Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?:Normally I dont go for chars in adoption places unless they really catch my eye. And this buggar here, definately did. If I happen to get him I would completely drown him in art. He would be a character of mine and get tons of love and a spot in my character thread. My friend and I have this little group of Nayomi and their new sona JR and he would love to join them. He would be part of my roleplays and stories that I write of my chars. He might be my fursona, Nayomi's Mate :3 So cute. Love the simplicity of the design. Even if I dont win, I will be glad I tried for this beautiful character :3
Personailty:Hates to be alone. He feels vulnerable without Nayomi by his side. He is a bit of a scardey cat but has his good reasons. He is outgoing when he wants to be but shy or not-talkitive when he meets new animals. He gets annoyed very eaisly espically from Nayomi. He is slightly clingy to Nayomi because she is his eyes. She helps lead him whereever he needs to go. Would do anything to protect Nayomi, even though he is blind. He likes to think of Nayomi as his sister, since his real sister was taken away when he was very young.
Dislikes&Likes:Likes: His bud
Nayomi who is blind in one eye. He likes to wrestle with Nayomi but if it gets to far he gets irritated. He likes being able to do anything he wants, since he had a limited amount of freedom when his mother was alive. He likes the season spring the most because it is when their food supply is best.
Dislikes: He hates loud noises because he cant see what they are coming from. His ears are sensitive to noise not only because they are big but because they are his best sense since he is blind. Therefore, if he hears loud noises they are twice as loud as they would be to a normal dog. He dosent like dogs that are much bigger than he is because he sees them at a slight threat. He does not like climbing trees like Nayomi because his legs are shorter and its harder for him to climb it.

Im writing this from Mason's point of view. As if it was a journal.ProlougeI lay softly in the grass and smell the September air. The world around me is perfect. All the other puppies Playing and enjoying the crisp fall air. My sister pounced around like a mainiac. She flung into me like a train. I yelped a bloodcurling yelp which made my mother
freak. She came rushing over in a panic only to see my sister staring right at her. My mother sighed and took us both over to the farmer to wash us. The farmer stood there, coffe in hand. He put the coffe on the bench and picked us up. We sat there awating what was to happen next. He put us in the bathroom and turned on the bathtub. One at a time, he gently lifted us up and into the tub. Rubbing soap over our muddy bodies. His hand seemed as gentle as a warm summer breeze.
---------------------
Every week or so I would hear people come and go, talking about buying some of us. All avoiding me because I was blind. Each day our number of brothers and sisters decended. By now I felt more alone than ever, my sister and other siblings were gone. I was left with only one other pup with a deformed leg, Until a rescue shelter came and took him. Leaving me only with my mother and the rest of the farm. My farm, was not any ordinary farm. It was specifaclly for
Percherons , cattle and chickens. The farmer had adopted my pregnat mother from the kill shelter.
I couldnt help but notice the Percherons. They sounded so big and mighty, Like I wish I was. They could get away with whatever they wanted to. I, however, couldnt even go 5 inches out of the barns field without my mother snatching me and dragging me back to the barn.Being blind was not something I really wanted to be but sadly I have to live with it.
--------------------
Those Percherons were the only company I had since my mother passed away. Some were rude and would snicker at my blindness. Others would guide me around.
Seems though I didnt have it so bad after all, I mean, The horses are pretty nice, The cattle listen to anything I say, And the chickens let me chase them. Soon would I find out I was dead wrong.
--------------------
The whole barn is shaking. Horses squealing. Its a tornado. Im lost in so many sounds. "Shut the doors, shut the doors!" I hear the farmer yell. Slamming of the barn doors is echoing through my head. I hear the chickens making so much noise I cant hear anything else. The sound of big hooves clomping all over the floor. "Get them away from the door! Hurry!" The farmer yells over the roar of the wind. The hooves get louder and louder until every thing goes black. Boom. I cant hear or feel a thing. Great.
--------------------
I awaken somewhere in the woods, too loopy to move. "Too bad the little guy couldnt make it" I heard the farmer say as he walked off. I tried to sit up so I could run towards his voice, but I had no energy. I lay back down in silence, and soon begin to dream.... (Inside his dream)
"C'mon Mooma! Lets go to the pond!" FaolÁn yelled. "Okay.. Go get your sister and we will leave." His mother said. FaolÁn ran over to his sister, than what seemed to be a giant person came and sweeped her up. This dream was turning to a nightmare. The giant started laughing and ran away with his sister. His sister squealed in fright as her voice was carried off into the distance. FaolÁn ran back to his mother. "M-momma! S-shes gone!" Mason whimpered to his mother. She looked back at him and ran off, so fast he couldnt catch up. He studdered around and out of the blue a Percheron came out and galloped around, getting closer, and closer. Boom.I woke up and studdered. I shook myself off and started to wander through the woods. I could only use my sense of hearing and touch. I was easy prey for anything.

