Kennel: 26
Name: Riddick
Breed: Grey Wolf
Age: around 4
Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?: The design is absolutely beautiful, it struck me the second i saw it and i knew i had to try for him, he really struck a chord with me and i am now captivated by him. I'm working on a four part series of books on a pack of wolves too, all designs that i have adopted previously, and i think he would be perfect to join the wolves at some point. He will also have his own backstory and a character thread for him and my other adopted designs that i am in the process of creating.
Also as i am online more now i would love to try and get some art of him, as well as practicing my art with him too.

Personailty: Usually quite quiet and often a little reserved around strangers, he doesn't mean to be rude but sometimes his slightly standoffish nature gives the impression that he is, though he always tries to be polite. He's a bit of a daydreamer and when he lets his guard down is often shy, especially with females. However once he trusts you he will be loyal and caring towards you, it is not easy to gain his affections but he is usually polite to everyone he meets. He is not quick to temper but if you manage to anger him his first reaction will be to try and get away from you, he doesn't like fights and tries to avoid them. He's a bit of a daydreamer and likes to escape into worlds of his own. Although he has a very quite nature he also has a very playful side and likes to chase falling leaves and splash about in streams.

Dislikes&Likes: A simple creature he delights in the sounds, smells and sights of his beloved forest. He like's nothing better than chasing the falling autumn leaves as they fall from trees or sitting on a sun drenched hill and watching the world go by. He likes autumn, the colors and smells of the forest, the slightly cooler wind and the shorter days. He loves water and will happily swim or play in it for hours at a time, or just sit and watch its swirling beauty. He also likes running, as fast and far as he can go racing the wind playfully. Starry nights are another favorite and he loves to lay watching out for shooting stars, it makes him feel peaceful.

Riddick
Wind whispered gently across the soft grass, the light green blades lit up by the early morning sun, the gently hush and bubble of the nearby river the only sound to be heard. Tall brown trucks stretched up into impressive green canopies casting shadow on the forest, sheltering the animals that slept beneath its peaceful leafy boughs. Slowly the forest was waking, creatures yawned and blinked sleepily rousing slowly as the day bloomed. One such creature lay upon a grassy hill, eyes closed, paws crossed under his chest, tail waving slowly behind in pleasure, warm fur rustled lightly by the breeze. This was his paradise and he delighted in the early morning sun, watching it peep over the trees to hang high in the azure blue sky.
Yawning he got to his paws and stretched, bowing his head and wiggling his toes through the warming grass as his body quivering slightly as each muscle stretched out. He shook his fur out and smiled before trotting down the hill at an easy pace, his easy gait carrying him quickly but effortlessly across the grass towards the river. Pausing at the river her lowered his head and crouched to lap at the cool water, slaking his thirst before jumping into the cool liquid, laughing as the water splashed up around his. Ears high and tail wagging he bounded downstream a small way sticking to the shallow water near the bank. It hadn’t always been like this though, a few weeks ago Riddick had a very close call with some human, as he clambered from the water and shook the droplets from his fur he thought about that time, and what had happened to change his life forever.

