Name: Tiger Eye
How would you use him/her: I would give him a loving home in my character page, with a note about him having hannescon's disease, I would also love to order art of him and make sure he is put to good use.
Define your Goennec:

Tiger Eye's parents were not quite happy to learn that their child was affected by hannescon's disease, they was not happy with him, but they loved him as much as any parent can love a child. Upon learning of his disease, his parents also learned that Tiger Eye was blind. Because of this, his parents were always overprotective. His parents were also affected by the disease, but not as severely. Tiger Eye's mother's symptoms were misshapen ears, stumpy or lack of horns, lack of tail, and she had a sturdy bone structure. His father's symptoms were lack of mane consistency, deafness, the inability to run, and increase intelligence. Although Tiger Eye had many more symptoms, he also had all of the positive symptoms. Despite his inability to see and his enlarged oral features, Tiger Eye was able to communicate and talk to others in an intelligent fashion. Tiger Eye's misshapen ears were facing different directions, giving him all around hearing, and there wasn't as much fur in them, allowing him to hear better. He was also strong and small, which worked as an avantage for him since he could hide easier than unaffected goennecs, his fur was also good camouflage. Tiger Eye was almost better equipped for living on his own than most goennecs.

Background:

Tiger Eye was born in a small burrow surrounded by trees, lush grss, and twindling, silver, cool rivers that held the marine life to be found in the area. Tiger Eye remembers the first noise he ever heard, which was the sound of a woodpecker's sharp beak penetrating the deep bark of a sycamore tree, echoing a redundant tap that droned out across the land for all to hear. Tiger Eye remembers learning about having his disease. He wasn't disspointed in himself for having it, for he knew that there was no use in that. He knew he would have to work hard to prove himself. He doesn't quite remember his childhood, but growing up, his parent's dissapointment became pride, especially after Tiger Eye defended his home.

Tiger Eye was sleeping in his burrow while his parents had gone to find food when his missahpen ears perked up at the sound of a deep growl from behind him. Tiger Eye awoke silently and perked his ears up a little further. Yes, there was something, he could hear the sound of paws tramping over the grass and dried leaves. Tiger Eye did not know what to do, this was the first time a potential enemy had approached without his parents being there. So he did what came from instinct, which was trying to bury himslef deeper into the ruins of the burrow. But after his vain attempt, Tiger Eye found that the enemy was coming closer.

Tiger Eye was panicking now, the enemy sounded close and it had started growling. It's growls sounded deep and low, like they were coming from a very large animal. This was the first time in his life when Tiger Eye wished he could see. He usually didn't mind his blindness, but he wanted to see what was approaching and try to hide from it as fast as possible without running into anything, which, becasue of his disease, was not fast at all. So he did the second thing that came to instinct, to either fight or make it seem like Tiger Eye was a big, fierce, bloodthirsty animal. So, Tiger Eye slowly breathed in and out until he felt he had enough air, and then he growled as loud an as deep as any animal could. This action surprisingly made him sound a lot larger than he really was. The next minute, Tiger Eye heard the enemy slowly slinking off to go terrorize some other creature. Tiger Eye was proud of himself, but his pride would soon turn into despair.

Since Tiger Eye had been occupied with defending his burrow, he had not heard the fight that was going on, and he didn't notice until he heard the deep, thoarty, threatening growls of a bear closing in on it's prey. Although, it sounded as though two goennecs were fighting against one bear. Tiger Eye wanted to rush and help, but he knew he would lose his life in doing so. So he crouched down in his burrow and waited, listening to the sounds of the fight. He could make out what each sound was, the yelp of a goennec, the sound of a bear trying to capture it's prey, and the sound of a goennec trying to injure the bear. It all seemed a bit unreal to him, the fact taht this was happening, and that it might happen to him someday. He knew he couldn't defend himself if a bear wanted to eat him. He was amazingly small compared to a bear, and he wouldn't even be able to see to defend himself. It would be a blind fight. Suddenly, the wretched sounds of the fight stopped, and Tiger Eye heard a the growl of victory from the bear.

