Prompt: Lylla loves waking up in the spring extra early in the morning and beating her handlers to her goal line of the pastures, she makes a break for the fence's edge and squats down as low as she can, creeping up to stick her nose through the fence and get a whiff and glimpse at the newborn animals and their families in the woods surrounding the ranch. Her favorite thing about it is that sometimes they're just as curious about her as she is about them, having touched noses before with baby deer or being paid a visit by possums with their babies clinging to their tummies and backs. While she's been scared away from her spot before by other animals making sure she's not planning on coming any closer to their young, she still lingers to try to catch a look at the wild babies as its never deterred her for long. Lylla also enjoys spending time with the spring babies around the ranch as their families are used to her presence and they're usually willing to play with her, though she still wishes she could frolic with the baby deer that she sees in the distance!

Of course, the aftermath of such an adventure is a rather vocal protestation as the mud is removed by hose or in the bathtub at the end of the day, but there's always mud to be found in the springtime.