The beginning:
‘Ricky!’ the pup screeched racing away from him ‘stop splashing me!’
Laughing Riddick stood in the middle of the river that ran through his packs territory, knee deep in the swirling water he bent his muzzled to the water again and flicked his head, sending a spray of water towards his younger siblings on the bank. Ricky was a nickname used affectionately by his pack though his mother didn’t approve, she used his full name.
Of the three puppies on the bank only one of his little sisters complained, his other sister and his brother laughed, attempting to catch the silver drops in their mouths. Riddick didn’t look like his siblings however, he had been found at only a few days old, laying in a cave hungry and alone. The alpha pair had lost their first litter that year and had unusually taken him in to look after as their own when they found him, it was their first year together and they were heartbroken over loosing their pups. His sibling coats varied in shades of brown, from very light to deep chocolate, Riddick was grey and white tattoos down both his ankles on his back feet and up his front legs. He also had leather cuffs on his front ankles.
‘More more!’ his brother Aki barked bounding closer to the bank tail waving as he quivered with excitement ‘now!’
‘Whoa slow down champ!’ Riddick laughed splashing him again
‘yay!’ Aki and his sister Daisy cheered running through the spray.
‘You guys are mean’ a dripping Kiki complained walking to a safe distance and settling to lick her wet fur, her tiny ears flicked back with disdain.
‘Aww come on Kiki, you know you like it really’ Aki said wrinkling his nose at his sister.
‘No I don’t!’ Kiki shrieked back getting to her paws
‘Ok, I think that’s enough for one afternoon little ones’ Riddick jumped from the water and shook his fur out, covering all three pups in water ‘time to go home’ he padded in front of them leading them back to the den site. He turned to check on them as they padded into the trees and laughed watching Aki tackle Daisy, he shook his head and turned round amused. After a short walk through the forest they came to a small clearing, a cave stood half hidden under a huge fallen oak, this was the alpha den. No sign of mom and pop though so he took the pups to the alphas den, laying on the hot rocks outside the cave mouth, paws crossed in front of him, head down on his paws.
Three bundles of fur curled against his back and lay down, drying off in the sun waiting for dinner. Riddick smiled and closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of the hot sun caressing his soft coat, he loved it here, the little clearing and his little family. Content he flicked his tail lazily in the warm afternoon, dozing while he waited for the alphas to come home and take over care of their pups so he could go for a run.

A few hours later he heard a soft bark from the trees to his right, he raised his head and saw the alpha males head poking from the trees, next to him Lorrie appeared, the female walked forward slowly, happy to see them Riddick jumped up, careful not to jostle the puppies to much, a grin on his face as he trotted to greet them. Lorrie shook her head and touched her nose to his shoulder as she walked past, her warm brown eyes looked dull and Riddick was instantly worried. He nosed her back gently, watching her as she moved slowly past him and lay with her pups, her back to him. Gulping he walked forward slowly, oblivious now to the warmth of the day he felt a chill twist in the pit of his stomach as he took in the serious look in his alphas eyes. Slipping between the trees he followed Tora into the thick trees stopping when he did and waiting to be faced.
‘You know I love you as if you were my own son right?’ Tora started
‘Of course’ Riddick was confused, he tipped his head and took a careful step forward.
‘Me and your mother have been talking’ Tora paused and raised his head higher ‘we think it is time you moved on’
Riddick stared open mouthed, he tried to speak but words failed him.
‘You’ve been with us for a long time now, you will be four in a few moons, its time you looked to start your own pack now’
‘But….’
‘No buts, it was unnatural to hold you here this long, your mother couldn’t bear to let you go though, now it is time’
‘You didn’t hold me’ Riddick shook his head, panic rising in his chest ‘I stayed because I want to’
‘It isn’t natural! Our first litter will have to learn the same lesson in years to come too, I left my pack young, all wolves do’
‘I don’t want to leave you’
‘You have no choice’ Tora turned and looked evenly at him ‘unless of course you wish to challenge me?’
Startled Riddick stepped back ‘no, of course not’
‘Then leave, now’
Tora turned and left, with one solitary back wards glace ‘be safe’ he murmured before disappearing back to his family.
Riddick stood in the trees, the noises of the forest drowned out by his frantically drumming heart, he swallowed hard and looked around himself. He had known this day would come, known he would have to leave and find his own life, hadn’t thought it would be this soon.
With a determined sigh and padded forward slowly making his way through the trees, one paw, then the other, moving forward. Moving. Changing. Everything changing.

Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree. Rabbit. Tree. Sleep.
Wait, whats that? Riddick lifted his head and looked around himself, his head felt full of cotton wool, his mouth felt like it was full of pine needles ‘pleh’ he opened and closed his jaw, moving his tongue round his mouth, wow how long had it been since he stopped to drink? He shook his head dizzily as he tried to stand, with the wobbly legs of a pup he stood, head low and surveyed his surroundings, hmm, he didn’t recognise this place. He blinked a few times and lifted his ears which had previously been hanging either side of his head. Huh, he could figure out where he was later, what was that smell! Moving slowly he walked towards the scent for a while, it was strange, meaty but not food, cloying in his nose something sweet overlaying the smell of flesh and blood, such an odd mixture, where was this strange new land? The closer he got the more his nose tickled and he turned away, searching now for water, with no idea he was being watched.

