Name You'd Choose for It:
Ryker-meaning Strong in Danish
Gender:
Male
Reason You Want It:
Well as you may know I do have a very soft spot for Tribals. I love Split Decision, and having his son would make me very happy. I love complicated designs, though as you will notice my characters are usually simple. I have been looking at my characters and have been planning to re-donate some, but unlike those poor characters, this beauty will stay. Soon I will be ordering a lot of art of my characters (I hoard rare cs pets and the like then order in bulk), and when I do, if I win Ryker, he will be getting lots of art. He matches my story wonderfully, and I love getting the second generation of characters and seeing how the genes pass on and such.
History/Background/Other:
History:
I felt a gust of wind, and then I was on the ground. I looked up and opened my eyes. A squeal escaped my mouth as the bright light flooded my gaze. I snapped my eyes closed again and whimpered. The voice that came from above me made me feel at ease. I re-opened my eyes and looked up at the Male wolf above me. He smiled down at me and chuckled. “You’re a big boy, huh?” He asked, prodding me with a claw. I yelped and skittered back away from him. “You’re a strong boy too. I swear, I am running out of names. What should I call you? Ryker. That fits,” He rambled. I yipped in agreement. Ryker was a cool name, even in infanthood I knew that. I got to my feet and began racing around in circles, yipping and barking all the while. The wolf laughed at me and began trotting out of the small den I lay in. I sighed and lay down, wondering where my mother was. Realization crashed over me when I peered around the den, and I realized she wasn’t here. A small hole left me feeling empty as I wondered if I’d ever find her.
The heat from the sun glared down onto my back. My father strutted beside me, his eyes blazing. He really did look like a demon when he was intent on the trail. He was taking me hunting for the first time in my life. Unlike my other siblings, I had experienced no sort of gift. I knew that another son of Split Decision had not received a gift, but it didn’t make me feel better at all. The doe that hovered in front of us looked up, and its gaze met with mine. She bolted away, and I smirked, thinking that I had scared her off. It was then I looked behind me to see the flames devouring the small forest just metres away from Father and me. Then, time seemed to slow down. I heard muted cries from father, telling me to run. I saw the creatures from the fire’s path of destruction fleeing in slow motion. Then, the pace quickened, and father was gone. The flames were bearing over me, and then, it all went blank.
The wind whistled through my ears. My eyes flickered open, then widened as I peered around. Where was I? The desert sand beneath my paws burned against my fur. I shakily got to my feet and whined as the searing pain on my flank made me fall to the sandy ground. I looked around me, expecting to see barren nothingness, but instead I saw an oasis. A forest, a bubbling stream and..Lions? I thought to myself in wonder, “How is this possible? Is it a mirage? Am I dead?” But then, the burn again made me wince and I decided that I wasn’t dead. I slowly stood up again and tried running towards the stream. I stumbled multiple times, and when I reached it, I dipped my paw in tentatively. The cool relief that immediately flowed through my paw made me sigh. I stepped fully into the water and took a large drink, before rolling in it. I suddenly remembered that I had seen lions, and looked around fearfully. There, in front of me, was another wolf, watching me intently with its intense white gaze.
I yelped and began backing away, but when I saw the unmistakable markings on the wolf’s back, I relaxed. “You are a son of Split Decision,” I stated in a cracked voice. The wolf nodded and smiled slightly. “You seem afraid. Why do you act so scared?” He asked, his expression rather serious again. “I just don’t know where I am or how I got here. Who are you?” I asked, tears pricking at my eyes. “I am Caden, son of Aysel and Split Decision. Is father kind?” He asked. I smiled. “I am Ryker, son of Renesmee and Split Decision. Father is…kind to an extent. His moods change, because he fights an eternal war inside himself, between good and evil. He can fly into rages, but he’s usually cool,” I replied, the words flowing off my tongue casually, as if I’d known Caden for longer than a few moments. I looked around me again and saw the lions, then whimpered. Caden chuckled. “Don’t go, they are harmless. Unless you are a zebra in disguise. You should join my pack. I’d appoint you Beta, if you’d like,” He told me. The suggestion sounded rather good, and I nodded, walking behind him.
