The Hero of Time (2.0)

Hero checked himself in the mirror, doing a quick mental check of his costume:
Green tunic? Check
Green hat? Check
Sword? Check
Shield? Check
Little fairy bobble & the hearts over his head? Check

The sword and shield weren't accurate but the idea was the important thing, right? It's possible that not everyone would recognize him as the Hero of Time, but he was happy enough with it, especially as a last minute costume he'd just thrown together.

He grabbed his bag and stumbled for a second as he juggled everything. The couple of rolled up pieces of paper were a bit awkward, but it helped it look better than just an empty bag for candy. Right? He hesitated a moment, but then shook his head at his silliness. It didn't really matter as long as he got candy!

He sprinted for the door, calling out, "Alright, see you later!"

He heard Mom call out something about being careful, but he was already out the door and looking around in excitement. Where to go first? He ran to the first house he saw, not even paying attention to the decorations as he knocked on the first door and called out loudly, "Trick or Treat!"