Sarah’s Diary

Day One - Strange wolf watch. August 3rd 9 pm

Unimaginative title I know, but it is fitting. I’ve been out in the woods searching for wolf packs for the last three weeks and nothing. I Guess they’re all in hiding or something, oh I should put the date!

There all done, right now down to business. Seeing as its summertime I’m sure the wolves are just busy with their pups, keeping an extra low profile you see. Anyway I’ve been camping out in the forest, looking for wolves, kept a diary for that, cause I have to, even though I haven’t seen anything. Still this guy is so strange I just had to start keeping a separate diary.
I’ve only seen him once so far, he looked….disorientated, confused. No confused isn’t right, maybe lost is a better word for it. He was just wondering through the trees, he has a strange way of moving, flexible, quick, almost like fluid in motion, the way you would expect a cat to move, but not at the same time. He’s a beauty though, long legs, sleek coat, slim body. Not as chunky as most wolves we have up in these mountains, but then I suspect he isn’t from around here, our wolves aren’t grey they’re usually red or brown.
Oh this one though, I’ve never seen anything like him, he’s a beautiful shade of grey, with white round his eyes, a little on his chest and tail and bottom of the legs. It looks like he has some kind of, tribal like marking on his fore legs and round his hind ankles, and also what appears to be leather cuffs on his forelegs, near his paws. I would love to take a closer look at those strange markings on his legs, I’ve never seen anything like it before. Its seriously interesting. He’s is definitely a he too, if you catch my drift. Just so no questions arise there.
Anyway like I said earlier, I’ve only seen him once so far but I’m sure he wont be hard to track down seeing as he appears to be the only wolf active in this area. I must admit I am worried about that, the dwindling population seems to be getting worse year by year, im leaning on my theory of them being extra careful due to having pups to raise and train, mated pairs at least. I guess we’ll see come autumn.
I’m going to sign off for the night, it’s getting dark and I need to make camp, will update when I have more news.

Day Three - August 5th 4-30 pm

Well im back today, didn’t see the wolf yesterday, I think I’m going to name him though, seems weird writing about him as the wolf. Hmm, I think I’ll nickname him Sky, I saw him today and he was watching the clouds skid across the sky. So I think it suits. It was a beautiful morning today, really hot, but it started clouding over towards lunchtime, which is a shame, but interesting where Sky is concerned , he watched those clouds for about an hour, just laid in the grass uphill from where I was camped and watched. He looked…almost peaceful, I guess that’s the only way to describe it. He only moved when the wind picked up, I‘m pretty sure he caught my scent cause he turned and dashed into the forest pretty quick, I need to be more careful in future. There’s been no rain for a week or so, I cant follow him by his tracks, there aren’t any. I’m going to have to rely on scat tracking, not the easiest or nicest way to do it, but it’s the only way for now, I need to follow that wolf, Sky fascinates me, and I am sure if I can follow him I might have some chance of catching him. I have a few traps with me, just in case I found pups I could tag, but maybe instead I can concentrate on Sky.
He still seems lost today, he isn’t moving with purpose, that I can see yet, he appears to be alone but its only the second time I spotted him so he could be with a mate and I just haven’t seen her yet, I am doubtful about that though. I’ll keep following him and see what I can find out, hopefully it will rain soon!

