The Kyuubi had finally broken free of Naruto Uzumaki. The fool had loosened the seal, allowing the massive biju to escape. Instead of attacking those who sealed him away, he ran from the shinobi nations, and into the mountains.

I have a mate and son now. I have named him Heracles, for the great hero that was, and the one he shall be. But his mother thinks he should be a writer! No, his noble bearing is too great a feat to be wasted on literature!

My mom and dad are always fighting. I think it's about what I should be, but I think i don't want to be just one. I don't want to be a hero to just one land like my father thinks, or a writer to just one land. I want to help people all over, and then write down my story. So I've decided to run away.

2 years from Kyuubi's escape: Heracles
It's been one year since I ran away. it feels like just yesterday I heard my dad's howls of outrage. I was miles away by then, too far away for him to catch me. I felt bad disappointing my parents, but what they wanted was not what I hoped to be. I wanted to help more people than my father hoped for. I wanted to write more stories than my mother wanted me to. I was different from my family. I heard my father has an obedient new son, one with a female with more...Practical ideas (his opinion stinks!). I think he justs wants a more heroic son. No, I know he wants a son that bends to his will like the dough to the baker!

I was walking near a river when I saw her. A beautiful she-wolf with water cascading down her silky fur. I think I'm in love. And she giggled when she saw me looking at her. Could it be she loves me too?

I have spoken to her. Her name is Ara. She is a gray wolf 2 years of age. perfect, a female my age. She's intrigued by the stories of my powerful father, wise mother, and stealthy escape. Ara could be my soul-mate! And she seems to find my fur the best she has ever seen, though hers is twice as beautiful as mine.

On my way to meet Ara, I sensed another presence. Could it be my father who has come to find me? but instead, it was another nine-tailed fox about a year younger than me. He looks like a red fox. Wait! Is that my half brother? "I am Minos! Your younger brother has come to destroy you!" I pinned him to the ground, and i spat this, "You swine! Don't slander my mother by saying she spawned a runt like you! You are a mere half-brother!" Minos tried to attack me, but I chased him away. The last threat I heard was, "I'll kill that girl of yours! Yes, she'll pay for your mistake!" Fear made my blood run cold. I charged after him, determined to save my only love. I got there just to see him bite down on her neck. My eyes glowed red and my fur turned black. I jumped onto his back, sinking my teeth in and ripping chunks out of the swine. He squealed and leaped off her. I slammed him into a tree and tore at whatever I could reach. He kicked me away and sprinted from the scene. My fur faded back to white and my eyes flowed amber. I saw Ara's eyes, full of concern. Then, I blacked out. I heard sobbing. "I love you. But why risk everything for me?" I struggled to open my eyes. "Because I love you too. And that filthy scum of a half-brother Minos will never hurt you. Will you *i grunted in pain from my wounds* be my mate?" "Yes, yes I will," Ara sobbed. We both fell into sleep. But for me, it wasn't a pleasant dream. I was confronting father. He held a limp shape. ARA!!! I changed into my demon form. "Come my son! I challenge you to battle for the soul of your beloved wolf!" I saw a pale outline of her behind him. "Save me, Heracles! Please!" I attacked. My eyes flashed open, sweat beading on my brow. I looked down. Ara was still there. It was just a dream. I tried to sleep again, but again, my father came to me. He stood upon the bodies of mother, his new mate, Minos (please at that), but Ara was attacking me! I turned and ran. I woke up, disgusted at my own cowardice. I walked into the river and dunked my head under, wanting to die. A sharp yank pulled me from the grip of death. Ara stared down at me, "Why the hell did you try and kill yourself?!" I looked away, "I had a dream...You died. I couldn't save you." "Well, it was a dream! Not real!" I smiled and let free a chuckle. "Why are you laughing?!" "Ha ha ha! Your fur is black!" "WHAT???" she checked her coat. "You'll pay for that!" she tackled me. We fell over each other, laughing. It was one of the happiest times of my life. I had many of them, all because I had been with Ara at the time. I didn't realize father's plot.
Two years from Kyuubi's escape: Kyuubi's view
My son has betrayed me! He has fallen in love with a wolf according to my sources (my other child, Minos). i am coming to kill him.

