Kennel: 19
Name: Frost Weaver
Nickname: Frost
Gender: Female
Breed: Italian Wolf
Age: 3 Years 1/2
Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?: I would like to use her as an important character, along with in rp's and order art of her. She is welcome with my characters [they are kind of wacky x)]
Personality: Frost is a content,shy and caring soul,she enjoys to be with others and her pups,and mate. Frost can be stubborn and impatient, but she will warm up to you, and bring out her true spirit and self, she enjoys to dance around and run through snow, over frozen lakes and eat chucks of snow and ice sometimes.
Dislikes&Likes:
Likes- Winter & Fall- Her full large family- Flowers, singing and dancing- Running over icy lakes, running through snow and enjoying it.
Dislikes- Summer & Spring- Her family being gone/losing her family- darkness-fog-fear of drowning
History/Backround: [in her own words]
''Life is more than just being yourself, surviving and having a family... You learn the good and the bad things, you also find your place where you belong in the cruel and kind world, your act places you in different groups sometimes old sometimes new, just be yourself fit in to were you truly belong..'' I said my breath quicked as I fell down, further in the hole, my paws flailing as I tried to get a grip so I could get out. Finally i got a grip and hauled my self slowly out of the deep hole. I lay on the ground, the dew soaked up into my fur making in heavy, wet and cold. I shiver and stood up, quickly I slyly ran off into the bushes, looking around I shook myself than countinued down a worn old forest path. I could smell the rotten oder of humans, old food and junk. Sighing I quickly ran away from the place over a small human bridge following a worn down path, by a old wishing well it appears to be. Twitching my ears, I went straight coming to a small streak the inner banks are somewhat caved in. Quickly I jumped over it than following the path up a semi-steep hill, taking a sharp turn and crawling through brambles I reached my home a large tree, with a flat middle were I slept on. Climbing up my paws slipped into the small cracks and dents I made from climbing so much, finally I reached the top and lay down on my ''bed'' which was made out of leaves,grass,sticks,mud and feathers for comfort and heat.Yawning i curled up asleep remembering when I was a pup ,the memories made fade by my heart will always remember my father for he risked his life to save me and my brother who was murdered as I escaped. I was raised myself I couldn't catch much so i snuck through trashcans and begged the humans, most of the time I avoided them like I do know as they alway's attempt to get me and shove me in a small cage until then my fate will change to something horrible unless I get adopted. So I always stay away from them but when I was younger I didn't and was foolish to for I almost got caught.

Kennel:
P19
Name:
Lady Frost
(I rather like that name)
Breed:
Italian Wolf
Gender:
Female
Age:
6 years
Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?:
I want her because she is one of the most gorgeous wolfehs I have seen, and I need a character like her for my charrie clan. I would order lots of art of her, as well as draw some myself. I would definitely put her in my next short story (I'm writing a series), and she would be much cherished. She'd probably be one of my favorite characters.
Personality:
Lady Frost is a generally kind wolf, and she has been known to give useful advice to those who are daring enough to ask. She lives on the very fringes of the Northern Territory, and it is not often she gets a visitor, but when she does, it's a welcome occasion, and her help is greatly appreciated. She has an overly large amount of knowledge in her brain, due to her extensive traveling in her younger years. Now that she has gotten old, she has laid back more, and has not left her den in over five months. She has been bestowed the title of "lady", a title given to those female wolves who have achieved high status, either in war and fighting, peace, or other accomplished actions.
Likes:
The Snow:
Lady Frost has always been enchanted by snow, which is why she has located herself in the Northern Territories. From a very young age, she has always loved to watch the snow from the safe haven of her den, only to jump in it as soon as it has let up.
Lady Kyrnyr:
Kyrnyr is a good friend of Frost's, and they still remain friends, even if Kyrnyr isn't always willing to trudge to the boundaries of her homeland. Frost recieved her mask from Kyrnyr, and cherishes that, too. Kyrnyr and Frost were the ones to discover where the emotion fear had gone.
Nockyk:
Nockyk is Frost's brother, and they still see each other sometimes, but not as often now, since Frost moved to a place where Nockyk doesn't like to travel. Nockyk is a general in the wolf army, and is renowned for his incredible skills.
Puppies:
Frost has a great love for puppies, simply since she misses her laid-back, fun puppy days. She is an excellent and gentle mother/foster mother/nanny, and desperate mothers who have reached Frost's home are grateful, if they are able to reach her. She has gotten herself a pretty big reputation as a pup mother.