Day seven- August 9th 8 pm

Whew, been a couple of days since I had anything to write in here, Sky dropped off the radar for a bit, I mean no signs of wolf life at all. No droppings or kills. I must admit I thought about giving up and heading back, I’ve been out for four weeks now and things were looking disappointing. Still I moved each day, going a little further just hoping, if I hadn’t found him tomorrow I was leaving the day after. Luckily I found him again this morning, and figured something out at the same time. While I kept moving I kept close to the river than runs through the forests here, water is essential in the summer heat so I didn’t want to risk running out of it, well looks like my little wolf pal is doing the same thing. That’s where I found him today, I was washing up at the river before cooking dinner and he was downstream from me. There was no wind but I wasn’t taking the risk. The trees stand about three meters back from the river bank here, so I crept back into the trees and climbed one, found a perfect spot half way up one of the larger oaks. I crawled along the thick branch and laid there, it was fascinating! Sky must be the cutest wolf I have ever seen, and I’m glad I got to share in his river activities. I’ve only ever seen him looking lost, or tired before, today he just looked happy for a while, splashing in the river and chasing the drops of water, if canines can grin he was going it.
He played for a long time in the water, leaping and twirling, chasing the drops and snapping at them, like he was trying to catch them. All of a sudden though he just took off, leaped out of the water and onto the back and took off like he had a monster at his heels. Still seemed to be in fun though, his tongue was hanging out of his mouth and he had his ears up. He almost seemed playful today.
I definitely have to keep after him now, he would make a great pet, though I might have to take him back to the lab, so we can look at those markings.
Its clouded over this evening, I’d just finished dinner and the weather started to turn, it was another nice day up till then. The winds picking up now as well so I am hoping it will rain, I’m in the tent already so I should be fine tonight.
Catch up when i have news.

Riddick

Rolling over onto his back in the grass Riddick looked at the blue expanse above him, he had discovered the strange source of the scent in a two legged animal, his old alphas had warned him of such creature so he knew this was a human. It seemed quite small and Riddick suspected it was female from what little he knew of the strange creatures. She had seen him twice, once when he was laying like this is the sun, once when he had been playing in the river. He had run away the first time but ignored her the second, she had slunk away into the trees anyway, he knew she was still there somewhere, he could smell her. He was having to much fun to stop though, he waved his tail slightly at the memory. It seemed harmless, he decided to ignore it and go about his day as he wished. He was wary of it though, humans had a bad reputation and could not be trusted, nor could anything else he decided getting to his paws and padding into the trees. From the way the sun switched sides in the sky Riddick suspected he had been moving in a zombie like trace for about two months, and he had no idea where he was. There didn’t seem to be other wolves here so he figured he was safe, as long as he kept an eye on the woman, and he hadn’t seen her for a few days, curling up in a hollow tree he rested his head on his paws and dozed.

Sarah's Diary

August 12th 10-30 pm

I found where he sleeps! I found where sky sleeps! I crept down there this morning and he was gone, so I set traps! Oh I’m so excited, I’m going to catch him I just know it. Though I have been thinking, how much will his pelt sell for! Natural markings like that, I’m going to be rich. If I can take him alive I would rather do that but I figure now if I have to shoot him I will, after all I cant risk myself just to save him. That would be silly. Anyway I’m camped just down river from him now, the breeze is blowing downwind so I think I’ll be safe here, I need to be close so I can hear if he traps himself.
Right, I need to be alert, updates as I can.

Riddick

Riddick weaved through the trees, he felt playful in the mid morning sun and was tempted to run, but he was hungry and knew he needed to eat first. He tilted his head to the side and howled quietly to himself singing for pleasure as he pranced and bounded across the soft ground. It had rained last night and the forest was alive with scent, Riddick held his nose high as he went, enjoying the fresh rain smell, the sun was back now and it would dry out soon. He paused his silent paws still on the damp earth, Rabbit. Ears back, head low, tail down he stalked through the thick trunks, shooting from the foliage as he saw the rabbit hop past, it was over quickly and Riddick settled down for lunch.
Cleaning his paws on the wet grass he felt energised, grinning he turned and sprinted for his tree, leaping over fallen logs and dodging low branches, his heart pounded as he ran.
‘Yow!’ he yelped as his paws were dragged from under him, his nose hit the dirt and he inhaled the forest floor, for a moment he lay there shaking breathing hard, and then the pain.
Like fire poured inside him, liquid flame eating at his leg, he let out a pained howl and struggled to his three working paws, turning his jaw hung in disbelief, something silver had him. Round his left hind paw, he pulled against it and it felt like he was being ripped apart, he threw his head back and yowled as fresh pin streaked up his leg, crimson blood dribbled from the wound staining the white of his fur red.
A new pain, sharp but tiny flashed in his side and he turned to the left, ready to snap at whatever was stinging him, he blinked and wobbled as his vision blurred, something red and fluffy seemed glued to his side. He blinked rapidly as darkness leaked into his eyes, he fought it, shaking his head but then the pain numbed, dull now it throbbed lazily, without realising it was happening his legs folded and he found himself on the ground, he laid his head down, so sleepy now and let the blackness have him.

