This is the MYO Competition! Where you make your very own
Batpony, and apply them to become one of Lunare's Royal Guards!
All batponies entered in this competition have a chance to become one of
the Royal Guards, but only the lucky four + one Lunar Guard will be chosen!
Anyone may enter, and those who do not win will keep their batponies nonetheless.
Those who do win keep their batponies, but they will now be official Royal Guards
and will be used in further Lore! The Lunar Guard will be added to NPCs, but the winner
of that position keeps their batpony nonetheless.

Royal Guards only wield one type of basic magick! Fire, Earth, Water, or Air. They nearly
embody the element of their choice, and focus all their energy on using it to defend the Magister.

Any batpony not in the Royal Guard may then change their magick type and use any and all types they wish!

Please keep designs on the lines only, but you may add any number of details you'd like to the
MYO lines! You MAY change the eyes/facial expressions!
You may only make one entry, please make it count~!

Deadline for entries; DECEMBER 5th, 9PM EST

The four members part of the Royal Guard will receive 100C$ apiece, while the Lunar Guard will receive 300C$ grand-prize.
All other entries, at the end of the contest, will receive 50 C$ + WL pets!

Please ensure that you fill this form out to qualify your batpony for Royal Guard positions!
Keep in mind this is not a design contest, BUT a writing competition! Your design skills do not
matter as much as your creative writing skills do!

You do not have to have a starter pony to enter, this can be your first pony if you want!

The "Guidelines/Tips" folder goes over what I expect of the lines, as well as general advice for creating and entering your lines. The "Species Ideas w/Sketches" folder includes my species ideas that I have already sketched an example of. These sketches are just a baseline to reference- feel free to altar whatever. A final folder, called "Species Ideas w/out Sketches" are written forms of my species ideas. Hello and Welcome!

I am looking for 4 backgrounds, all but one sarafi themed. one can be an artistic choice. These are to be landscapes.
Please do not touch or color the species lines, leave them alone.
This will not end until I have enough entries, a deadline will be announced when I do.

Prizes will include : These prizes are for those who have completed the 4 background requirement.

1st : 1,000 CS$ and a full custom to your liking, and the backgrounds be used.
2nd: a full custom and/or 250CS$

If a winner is chosen without the use of the backgrounds. .

EDIT: If you read through this and are interested, but the prize isn't worth it comment on this thread with what pet(s) from my trades would make it worth it.

I need a set of bird wings and a set of bat wings to use for a future closed species (got SkyGold's permission!). I want to offer Bat and Bird anthros for the species and therefore need a set of wings because that's one of the things I cannot draw to save my life.

Prize(s):

The winner will receive the True Date 2008 Tess BDay dog linked below.
The winner may choose other rares from my trade group at the end of the contest for additional wing styles entered beyond the bird/bat if they so choose. (Aka: I want to give more pets and I'm not trading much right now, but I have to give a specific prize per the rules, so this is just a bonus gift? A tip?)
All participants will receive pet or item gifts of my choice.
If a non-winner decides to make their wing edits available to the CS community they will receive an additional prize of my choice to promote sharing.

Guidelines:

Wings should not exceed the space to the left or right of the two example lines.
Wings can be either off the the shoulders or part of the arms.
Wings should be 'full sized' and proportional to the character as much as possible.
Wings should not cover up significant portions of the base creature.
Both a set of bat wings and bird wings must be present for an entry.
Additional wing sets can be added, the winner of the contest will receive additional payment for those wings.
Your entries should be visible. If wing cannot be easily displayed you may give me editing access.
Your wing layers should be clearly labeled.
You may not remove or alter any other layers - except to move the signature if necessary.
Make sure SkyGold's signature is clearly visible in your entry if any of their lines are shown.
If you win you understand that I will be using and modifying the lines for a closed adoptable species. You get your choice of a starter pack once the species is finished (and a preview if you want).

(Bats really only have one wing type from what I can see....)

Hey guys! I'm making an asian lung inspired Goblin Gator and I'm kinda stumped on the design. This base is close to his edits! The main differences are his teeth, closed eyes, stick/black limbs and a mane that goes down his back to his tail. Here's a preview of him.

Now I'm mostly looking for a white base with rainbow designs. I love spots, stars, swirls, arrows and stripes with a bit of airbrushing, but not required. Bonus points if you add the edits or do custom lines! Please make the design not too complicated as I plan to transfer it over to my official lines. I prefer simple over complex. Here's an example of an old design I did that I really like! ^-^

Update: Another design I like that I did. One of my MYO Kalons, except his base is blacks instead of whites!

Here's the prizes for those who place:

- A very rare MYO of my species (which can be found here. We're more active on discord.)