The Mountains:
Frost has always enjoyed traveling to the mountains, despite them not being exactly close to where she lives. She's happy to travel that distance, though, for the beauty of the mountains always strikes her as being something uniquely gorgeous.
Dislikes:
Unused Paintbrushes:
No one knows why, but Lady Frost has always been very wary of unused paintbrushes. She won't paint unless the brush she is using has already been used.
Picture Frames:
Lady Frost likes to collect pictures, but the only way she likes them is unframed. She's had a couple run-ins with picture frames, that she really doesn't like.
History/Background:
I quote, in the words of my father, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." But in those days, fear had run awry and no one could quite place a finger (or paw) on why none of us were scared. You might think it would be a happy time, but it was a time of worry. It was as if the emotion had left us, which it had, but everyone was too ignorant in those days to actually realize that. We were all full of useless fluff in those days, and no one had the brain power to think on even our easiest problems. It was a horrendous time, but for all dusks, there is always a dawn. This dawn came in the form of a young pup named Kyrnyr, who was about my age at the time....let me recount the tale for you, since you have obviously traveled a great way to see me.
"No fair!" Frost wriggled out of the grip of her older brother. "I'm smaller. It's not fair."
Her brother barked, the wolf form of laughter. "You're not that much smaller, Frost, it's not my fault I'm big!"
Frost glared at him. "Don't brag about how you're off to join the wolf army, because you know you're not old enough yet!"
"Not yet," her brother said. "But someday, I'll be the strongest commander the army has ever seen!"
"Oh yay, I can't wait!" Frost said sarcastically. "You'll be the stupidest, too!"
"WHAT? No way!" Frost tumbled to the ground, laughing, as her brother tackled her.
"Frost, Nockyk, it's time to come in!" Kaya, the pups' mother, was standing outside the den. "I think you've had enough for today."
"Awww," the pups chimed simultaneously. They trudged unwillingly into the den. Kaya looked out over the forest.
Something bad is coming, she thought. I must keep the pups safe until it passes us. She shuddered. Let us hope it is not too bad. She turned and trotted back into the den, ready to protect her pups to the death.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frost leaped onto Nockyk, her powerful hind legs making her jump even further. "Gotcha!"
Nockyk pawed her off. "Come on, there's no time for play. I have to get to the army enlisting station." Nockyk walked away, not sending even one look back on his sister or mother. Frost's ears drooped.
"But...."
Kaya sighed. "Come here, Frost, will you?" She looked her daughter in the eyes. "Do you know of your heritage, dear?" she asked.
Frost shook her head, confused. "No, what is it?"
"You are from a long line of prestigious Italian Wolves. Your father was very well known in his days."
"Italian? Where's that?" Frost was thoroughly confused.
"It's called Italy, dear, and your father moved here because he didn't like it there."
"What was his name?"
"Sir Ullryck," Kaya said. "He was one of the most well-known, well-respected Italian wolves any of his kind had ever seen?"
"Are you Italian?" Frost asked.
"No," Kaya said. "I don't think Nockyk is either. But I can tell you have your father's blood. I think it is time that you go and see your origins."
"What? We're leaving?"
"Yes. We are going to go to Italy."
"Now? How far away is it?"
"It is very far, my dear, but we will get there eventually, I am sure of it."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Mom, we've been walking for hours, can't we stop now?"
"No, dear. We are almost at the home of a good friend of mine. She'll shelter us for the night."
"Is she old?" Frost really was tired.
"No, not really. She has a daughter your age. I think her name is Kyrnyr, but I'm not sure."
"Kyrnyr?" Frost scoffed. "That's a weird name."
"No weirder than Nockyk or Ullryck."
"But Frost doesn't sound weird. Neither does Kaya."
"I know dear, we're just...different."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"No, not for me. But really, darling, it only matters on how you look at it." Kaya paused. "It is not important what others think of you, it's important what you think of yourself."
Frost looked at her mother, her eyes large. "So, I should always believe in myself, even if others don't?"
Kaya smiled. "Yes, darling, that is exactly it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frost was officially bored. This 'Kyrnyr', or whoever she was, was driving Frost crazy. She was a constant chatterbox, she bragged about how her mask was made by the best mask maker ever, she kept showing off her "epic flips", and was devouring a whole elk at the same time. And through all of this, Frost was trying to sleep. She was polite enough to keep quiet at first, but she couldn't stand it anymore, and gave up on trying to contain herself.