Sarah’s Diary

August 12th 5-00 pm

Well I got him.
He’s all mine, and he’s alive!
Groggy at the moment, and I doubt he will be happy when he comes round fully but he’s alive.
It was a triumph darling, amazing, really it was, and he’s only cut his hind paw, its practically nothing.
I waited for about an hour before I heard rustling he must have passed me before he got caught, all I heard was the yelp of pain and I was on my feet like a rocket, I didn’t want him to suffer you see, so I darted him, he wasn’t struggling oddly enough, they always struggle, try and run. He seemed like he was figuring it out, trying to work out what was happening, he is defiantly going to be an interesting project. I’ve got him muzzled now, and tied to a tree outside the tent. Just to make sure he doesn’t bite me or try to run off. His leg is bandaged and cleaned so that should heal quickly, it wasn’t a deep cut, clever wolf didn’t struggle enough to get the wire right in the leg. Clever Sky.
He’ll wake soon, I keep checking on him but he’s only slightly aware, not fully awake, he’s curled up by his tree. I wonder if even in sleep he knows what’s happened.

Riddick

Ugh, where am I? Oh my head hurts, I need to sleep more…ouch! What’s that? Ohh my paw, what happened.
Oh, the human, the wire! Oh she hurt me good, ugh should have moved on, should have chased her off, should have been careful.
Need to get up, got to move.
Opening his eyes he squinted, the sun hadn’t set nearly enough to be gentle and hurt his eyes as he blinked. He kept still, unsure of himself and his surroundings, he raised his head and heard the chain clink together…what…he was trapped, his gaze followed the chain, attached to the tree. He let his head flop back to the floor, the muzzle rubbing his nose, he frowned, now what. Wiggling his nose he found the thing to be solid, he tried and failed to open his mouth. He sighed and lay still, he needed to escape somehow, he knew the woman had caught him, he just didn’t understand why.
‘Hey boy, your awake!’
Blinking he raised his head and growled lightly as she came nearer him, the fur on his shoulders rising he tried to crawl away.
‘Tuttut, naughty boy’ she smiled sadly and pressed a button sending a small shock through him, he yelped in surprised and stayed still. ‘you’re a quick learner’ she observed happily ‘we’re going to get on great!’
She reached out to touch him but something in his gaze stopped her, he was smart and she saw that now. He was not a wolf to be messed with. She smiled down at him and backed off, returning to her tent.