I can scent him and his rotten mate. I can feel his blood pulsing. Blood that shall be spilled. I swear it on my life.
Two Years from Kyuubi's escape: Heracles' view
I smell father! He's done it now. I see his filthy orange fur. His red eyes wrapped in midnight black. Black color rushes up my white body. My eyes turn crimson. The color of his dirty blood. My claws are longer now, like my fangs. I charge and sink my teeth into fur, skin, flesh. Father grins. "Fool!" He throws me against a tree. Blood dribbles from my mouth. I get up. My rage burns through me like fire. My paws pound the ground as I charge again. I rear, slashing both my front paws across his face. He yells in pain. A blast of energy throws me back. Agony. I cough up blood. I fall, limp on the ground soaked with my blood. I stare at Ara's horrified face. Tears well up in my eyes as i realize I will leave her alone if i die...."NO!!!!" I watch as my father falls back. "Heh." My teeth find his throat. I tear. I rip. I enjoy the taste in my mouth. Father falls back limp. My pupils become small and I let out a primal roar. Minos ran to father's body. I ripped open his chest. He dies quickly. Ara smashes into me. "Stop! STOP!" she sobs. I hit the ground, and realize I am safe.
Epilogue
I live happily now, my and Ara's children frolicking around us. I am at peace. My evil family is now gone from this world. And now I can live in peace.

My children have been born. I have two sons and one daughter. I have named them Astrum, Marcuse, and Ara. Ara is the smallest, but by no means the weakest. I fear that Astrum and Marcuse may not survive.

My worst fears are confirmed! Astrum and Marcuse died last night! I think I might die myself. First my mate was killed in a fight, then, my sons perished. I'm sorry that I must leave Ara, but this is just too much.

I tried to shake my mom awake today. She wouldn't move! I tried for hours, then i tried to hear her heart beat, her blood pulse through her veins. Silence. Mother is dead! She left me alone. I cried to Draco, the god of my race, to give her back. But he refused to return her soul to her body. I am alone now. For sure.
Two years after mother's death: Ara's view
I walked to a stream where I could clean off the filth sticking to my fur and drink cool water before setting off again. As I entered the stream, I saw a Kyuubi No Kitsune looking at me. I blushed. His amber eyes seemed to bore into my very soul, testing my purity. Was he...fond of me?

I spoke to him. He has many good stories to tell. His father was apparently the legendary nine-tailed fox, and his mother was a simple arctic fox. And what a creation he is. His fur is so smooth and soft, yet he claims mine to be the silkiest fur he has ever felt. Has he ever had a relationship, because he's a natural at flirting?! Even though his eyes are what captured me, he says mine are the prettiest blue he has ever seen. Prettier than the stone sapphire.

I was waiting for Heracles, when another nine-tailed fox attacked me. He bit down on my neck. I tried to cry out, but he was choking me. I was dying. Heracles jumped out. His fur became black as midnight and eyes crimson. He tore at the one attacking me, blood flying everywhere. He was fighting for me! He slammed the offender against a tree, turning him into a bloody mess. The other one squealed and ran for his life. Heracles's fur turned to normal. His eyes changed to amber. Those captivating eyes closed and he fell. I ran to his side, tears dropping from my face and falling into that silvery-white pelt. "I love you. But why risk everything for me?" I cried. His eye opened slightly, "Because. I love you too. And my filthy half-brother Minos will never hurt you again. Will you *grunts in pain* be my mate?' "Yes! Yes I will," I choked out. I rested my head on his pelt. It all faded away into a blissful sleep.

I wake up and see Heracles in demon form. He's fighting the Kyuubi! He's being beaten. He's dying. Then, he closes his eyes. I hear him scream. "NO!!!" A blast of energy throws everyone back. Hearcles bites into his father's throat, laughing. Minos runs over to stop his murdering. His chest opens, blood flying. I run to my mate, smashing into him. "Stop, please! JUST STOP!" he hits the floor. White returns to his coat and his amber eyes are half-closed. "I'm sorry. Forgive me," he whispers, "These demons that I face are within. But I will never let them touch you."
Epilogue
I am sorrounded by my children. I love them as much as my beloved. Now we are safe. Evil uncles and grandfathers will never worry these young ones.