"Will you shut up? I've been walking for hours, and I finally get here, and all you do is prance around and brag about how epically awesome you are, and all I want to do is sleep!" Frost yelled.
Kyrnyr took a step back, her eyes wide, and bolted out of the room.
"Finally," Frost sighed. "Peace and quiet."
But it was not to last, Kyrnyr came back in and began blabbing about how her mother disliked yelling, and Lady Frost had no choice but to give in and ignore her.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyrnyr and Frost walked along the riverbank, finally having gotten to know each other. They were headed for a faraway mountain, where all wolves went to test their skills in a "final test". If Kyrnyr or Frost passed this, they would be given the title of 'lady', which was desired by all female wolves everywhere. Kaya and Frost had decided not to go to Italy, since it was just so much nicer here. Kyrnyr had given Frost a mask, and Frost now cherished it, because it reminded her now of her only friend, Kyrnyr. Frost had also found some cardinal feathers, which she had added to the ensemble, and she thought she looked quite pretty, if she said so herself. Kyrnyr and Frost were nearing the mountain, and a shape rose out of the mist.
"Nockyk?" Frost asked. "Is that you?"
"It is Sir Nockyk to you, sister." His tones were harsh, but his eyes were teasing. "Did you come for the test?"
"Yep!" Both Kyrnyr and Frost answered.
"Well, then, follow me." As they walked, Sir Nockyk fell in beside his sister. "You know, that mask makes you quite fetching. I'm sure there will be lots of males after you, now." He winked. "And the feathers are a nice touch."
Frost rolled her eyes. "Thanks, I guess."
BUt Nockyk's words were not false. Everywhere Frost went in the mountain, males doted after her, but none she found interesting.
"I guess I'll stay single," she muttered to Kyrnyr.
"I would, too, with these males," Kyrnyr laughed. "But your brother's quite fetching, you know."
"He'd love to hear it," Frost replied. "I think he likes you, too."
"Really?" Kyrnyr asked, her eyes sparkling. "You think?"
Frost nodded. "Of course. You two would make a great couple, too."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The test had gone off without a hitch, and both Kyrnyr and Frost were bestowed with the title of 'lady'.
"So how does it feel, Lady Kyrnyr?" Sir Nockyk asked, flirting.
"I dunno, how did you feel when you passed?" Kyrnyr asked back.
Lady Frost snorted. "You're acting really stupid."
"I thought that's what everyone did when they were in love," lauged Nockyk, teasing his sister.
"Well, I wouldn't know," Lady Frost teased back. She smiled. The test had been quite easy, she had been expecting something much harder. She thought back to the beginning, and she realized just how nervous she had been.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm so scared!" Kyrnyr gasped, shaking. "I really don't want to go first." Kyrnyr and Frost were standing on the precipice of a large cliff, and there was only a small bridge across. The test began on the other side, but really, the bridge could be considered part of the test, too.
"Look, I'll go first, if you want," Frost offered. "I don't mind." Frost really did mind, but she wanted to get the test over with very much.
"You would? Oh, thank you!" Kyrnyr's shaking ceased slightly, but it was obvious she was still nervous.
Sir Nockyk bowed his head to his sister. "You may go."
Frost stepped forward, took a deep breath, and began to walk across the bridge. The first pawstep was nerve-racking. She placed it on the bridge, and it shuddered. Frost withdrew her paw, and slowly put it back on. The bridge moved less this time, and Frost summoned her courage, placing her other front paw on the bridge. She walked forward a little bit, and deciding it wasn't too hard, she began to run across. The bridge was swaying, but she ignored it. Her first priority was to get to the other side. When her first front paw touched the other side of the bridge, she let out a large sigh of relief.
"Good job, miss!" Frost looked up to see a handsome, dark brown wolf emerging from a gaping black cave. "You have passed the first part of the test. Please follow me."
Frost followed the wolf through a series of passageways that connected parts of the cave. Once she was in the cave, it didn’t seem so dark and foreboding, it actually seemed nice and warm. Frost could tell it was a scam, and she refused to believe it. The brown wolf stopped at a passageway.
“You travel alone now,” he said, bowing his head. “I wish you luck.” He quickly ran away, leaving Frost alone in front of the tunnel. She eyed it suspiciously.
“Well, here I go,” she said to herself. She paused, took a deep breath, and headed into the tunnel.
It was lined with burning torches that were connected to the wall with the claw of some sort of large animal. Frost shuddered. She didn’t want to know what was coming next.