Darkness fell and Riddick lay under the tree, he couldn’t do much else but he was desperate for a drink, he blinked and looked up, he couldn’t see the stars through the trees here, but he could here the woman snoring. Animals passed him by, some pausing for a look, but he ignored them all, they couldn’t help after all.
He raised his head suddenly, his ears swivelled forward to try and catch the sound better, paws…there was something coming towards him. Suddenly a wolf appeared quietly through the trees, glancing at the tent she seemed at ease. She slowed as she neared him, lowering her head and grinning crookedly.
‘hey fella’ she said quietly moving around him and lowering her nose to his neck ‘good good, woven, I can get it off. Hey buddy, you gonna stay still while I chew this bad boy off you?’
Laying under her Riddick figured he was more or less at her mercy anyway so he nodded and moved his eyes across her, in the dark light she appeared to be white, black stripes flashed down her back and hind legs, she appeared to have hair that tickled his ears as she worked.
Her jaws worked side to side and she grunted a little as she chewed, Riddick realised she was gnawing through the collar that kept him tied to the tree, he stayed very still not wanting to mess her up or anger her and risk her leaving.
What seemed like hours in the tense setting was actually over in minuets, the females sharp teeth had made short work of the simple collar. He shook his fur our as he stood up next to her his bad paw raised off the ground, it still felt numb but he didn’t want to risk the pain.
‘Hang on quick paw, I gotta get that muzzle off yet’
Muzzle? Oh his head dealy, he lowered his head for her and breathed a sigh of relief as the horrible contraption fell away from his nose, he lifted his head and sucked in a deep breath.
‘Come on then, we gotta make tracks’ the female turned and trotted to the trees, looking back when she realised he wasn’t following ‘come one!’ she hissed.
With a deep breath he limped forward as quick as he could manage, following her through the trees on three legs.
‘Who are you?’ He whispered as they reached the river.
‘Whats it to you?’
‘You rescued me!’
‘Mmm, I guess that’s good enough. Names Razor, can you get across here? Its fairly shallow’
‘Sure’ He followed her down the bank and across the water, keeping his bandaged paw high above the water. ‘so Razor, where are we going?’
‘Home’

Sarah’s diary. Who cares what day.

He escaped, somehow he got loose. He’s gone, and I realised what I had done, I turned that beautiful wolf into a pet, a project, fashion.
I’m awful, I set out to help wolves and got consumed by greed, I’m going home, I’ve been out here too long, I need a bath.
Good luck Sky wolf, good luck.

Riddick

‘Oi!’
The loud yell startled Riddick from his thoughts and he looked up the hill he had not long ago come down. Standing and stretching he grinned.
‘Come on quick paw! The brats are doing my head in!’
All that time ago he had limped into a clearing, unsure and nervous and been greeted by a pack of misfits, a warm welcome from Kiah the pack founder he had been put slightly at ease, she asked him to remain with them until he was healed but explained the pack had very few rules and he was under no obligation to stay or go. This place was just a safe place for wolves and other canines to gather, rest if they were tired, recover from hurt, or just hide away. There were a few wild wolves, but most had escaped from humans, like Razor, and made there home here. Riddick had found it hard to start with, he was mistrustful and made friends slowly, now he was part of the pack though, happy to be with them and dedicated, like Kiah, to helping other wolves. Already his intelligence had been put to work tracking humans to help a young wolf.
Riddick chuckled lightly and looked towards the forest, sighing happily before making his way up the hill, back to his new friends, and Home.

Kennel:
P11.
Name:
Honey.
Breed:
Albino Snow Leopard.
Age:
2 years, 5 months.
Why do you want this animal?&What will you do for this animal?:
I would like Honey because I have fallen in love with her design. The faded markings, the jewery, her look. She would be a wonderful main character for me to use, along with my fursona and her sister. Something twigged within me the moment I saw her, like a string tying me to her. Snow Leopards are one of my favourite animals, and I find it interesting that she is an albino. I want to make up a story on how she got her bracelet and necklace, and what they mean to her. I will RP Honey and draw her, and I am quite good at drawing felines. I am on a Lion King Fan Art Archive, and will add her to my characters there, and upload pictures there, as well as on Deviantart. I shall try to get art of her, if I can find reasonable prices. I promise that if I cannot care for her or don't use her I will return her so she can find a forever home.
Personailty:
Honey is firery, mean and selfish, which comes from living around her older brothers. However, she will only be like this to the beings she doesn't like, or doesn't know very well/at all. When she is around friends, she settles into a calm state of mind, and would chat for days, and would carry on untill you ragged her away. Her necklace changes colour with her mood, and represents her aura. If you were in danger, she would fight until her last breath for you. As a young cub, she was inquisative and curious. She loved the sun and would bask in it whenever she could, as her pelt wasn't very thick. However, because she had two brothers, and was the runt, she was often bullied. This lead to her ferosious side.
Dislikes&Likes:
Honey loves the sun, and her mother. She loves to hunt, and will store food whenever she can, in case, when it is winter, she can't get any food. She hates her brothers and the summer, because the summer is so warm, she has to spend most of her day in her den, because of her thick coat. It doesn't help that the summers are getting warmer. Her favourite time of year is autum, when the leaves are changing colour and it is getting cooler. Because of the longer nights, she can hunt more, therefore saving more meals for a rainy day. If any of her friends where in danger of starvation, and she had food to spare, she would help them, by giving them some food. She hates her brothers because of what they did to her other, and would fight them until they died, if they ever dared to turn up in her territory.
Histroy/Backround:{5000 max,500 min}
I sniffed the air, only scenting the warm milky scents of my birth den. I was pushed one way, then another. I squeaked, by soft paw pads scraping on the rough floor, causing blood to stain the rock. This was horrible. It wasn't my fault I was small. My tiny claws tried to dig into the rock beneth my paws as I stuggled forwards, searching, craving the warmth of my mother's belly fur and the milk to sooth my tummy and thoughts. My tiny mouth latched onto the milk duct and I sucked. The scent of my mother filled my nose and I sneezed.