Tiger eye was terribly sorry for the goennecs that had to fight the bear, that didn't have the choice of fleeing. "Tiger Eye!" He heard his mother call. "Mom! What happened." Tiger Eye was curious about what she was so worried about. He heard his mother panting, and it sounded like she collasped on the ground next to him. "Tiger Eye, your father and I got in a fight with a bear. It saw us and we didn't hear it, so it easily caught us off gaurd, and we had to ight it the best we could, for it would've caught us if we had fleed, but I'm so happy your still alive. I thought it'd come after you next!" Tiger Eye came into the realization that the fight he had heard was the fight his parents had just been in. Then he remembered the growl of victory from the bear, and he realized that his father was not there. "Mom, whe-wher-where's dad?" Tiger Eye inquired in a shaky voice. "Tiger Eye, your father died protecting his family from the bear." She said quietly. Tiger Eye started sobbing, and he suddenly got the urge to find the bear and have a fight to the death. He didn't feel like he needed revenge, and he wasn't angry at the bear, but he felt that it was something he had to do. "Mom, where's the bear?" "He's about fifteen yards north of here bu- Tiger Eye? Why do you want to know?" But Tiger Eye didn't answer, for he was walking away to fight the bear as fast as one could that has hannescon's disease.

Tiger Eye could hear the bear romping about, probably in the mood to terrorize some goennec. Tiger Eye tried his best to locate the bear, he tried tracking it by sound and smell until he came to the towering creature. The bear hadn't seemed to notice Tiger Eye just yet. Tiger Eye found that the bear was turned away from him, so he could easily bite it's leg before it slaughtered him. So Tiger Eye licked his sharp teeth, which were bigger and stronger because of his disease. Then he bit deep into the flesh and bone of the bear's right back leg. The bear roared in agony, Tiger Eye could tell that the wound was sprouting blood, but he wasn't satisfied just yet. The bear didn't know what had happened, he looked around, but didn't seem to see the small, brave goennec that was prepared for the bloodshed of his life. The wound Tiger Eye had placed upon the bear made the bear tumble down onto the ground, still dazed and confused about what happened. The bear still didn't see Tiger Eye, even though he should've smelled him by now, but it wasn't the time for Tiger Eye to worry about a bear's medical disabilities, so Tiger Eye slowly climbed onto the bear's back, who was still lying on the ground. This, the bear noticed, who was flailing his paws at Tiger Eye, who was slowly extending his mouth to the bear's neck, where a fatal bite could ened his life. Just before he reached the bear's neck, a massive paw struck Tiger Eye and sent him falling to the ground, where he was an easy target. The bear stood up and went in for the kill.

The bear's massive paw had almost reached Tiger Eye when a female goennec crashed into the bear, amking him fall down. the female goennec was his mother. Tiger Eye then tried to find the bear's body, so he could finish his task. Tiger Eye's mother was gnawing at the bear and scratching his face. "Tiger Eye! Go home!" His mother shouted. "No, Mom, I refuse to walk away from this fight!" Tiger Eye finally reached the bear's nack, and bit deep into the veins and flesh of it. The bear stopped thrashing for a second, then began thrashing wildly. In the process, Tiger Eye was knocked into a tree, giving him a huge gash across his back from the bear's paw, and breaking most of his ribs. "Tiger Eye!" His mother raced over to him. Tiger Eye tried to sit up, but the pain was too intense. "Mom, the bear?" "Honey, the bite you gave that bear in the neck has injured him beyond repair, he will die soon, but it's you I'm worried about. "Mom, goodbye." "What? this is not goodbye, Tiger Eye, you have to live, you can't leave me!" "Mom, you know I can't live through my injuries, I'm sorry." "Tiger Eye?" "Goodbye, mom, I love you, and I will miss you deeply." And with that, the brave goennec obsessed with saving his family closed his eyes and went off to paradise.

Epilogue:

Tiger Eye faintly remembers the trip to paradise. He remembers how his wounds were somehow healing as he seemed to float off into the air.

When he first arrived, he was in his burrow, sleeping next to his parents. In the next moment, Tiger Eye realized he could see. What? I thought my father was dead, and I thought I was dead. Tiger Eye was puzzeled for a few moments, so he crawled out of his burrow."Where am I?" Tiger Eye asked aloud. "You, my dear goennec, are in paradise, you died defending your family, so you are entitled to spend all eternity here." Tiger Eye turned towards the sound. There, standing before him, was a huge white goennec surrounded by a golden glow. "I-I-I can see?" Tiger Eye asked, puzzled. "Yes, young goennec, you were gifted the ability to see after your death. "Wow.' That was Tiger Eye could say. Tiger Eye later leaned that in this paradise, he could be wounded, no scratch or fracture could be placed upon him. He could have everything he ever wanted. Everything is perfect.

Everything is perfect, forever.
