A voice calls to you, from a place you’re not quite sure existed until now. “Come to me…” It sounds equal measures familiar and strange, soothing and frightening. It beckons you through the garden and you feel a sense of warmth at its pull. “I have missed you for so long…” Is it really one singular voice? You cannot stop your feet from moving towards it. You find a moment to muse. Perhaps, it is many voices blended together. Something tells you that you should answer its call, although you haven’t a clue as to why. Something tells you not to answer the call, but you shrug it off. The reward will outweigh the risk.