As she walked down the cave, the light from the torches seemed to get duller and duller, and a sense of foreboding fell over Frost. Her legs tightened and her eyes narrowed. She was ready for whatever came next, even though she hadn’t any idea what it was.
Frost could tell that the end of the tunnel was approaching. She could see a small sliver of light, like the sun only just coming up in the morning. The torches, by now, had gone all the way out, and she could not see anything but that one sliver of light. Frost was not heartened by it though, she knew the real test began there. She stopped just before the end and braced herself for what was coming next.
Frost stepped out into the light and blinked. There was nothing there but a gorgeous meadow full of wildflowers of every color she could imagine. The trees bordering the meadow were lush and tall. Birds of every shape and size perched in the branches, singing beautiful songs. There was a large lake in the center, where carp fish swam around in circles, creating beautiful pictures in the water. The water in question was crystal-clear, the sand on the bottom was so visible, if an old woman with horrible eyesight had dropped her ring, she would have been able to find it.
But Frost was still on guard. She wasn’t sure what, but something about the place made her feel very wary. She heard something above her, and she quickly moved aside. A huge boulder landed in the spot she had been standing in just seconds before. She gasped and her fur stood on end. She barreled through the clearing, sending flower petals flying everywhere. The boulders kept coming down, and Frost now realized what the test was. It was not a test of survival or fighting. It was a test of believing and wits. To see how one saw the world, to see how she or he reacted to such a beautiful place, with no sign of danger. It was to see how aware one was of his or her surroundings. The whole test was a lie. It was said that the test was a survival test, a war test, but now Frost knew the truth. It was a test of wits. Frost reached the other end of the clearing, and she took a breath. She knew she had passed, it was obvious. The dark brown wolf appeared beside her.
“Congratulations, miss Frost.” He bowed. “You have passed the test.”
He led Frost through the trees bordering the clearing, past a river with water running gently over rocks, to a small pond.
“Step in the water, miss Frost," he said.
Frost did as she was told and gasped. The water felt better than anything in the world. She felt energized and ready.
“I bestow upon you,” the wolf said. “The title of Lady.” He bowed and placed his paw on Frost’s chest. “For your bravery and understanding, your truth and purpose. For your wits and reaction,” He took his paw away. “I name you Lady Frost.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lady Frost smiled. Her destiny had been fulfilled, and a new challenge would await her. She looked over at her friend, Lady Kyrnyr, whom she had not gotten along with at first, her brother, Sir Nockyk, who had teased her and embarrassed her endless times, but whom she still loved very much. She thought about her mother, Kaya, who had taught her everything. With all of these friends and family, she would succeed, and her adventures would be known to them forever.
Art:

(Look, I know it's not very good)
Other: Possible WIP. I could be done, but I wouldn't mind adding more.

Meh, I'm the sort who'd rather wait for inspiration with a character before actually going for it. I'd feel bad going for one that I just thought looked pretty. And hey, it was already half done so why not finish it and give it away? ^-^
Leaving this account.
I just... need a clean start.

.:| Kennel |:.
P19;
the number is also Brina's date of birth
.:| Name |:.
Signora Brina;
Lady Frost in Italian;
the name Brina was given to her at birth by her introverted mother;
Brina was chosen because the night she was born was the first autumnal frost;
the title Signora came in later years by way of status.
.:| Species |:.
Lupo Italiano;
Italian Wolf
.:| Age |:.
Three years, ten months, and seventeen days;
Brina is the younger of two pups in her litter.
.:| Why do you want this animal? |:.
I, Autumn.Zephyr, would like to adopt Signora Brina because I find her fasinating.
Already, Brina has a depth of character that I am excited to explore through writing her story and experiences.
She has a beautiful design.
I don't have any characters like her; in fact, she is quite different from the characters I do have.
.:| What will you do for this animal? |:.
I will house Signora Brina in my character thread. She will find it spacious and comfortable there.
I will allow her to play out storylines in my mind and I hope to Role Play her at some point.
I have already thought of a couple artist's whose style would play well with Brina's design; so, she will receive a lot of art.
I will give her as much of a detailed personality, history, and likes and dislikes as I can before the forms are judged.
I will cherish her.
.:| Personality |:.
.Speaks clearly and precisely, giving a good amount of thought before speaking. The language she uses is very proper, polite, and intricate.