Caden darted through the trees silently, and I followed after him, admiring his colours. “You don’t seem like a son of Split Decision, but you are. Why are you coloured blue?” I asked. He turned to look at me, but he continued running and dodging obstacles as if he was still looking straight ahead. “My mother is a night blue lion, so I suppose I’m more like her, not species-wise, but yeah….” He murmured. I could tell he was at ease with me around, possibly because of the blood we shared. He probably wasn’t always like this, but I didn’t bother pointing that out in case he became hostile. A son of Split Decision could have varying moods like his father, and if he became angry I would be most likely to be dead meat. I shook the thoughts away and looked around in awe as we came to a halt.
The huge waterfall in front of me seemed to whisper my name, as if it had been awaiting me. It was in a clearing, and the green pine trees that surrounded it seemed to be larger than they were at the edge of the forest. From the waterfall spouted a river that flowed into another large waterfall. I followed after Caden as he padded across the stones, disappearing into the waterfall.
I ran through the waterfall, and into a cave. It seemed rather empty but a few wolves sat inside, keeping guard. They dipped their heads respectfully at Caden and eyed me suspiciously. When they got a good look at my coat, their suspicions dissipated and their stiff positions relaxed. Caden turned to me and smiled. “This is your home,” He told me. I smiled and looked around, really feeling at home.
Personality:
Ryker is calm and sweet. He doesn’t usually trust others easily, but sometimes he has ‘feelings’ that make him feel immediately comfortable around some. He isn’t harsh like his half brother and isn’t a fan of conflict. He doesn’t like losing anything, from competitions to family to prey. When in danger, his first instinct is to flee, but if he sees that fleeing will not work, he will stay to defend himself. He doesn’t like being out of place or being alone, but when he is he will try to make the best out of it. He is rather optimistic and gentle hearted, which is strange looking at his blood relatives and their personalities. He doesn’t like being compared to others, and can fly into bad moods if provoked or embarrassed. He will become snappish, quiet or moody when in a bad mood, which is why most wolves know not to upset him. Ryker doesn’t really understand love that well, but he knows that one day he will. While that day is probably not any time soon, he doesn’t really mind. Ryker loves adventure and new things, but he has to be told new things slowly; too many new or exciting things at once and he will become overwhelmed. He is very much like an innocent pup, but some think it is just an act. Ryker is a kind soul, but he does have his unkind moments.

Habitat/Lifestyle/ect. :
A cave behind a large waterfall in a clearing. A dense pine and conifer filled forest surrounds them and water runs from the first waterfall in a stream into a series of large waterfalls. Bushes covered in berries cover the edges of the clearing. Sand covers the floor around the stream. The forest and camp is placed in a large mountainous area, as if it was meant for them. The deer and hares that run through the forest are plump in summer and spring, but very thin and bony in winter.
Ryker's yearly 'routine' is pretty much the same as the rest of the pack. It is rather orderly and sometimes hard, but life goes on. The summer is warm and pleasant, and that is when the pack hunts the least because they are usually full and plump. In summer, the pups are being raised by their mothers, while the winter pups* are being trained to become hunters and fighters. When autumn nears, the pack begins hunting more and more, stocking up for winter. As the middle of autumn arrives, most of the spring pups are nearing the middle of their training. The winter pups are being initiated as fully grown wolves into the pack. When the end of autumn arrives, the pack hunts even more and stock up. When winter begins, the pack tries to stay inside as much as possible, eating their food store. The rare group goes out and hunts in bulk. Trips like these usually take about a week, and when the group returns the rewards from the hunt are meagre. When the snow of winter begins to melt, the pups of spring are initiated into the pack as full grown wolves and go on a hunting trip. The rest of the pack leaves their cave solitary to begin utilizing the time when most animals are slowly awakening and hunt. When spring has begun, the pups are all born and raised while the pack fills up to make up for starving over the winter. As spring ends things go back to normal, and so, the annual cycle begins again.
*The Winter pups are few and thin, as they were raised in rather bleak conditions. Most mothers do not wish to raise their offspring in these conditions and so there aren’t many winter cubs
Ryker's lineage is rather clouded by the mystery of his past, so he does not know. He pretends that he just doesn’t want to talk about his family, but the truth is that he has no idea about his parents or anything.
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
