Story/Joke: One Halloween, I fell on the sidewalk and scraped my arm. I was a witch or some other kind of costume, so it ripped at the sleeve. I pretended to be a zombie creature for the rest of that night lol. I got extra candy and some big candy bars too >:)

Story/Joke: one year we were trick or treating in a neighborhood we hadn't lived in very long, and we walked by a house that had what we THOUGHT was a slenderman model sitting in a chair holding a bowl of candy. i think i noticed it was a man in a slenderman costume before my 4 younger siblings, who did not seem notice until they were at the bowl getting candy, which is when the man moved. he even scared my mom who hung back on the sidewalk, it was hilarious and definitely my favorite house.

Story/Joke: When I was younger, I could never decide on just one idea for a Halloween costume, so oftentimes I'd end up being some weird mash-up of 2 or 3 different things. I think my weirdest one I ever did was a "furry death fairy." I had wolf ears and tail, a dark fairy outfit (complete with wings of course) and for some reason I was just so dead set on getting this weird saw-machete weapon prop. I'm sure there were plenty of other bizarre combinations, that's just the one I remember most. c':

Story/Joke: One year I decided to go as a witxh to a halloween party, complete with feather accents on my cape of hat. What I didnt realize is that the feathers were continuously molting off, leaving a trail around the house. I took it in stride crying out in dramatiz wizard of oz style: "I'm molting! Moooolting! Oh what a world!"

Story/Joke: A few years ago, my little sister and I had our own Diary of a Wimpy Kid experience on Halloween. There had been some kids tp-ing the houses in the neighborhood and our uncle had enough. He decided that if they came to our own house, he would throw water balloons at them as a sort of 'trick'. My little sister [dressed as a mummy with her homemade costume of using toilet paper] wanted to come home early and was unraveling her costume in our driveway when our uncle attacked. All he saw was two kids and toilet paper, he just started throwing water balloons. It's always been a joke in our family now whenever I take my sister trick-or-treating.

Story/Joke: So this is a story from one of my first Halloweens, when I was just a little child. My parents had dressed me up as an angel, and my Dad was there with me. We had already finished trick-or-treating and I was probably on a sugar rush from all the candy I'd eaten. We were outside looking up at the stars and I told my Dad to pick me up high so that I could touch a star. He lifted me into his arms, and I tried to reach, but I just couldn't. So, trying to humor me, he lifted me onto his shoulders. I reached and reached but still couldn't touch a star! Long story short, he even tried to hold me up like Simba but I ended up throwing a fit because he "wasn't trying hard enough"... Yeah, I was a difficult kid!
