this one was fun, if.... chaotic. I didn't really approach it with a plan so it turned out as a bit of a mess but oh well, haha

still playing with this painting style. it really is quite jolly and, as a plus, eliminates my least favorite drawing stage (lineart).

wanted to do a quick value study in this style and thought this mine vs yours meme would be a good candidate!! these memes seem chill for doing quick and dirty drawings like this

I rarely do greyscale studies because my normal drawing style is so colorful it's literally eyeblinding and I was pretty sure I had a decent understanding of values. drawing this made me realize I actually don't use super high value (light/white) colors to their fullest extent.

tryna explore this painting style some more, I really like drawing in it because it's so chill. I'll probably do a few more of these memes with that in mind?? sure