.On the outside, Brina carries herself with dignity. She acts bery well, giving an air of refinement and grace. She wears this as her masque. Although she can be convincing in this, she hates being afraid of expressing her inner self for fear of rejection. And so she lies about who she really is, where she came from, and how she comes by what she gets.
This is the outer layer of Signora Brina.
Something, something, something.
This is the inner core of Brina.
.:| Likes |:.
The color aqua blue;
Brina dyed sections of her fur aqua blue to make herself stand out.
Anything of refinement or beauty;
Personal ornaments like her earrings and masque, gourmet food, civility towards others, achitecture, classical music, and art.
Her masque;
Brina found this masque floating down the canal as she was admiring a formal ball from afar;
She polished it up and added a couple of sleek cardinal feathers from her feather collection to spruse it up a bit.
Brina likes to think that her masque helps to hide her true feelings and emotions, as well as a scar she received from her abusive father.
Her feather collection;
Though containing mostly ruffled pigeon feathers, Brina has a few good finds such as a pair of cardinal feathers, a few canary down, and a single eagle feather.
She is always on the lookout to expand her collection and for more exotic feathers.
Frost;
How it glistens so stunningly, clinging to the window frames and exteriors of ancient buildings, but it is also dangerous if present for too often, too long.
Brina's namesake, frost captures her attention like nothing else in nature. . .except for a feather perhaps.
Being relied upon;
Having not been wanted by her father and occassionally expressed as a burden by her mother, Brina appreciates being looked up to as the guardian of two sibling puppies.
She is their provider on many levels; she is necessary to their existence.
Puppies;
Brina L O V E S puppies.
She likes the differences in the reactions and such between male and female puppies; how energetic they are, yet how they get tuckered out; how cute and cuddily they are; and how ready to learn and willing to please they are.
Venice;
Venice is filled with mysterious, history, beauty, and extravegence, but also back roads, darkness, alleyways, and rats.
It is a city of life, but also of death.
There is light and there is darkness.
Happiness and sorrow. In many ways, Venice is just like many other famous cities.
But, Venice is part of Brina's life. It is her town.
She knows the ins and outs of most everything that goes on in the city.
Venice is close to her heart with all its brillance and its depravity.
Watching the sunrise on chilly November mornings and the reflection it makes on the mirror surface of the canals;
Brina always starts her day off with a large portion of peace and a glass of liquid sunlight.
She will sit at the edge of the canal or on a bridge in the silence of the early morning, watching the sun peek out from behind the misty steam that rises from the water.
Doing this puts her in a good mood and assists her through the day if there is ever a time where she is running out of patience and filling up with frustration.

.Her father was angry often and occassionally verbally abusive. There was one time where he was physically abusive and took his anger out on her, leaving a long, jagged scar under Brina's right eye.
.Her mother was introverted, but showed inner strength in trying to protect her pups from her mtes outbursts of anger. Though she never left, she did her best to raise her young appropriately.

.:| History |:.
Word of the Dark One travelled swiftly through the backroads and alleyways of Venice, whispering menacing thoughts and casting shadows of doubt into the minds of the animal population. We feared the unknown, trusting in the familiar things we had become accostomed to. Little was really discovered about the Dark One and it is believed that his minions began the rumor. The usually tame pigeons burst into flight at the smallest of sudden movements, and confident dogs now slunk around bags of garbage, ever wary and watching for something terrible to happen. It was early November when my newly steady life became topsy-turvey--again.
"Zingaro! Do have to continue reminding you that it is now dangerous to wander around on your own?!" An elegant Italian wolfess looked expectantly at her charge, who responded by rolling her eyes. "Signora--I respect you an' all, but no one has even see this guy. The "Dark One. . ." Ha! 's prolly some guy who likes to scare people for kicks." The yearling female's gold hoops sung gently as she shook her head in amusement. How naive! she thought, chuckling.
"That may be, Zinga; but, until we know for sure. I want to you stay at the theater while I am out." The signora replied sternly. "Please." Her long plush tail switched slightly showing the wolfess' irritation.
Zingaro sat silently for a moment and gave the impression of seriously considering the matter at hand; however, her mind digressed.
Coming out of her reverie, the yearling gave her best smile and said, "Of course, Signora Brina. You are right--as always."

I think music is about our internal life.
It's part of the way people touch each other.
That's very precious to me. And astronomy is,
in a sense, the very opposite thing. Instead of
looking inwards, you are looking out, to things
beyond our grasp.

The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.