I've been on the lookout for a new creepy crawly character for a while, and have yet to find one. So I figured a lil character comp might be a good idea!

The grand prize is 500C$, though I may go through and buy a couple other entries for 100C$ or so as runner-ups as well.
(This prize is subject to increase in value if multiple high-quality entries are posted. The amount will not decrease. I will not close without awarding a winner.)

I have a lot of stuff on here and I’m super inactive, so I’ve decided to host a contest to get something out of it.

There will be 2 winners, first place will get 8k c$ and second will get 5k, and these pets first place second place.

I have no preference wether the character is anthro/feral/humanoid/etc, whatever you’re comfortable with works.

I've been wanting to make this competition for several weeks now and I finally got around to doing it

I'm horrible when designing characters for myself, but I really want at least one anthro bunny character to help me improve my anthro art (and also because I think they're adorable).

So, some rules:
- Can't draw anthros? No problem! The bunny you see on the cover can also be used as a base if you'd like to design something on top; just don't remove my sig and don't use it outside of this competition
- If you make a design and fall in love with it and want to keep it, that's fine, just let me know in the description (you may not keep designs that you make on the base I have provided unless you transfer it to a different base)
- Follow CS rules
- Be patient and respectful towards myself and others
- Offsite entries are allowed; please post them in the replies or PM them to me
- You may use a base as long as you credit the base artist (though custom-lined entries would be preferred)
- After the comp ends, I will choose 3 entries and whichever entries I choose will belong completely to me; please give me a place to credit you for the entry's creation in the description of, at least, your first entry
- You will always be credited for the design of the entry of your's I choose, no matter if there are any changes made
- You must be okay with changes being made to your design(s)

Are we allowed to do the basic bunny on Oekaki then add a glitch effect off Oekaki? (I only know how to do glitch effect with 1 tool and Oekaki doesn't have that tool)

For as long as she could remember, Seraphine had been utterly fascinated by the royal guard. Being the curious little filly that she was, she spent hours watching their patrols and even begging to accompany some of the guards on their rounds of the castle. Some would gently say no while others welcomed the little one with gentle amusement, she'd often pause to scribble something down in her ever-present notebook before dashing to catch up as fast as her little legs could carry her. To some, it might have seemed odd, the way she scribbled in that little book as day and day out she darted around after the guard ponies. But to Seraphine it was everything.

It was decided when she was old enough that Seraphine would be allowed to attend the guard academy, a decision that greatly excited the young filly. To say they'd never seen her bounce that high or that much before was an understatement. Of course, Seraphine was thrilled with this opportunity and threw herself into literary studies, and training both physical and magical. At first, she struggled a little with the magical side of things and was about average in physical training and literary studies. It wasn't as if she was slacking off, it was just a little more difficult than she'd imagined but Seraphine wasn't about to give up. For she was that determined that she threw herself into working as hard as possible without taking on too much and though her pace was steady? Bit by bit Seraphine gradually improved. Never top of her classes but certainly in the higher end of things.

About two months late, but this contest has officially ended! Thank you all so much for your entries.

Hey guys!

I designed myself a little species called Starfoxes, though that name is up for discussion.
I want to make them an on-oekaki species but unfortunately am pretty untalented on oekaki so I'm looking for someone
to create me some pretty lines.

Before I get into the specifics, let's talk about the prizes!
The winner gets 500C$ and ten pets of their choice of this group.
Second place gets 15 pets of their choice of the remaining pets.
Third place gets 10 pets of their choice of the remaining pets.
The other pets will be given to people whose entrants I also liked, but not enough to win.
Everyone will receive at least a little prize for the effort put into entering.

Also, each of the three winners will receive a MYO of the highest rarity available [rarity not decided yet as the species isn't that fleshed out so far] and be offered an official artist position upon launch.

Since the lines you will be drawing are for my species and based on my concept, I will be keeping them all and you may not reuse them for anything else. I'll make sure that every participant receives at least a little something for their efforts, though!

This competition ends on September 15th, but may be extended or shortened based on the number and quality of the entries.

What I require:
Clean and cute adult and cub lines [No need to complete or trace mine if there are any inaccuracies
or things that can be improved, feel free to adjust anything!]
Different fur lengths, at least two
Different mutations, the most drastic also visible on the cub lines [see the mutations I sketched,
not all required, but the more the better]
Reference for eyes, nose, and paws
Possibly backgrounds and a cover
Alpha-locked coloured layers, ideally sorted in folders

Sketches I already made:

This is a rough idea! Feel free to change the pose and anatomy to something you think fits better, please just keep the stars on the thigh and the tails, and also over the eye.

Feel free to change some mutations or, ideally, add your own ideas!

All you need to do is make a Lined and Coloured base for my species, the Ziastaii.