Crouching low, I kept my ears back as I took in every detail, my paw over my over to hide the sparkling bracelet. The pin-point precision, the speed, the careful causiousness, and leap, the killing bite. "Bet you couldn't do that." My brother sneered. "Could too!" I argued. "No, you couldn't!" My other brother joined in. "Fine. I'll go and do it. Right now!" I got to my paws and stalked away, my tail tip flicking irritably. I set eyes on my target and crouched low. Mucles slid smoothly under my dense coat. I edged closer and closer, then leaped, catching the male mountain goat by supprise. I wrapped my paws around it, then clamped my jaws on it's jugular. Moments later, it stilled. I had caught my first prey. My mother padded over, dragging her own catch with her. "Congratulations. You just have to perfect the technique, then you are able to live on your own."

Months later, I sat, looking at the mangled body at my paws, salty tears matting my furry face. It was slightly bigger then me, and the face was so mangled it was hard to tell who it was. Yet, I knew who it was, and who had done this. My brothers had reached sexual maturity. I had been trying to stay away from them, keeping to myself in the secret den I had found. Those idiots! How could they do this to her? What had she ever done to them? Nothing. She hadn't deserved this. Not after everything she had done to keep us alive. I turned to them, my lips pulled back, showing my glistening fangs. "Get. Out. Now." They were petrified, scared of what I would do. Little cowards. They turned and ran. "Good ridance." I growled to myself. I sat down, wrapping my tail around my paws, my wounds stinging from the fight with my brothers in a vain effort to save my mother. My plan hadn't worked. They'd killed my mother. Yet, I knew they wouldn't be coming back. Not now, not ever. They knew I would be waiting for them.

Other:{If there is anything left}
Is it okay if I have the necklace on her neck? I just think it might fall off her tail.

Kennel: P11

Name: Honey

Breed: Albino Snow Leapord

Age: 4 Years Old

Reason for Adoption:

I could not be happier with her design and her accessories intrige me (is there a reason beside her haveing them, as we will find out). I love leopards(especially snow leopards, they fascinate and astound me) and I feel adopting her would be quite an experience (she will be fun to write about a draw). She will find a loving and lasting home with me, and if i find I can no longer care for her I will bring her back so she can find another loving home--though I doubt this will happen. I will get art of her and she will be featured in many of my stories. I feel getting her will help me improve my spot drawing skills. I love her and hope my form will show it.

Personality:

She goes where she is needed, but she is most at home in her homeland of the tundra. She is feisty in spirit but has a soft side that is rarely shown. The only time she shows her soft side for close friends, cubs and the one she loves. Her heart is worn on her coler, or in her case the soul stone she wears on her tail. The stone changes colers with her moods and that is how you can best tell hows shes feeling. When she falls for someone its fast and deep. She may seem course in nature but she could turn out to be your biggest ally and friend. One who will stick with you through thick and thin and be a great ally when you need her.

