Histroy/Backround:{5000 max,500 min} The older adult cat shook his fur in a meadow. He looked at a river a few feet away, and smiled. He liked being a stray. No stale food, noisy roads.. Yeah, everything was perfect. He walked calmly to the water, and bent down, lapping it up slowly. What was the rush? He then sat down and began to think, licking away the last few drops of water off of his muzzle.

Sure, he had been a pet once. It was too much for him. He sighed when he thought about how he had escaped. He had to dig for what seemed like miles out of his outside cage that he couldn't climb. He liked being outside, but his owner abused him. He would open up his cage door outside in the mornings, kick him, give him five week old dog food, and yell at him for no apparent reason at all. Then he would toss him back into his cage and shut the door. While Coon was thinking about all of this, something caught the corner of his eye, and he turned his head to look. It was a rabbit, chewing on some fresh grass. Coon smirked, knowing this would be quite easy for a strong adult cat like him. He got up, stretched, and crouched, making sure the rabbit didn't see him. It was too late. The rabbit, who was very scared at that point, took off running. Coon regained his normal standing position and sighed. Although he was strong and smart, he was a little bit old, running was getting a little tired for his aged bones. He started chasing the rabbit anyway, however, leaping over a fallen tree now and then and zip-zagging through the grass and flowers. Finally, he leapt on the rabbit, and killed it with one bite to the neck. Coon smiled, and tossed it into the air, catching it when it came back down. He layed down on his stomach, resting his prize upon his outstretched paws, and ate it. After he was finished, he got up and licked the blood off of his muzzle. He suddenly saw a beautiful female cat, sitting down and licking her paw. His heart started to pound, and he decided to walk over, which he did. The she looked up and saw Coon, and she smiled, putting down her paw.
"Hi there." She said in a wonderfully soft and pretty voice. "Cream.. is.. is that really you?" Coon asked in an excited yet soft voice. Just as he said that, however, a dogcatcher drove on by, looking for any stray animals to take to the city pound. After all, he had heard some dogs in those parts. He stopped the van and got out with his net, seeing Coon and the female cat. "Oh no.." Coon whispered. "RUN!" He ran off, but she was taken by surprise, and didn't register his words in time. The dogcatcher roughly picked her up by her scruff, and threw her into the van. He decided to let go of Coon, after all, he was pretty fast and could hide in holes that the dogcatcher couldn't get in. Coon turned around as the dogcatcher closed the van's back doors and got inside. Coon's eyes flew wide open. "No.." He mewed worriedly and ran, chasing the vehicle as fast as he could go. "I'm coming!" He suddenly tripped over a rock and went flying a few feet. "Ahh!" He yelled, and then he fell on the ground. Coon got up as quick as he could, and just in time -- the dogcatcher had stopped to get some gas for his van. Coon jumped inside the left open window, and said to the female who was scared, "Quick! Come on, follow me." She didn't say anything, but nodded. They both leapt out of the van, and just in time. The dogcatcher had his back turned when they did, and not knowing that they escaped, he got back in and drove away to the pound. Normally the young feline was quiet, like Coon, so instead of saying really anything, she just smiled and purred, "Thank you, Coon. And yes, I am Cream. Wait.. you're Coon.." She gasped, "Father!" Coon smiled back, and nodded, hugging her tightly. He whispered in her ear, "I'm so sorry I left you."
You see, Coon had a family. They were all wild, living in a forest. Back then, Coon was younger and his daughter Cream was a kitten. But one day, a pack of wild dogs came and killed Coon's mate. Thankfully, Coon was faster than any of them, and ran off, forgetting about Cream. The wild dogs ignored the kitten, just taking Coon's mate to eat. Cream was old enough to walk and such, so she survived, but barely. After Coon had ran away, he remembered Cream. Figuring she had been killed by the dog pack, he was heartbroken. He yowled sadly continuously. Back then, Coon didn't care about humans. He had actually never seen them. "We have to get out of here. There's too many people." He said, looking around them. "What about the city park? It's usually pretty empty." She suggested. Coon was weary of humans, but agreed. Cream ran off toward the park, with Coon following. "This is it." She said at last, slowing to a stop. Coon looked up and saw a gate with the words "CITY PARK" in gold. They walked in, and saw beautiful fountains and park benches, gorgeous flowers and heard birds singing. Coon asked her, "Wait, why can't we just return to the wild, Cream?" She was about to respond, however, when a human picked both of them up and stroked them gently. Coon was about to fight back, but Cream stopped him. "Maybe she is nice, Daddy. Let's give her a chance, at least." Coon sighed, but nodded in agreement. After all, the girl didn't seem bad like his past owner had. The human girl smiled at them, and walked to her home. The girl smiled once again when she reached her house, and hugged both of them and whispered in their ear, "Welcome home, guys."