"Well Hi there!" Nayomi said jumping out of a tree from above me. "You must be new!" she said circling around me. I held my ears back, trying to listen closely. "Hello? Over here." She said sarcasticly. I turned my head around to the noise. "Much better." She said. I blinked a few times. "Who are you?" I managed to say. "W-why me? Im the awesomest person 'roud these parts" She said with a grin. I flicked my tail. "What do you want?" I snapped. "Someone to bother" She said sarcasticly.
"Well im not who your looking for."
"Oh why, yes you are. See? Im doing it already."
I gritted my teeth. She does have a point. '
Hurry! Think of a comeback!' My mind kept replaying.
"No your not."
"Oh really?" Nayomi slammed her paw onto my tail. I yelped so loud even the crows flew off.
"What about now?" She said again
I didnt want to say no again, if I did she would rip my ear off.
"Fine." I admitted.
----------------------------------
Nayomi led me anywhere and everywhere. She showed me the pond where to get fish and frogs and even how to climb those blasted trees.
"Having fun yet?" She asked me
"Sure"
"Whaddya mean Sure?!"
"I dont know. Just sure."
"Sure?! I have led you all over the forest to all the pretty sights and you say 'Sure'?! Are you blind man?!"
"Yep"
"W-wait What?"
"Im blind"
"Your kidding."
"Nope."
"How could I be so stupid not to noice this before?"
"Dunno."
"Thats 3 hours of my life im never going to get back."
"Just because Im blind dosent mean I can see the good in life."
"You cant
see at all!"
I sighed.
"Well now I guess im stuck with you." She said with a grin on her face.
We wandered around the forest for a while. I followed her scent to keep up with the many turns on the trail. "Your not that bad." Nayomi said. "If I knew you name you would be even better." She seconded. "My name is FaolÁn" I replied under my breath. "Ahhh FaolÁn. Nice name you got there. If you havent heard already, My name is Nayomi." She said.
"Ohhh Ive heard alright" I said. She snickered. "I guess that makes you a bit better." She said.
--------------------------
Our friendship grew. And so did we. Well, her a little more than myself but I was okay about it. She teased me, I teased her. She was my eyes for the world. She would tell me the beauty and detail of plants and birds. I loved hearing the 'true' stories of her past. I enjoyed her company and she enjoyed mine. Although we were still pups, we could kill a deer twice our size.

Its daybreak and Nayomi and I still havent found a place to live yet. We need to soon or by the time winter comes we will die. We have no parents and no
good food supply.
By now we are just wondering through the woods. Just looking for a place to stay. Nayomi gets bored. And out of the blue pounces onto me like my sister used to. I squeal as I had no clue it was coming. "Gotcha" She said. I sighed and out of the blue pounced onto her. She was stunned in amazment. "Gotcha back." I said trying to act all cool. Yeah.... it didnt last very long becasue I got up and tried to walk away but ran into a tree.
Stupid blind eyes. Tryin' to make me look bad. My head went on. Nayomi didnt help much. She was over in the corner laughing so hard she could barely breathe. I sighed and continued walking on the path. After about an hour Nayomi ran ahead of me and shreiked "Look! A barn!" She ran ahead of me in an instant. I struggled to keep up with her until she stopped. "I think we found a home!" She said anxiously starting to run again. We jogged around the barn, making sure noone was there. We opened the barn door slightly, only to see a bunch of Percerons jump over us and run off to eat grass. Nayomi looked inside the barn. "Horse poop. These horses have olbiously been stuck in here for a while." Nayomi said putting her paw over her nose. She was right. It was horse poop from 4 inches off the ground. "Ewww." I said. We decided the poop wasnt going to help us at all. So we contined to search for another place to stay on the land. "Wait... I smell something." I said cautiously. "I smell human!" I said running far ahead and finding an abandoned house by the creek. "Woah" Nayomi said looking up at the old farmhouse. "Race you!" She said running ahead of me and stopping in front of the porch steps. I stopped right behind her. "Who wants to go first?" I muttered. We were being typical pups here. "Well.... Its just a house, right?" Nayomi said with a gulp. I took a step onto the porch. The wood creeked. Nayomi's ears went flat back. I jumped onto the whole porch and stood there. "I think its fine." I said turning my head to Nayomi. She jumped up onto the porch with me. The wood creeked again. "Boo!" Nayomi said pushing into me. I shouldve seen it coming but I squealed. The grazing percherons all put their heads up and looked at me like I was crazy. Randomly like never before, Nayomi and I start to burst out laughing. We continue laughing and ran into the house. Lauging and jumping everywhere.
------------------------------
Nayomi took me out to the Percherons. "Be prepared for the ride of your life." She said smiling.
"What!?"
"Hang on tight!" She said throwing me up on top of a percheron, which took off galloping. Nayomi jumped on another horse and took off after me. "Now Jump!" She yelled
"Jump?!" I said worringly
"Just do it!" She said jumping from her horse to mine and bringing me to the ground. We both laughed. Both of our lives were the way they were supposed to be. Free and alive.