Dislikes&Likes:

Honey most loves a long trusting friendship, but dislikes it when someone breaks that trust. Very raley does this happen however as her kind are very rarely trusting enough to get that close to someone. As an albino snow leopard his coat is thicker then most, so she doesn't like a great deal of heat, and in fact loves the snow alot. She doesn't like humans period, and if she comes in contact with one she will hiss and spit, may even roar to make them leave.

Histroy/Backround:

For Her soul stone which will shine diffrent colers in our story, sort of like a moonstone:

Anger: Red
Cunfusion: Orange/yellow
Fear and anitety: Violet
Irritation: teal
Sadness: pink
Confidense: sapphire

I ran, trying to escape the dark hunter that was chasing me. My small paws propelled me forward, as I desperately tried to reach my mother on time. I had seen this large leapord and thought it was my father, who had acctually died long ago in a fight. I had be wrong and If I didn't get to my mother soon I would die. My soul-stone glitter violet, showing my anxiety and fear. My gold bracelet glowed in the darkness, the only way I could see the dark shadow following me.

I heard a snarl ahead, and a shadow jumped past me at ther other. "Mommy!" I screamed in joy. She had come to my rescue her soul stone glinting red with anger. She lept at the other big cat and they went tumbling. I couldn't see the fight but I could hear it and it sounded fierce. Finally mother limped out of the darkness, her white fur stained red with blood. She may have won the fight but she wasn't long for this world.

That night was one of the worst in my life, as I lay by my mother's dying body I wondered how my life in this world alone would be. By morning her soul stone had grown dull, as had her light braclet, she was dead. It's not often that we mourn the loss of our parents but when we do we wont talk for days. My soulstone shone pink as I slowly left the body, the creature of the mountain would eat it. I roamed for sometime, staring at the ground until I came to my senses. Mother wouldn't have given her life so I could be stupid and mope like this. In fact if she had seen this she may very well have chased me off herself.

At that point I snapped out of it, I needed food and shelter. No-one could find it but me and I couldn't do that if I was moping. I looked around taking in my surroundings, the mountain I was on was perfect for my home, but did it have the prey to keep me feed. I looked around and saw hoof print leading of the side of the mountain, I followed them tracking the unsuspecting creature.

I came up to it about halfway down the mountain, eating grass unsuspecting on the fate that was about to befall it. I moved silently, skilfully into position, barley a twig moving as I slid into place. I leapt, jumping onto the your deers back, instantly crushing the spine. My first real catch, I was etreemly proud of myself and prayed for more such catches. Maybe I could survive? Maybe I could thrive out here, it was up to me now and I was ready for the challenge.

My time alone was full of misery but I got through it, became stronger. I learned to hide my soft side, and that helped a little. I was quite suspicious of everyone, and didn't want to trust anyone. I would of blocked off my emotions too if that would of helped, but with my soul stone that was impossible. The only ones who got to see my soft side was my close friends, and even then I didn't show them much. If I had so chosen I wouldn't have friends either, but I had decided to let a few in.

My first breeding season came and went, I didn't feel the need to have a family, nor did I want one. I hole up in my cave only coming out to ear and drink. I withstood it, I didn't wanna raise cubs to die as my mother had. Then I met him, he was handsome as a snow leopard could get. His named was, Art and I felt a deep connection towards him; and he towards me. I instantly knew if I did want cubs I would want to have them with him. That breeding season we mated, joining our lines forever. Our was a breeding of love, thus when I learned I was pregnant I was very happy. We would be having cubs, then I was saddened because I knew after a while Art would be leaving me forever.

My labor was a hard one, I think I almost died but I couldn't be sure. What I was sure of was that I had four healthy cubs when the pain finally subsided. I licked them and thought, 'Life is beautiful.'

My heart was bound to be broken, and as I looked into the golden eyes of Art I could tell our time was coming to a close. He would be leaving soon, and I would remain here to raise my cubs alone. Our love was but a fleeting dream, for a snow leopard can never truly love another.

Art:
I made some but i didnt get to scan it.
Other: If I get her I will continue her story X3
