rabbit, and that's always a plus as well.

    His Cape: Ponce loves his cape. He eagerly waits at the gate to his pen before a show to have one os his masters put it on him, and always feels a bit of a loss when they take it off him afterwards. Ponce 'helped' his favorite lady make it- he did a great job of destroying many of her spools of thread.
    He loves to spin around just so so that it flares out perfectly, and he adores particularly windly nights when it is at its most dramatic.

    The Equines: The carnival folk have a small band of horses and ponies, which Ponce adores to be turned loose with. Running with them and playing with him makes him feel like a true herd animal again, which is a feeling that he loves. It helps keep him balanced and happy. He doesn't get to join his equine friends without proper supervision, though, as his masters don't completely trust him and his love for meat.

Dislikes

    Bright Light: His masters take caution to make sure that the spotlight is never exactly on him when he's doing his tricks; because Ponce hates bright light. It hurts his eyes and makes him uncomfortable. He does, thankfully, always have a sheler in his pen, which his where he spends the brightest parts of the day.

    Loneliness: Though he has wonderful masters, good hooved friends, and lots of attention; Ponce sometimes misses the herd. As a Goennec, he longs for other Goennecs. He doesn't have very clear memories of the herd, as his mind was quite under-developed at the time, but he likes to think that as the ram he is now, he would be liked and accepted by them.

    Grasses: Plants have always been an issue for Ponce. They're awkward to chew because of his long canines, and just not as satisfying as blood and meat. He'd much rather go to the trouble of hunting. For the sake of his health, Ponce's masters practically force him to occaisionally graze; withholding all rabbits and meat until he gives in.

    Traveling: Ponce loves his masters, and he loves doing tricks, but he doesn't like the traveling aspect of his 'career.' Being stuck in a dog crate in a van for long, bumpy periods of time just doesn't appeal to him.
