RULES

- Follow all CS rules.
- Be patient, the Founders are free and take time and Artists can make adopts at their own discretion.
- Please make a thread / toyhouse or archive for your Clan/Tribe/Group
- You can adopt as many cats as you want. They will always belong to you. the designs, once adopted, are yours You may use them wherever you want, even as fursonas if you really wanted.
- In the ARPG the traits / looks / gender / personality of the cats are randomized; While the Gender may be changed to fit your story/character better, the Personality does not get changed nor can you request specific traits, it is randomized.
- Everyone can run their Clan / Tribe / Group however they want, do not bash people for their choices.

A B O U T

Stars Guide Us is based of the Clangen game found on the internet.

Using a randomizer people can adopt / create Clans,Tribes or differently labeled cat Groups.
Everybody gets one FREE founder that is randomized and is the leader of their Clan / Tribe / Group.

By default the Cats will be labeled as:
- Leader
- Deputy
- Medicine Cat
- Warriors
- Apprentices (Med cat & Warrior)

Users are encouraged to customize their clans however. You may change the rank within the story of your clan!
For example you may add ranks, have multiple Deputies / leaders.

"What does my randomized cat get?"

The cats you get, even the Founders, are randomized up to the name.
They will get:

- A Name [ Kit name - Apprentice name - Adult name - Leader name]
[A Tribe name will be added as well based on the clan name they get.
Example: Finchfeather -> Feather of Finch floating in the breeze ]
- Looks [Coat length, markings & color - Eye color - Tail length - random mutations
- Rank [Mentioned above]
- 3 personality traits [A LONG list is available to make interesting characters]
- 3 Skills [1 Guaranteed good - 1 Good OR BAD - 1 Guaranteed bad]

GETTING CATS

There is different ways of gaining cats, you may chose to apply for any of the open adopts on the thread for the adoptable cat.

FOUNDERS

A Founder may only be requested once and everybody can request one free one.
You fill in the following form to request a founder when Founders are open to be requested:

ARTIST RULES

The most important rule for Artists is: Have fun.
The second most important rule is: Follow the Randomizer.

Now I am not going to be super strict about it.
You may absolutely change some things such as, make the markings not super realistic and add some fun patterns.
If the Randomizer gives you a cat you feel is too boring, you may absolutely add stuff like minor scars / tail edits / Line-art edits as long as they don't go against your randomized cat.

You may absolutely add fun fur edits or markings, we encourage it even.
You want to lean into the personality and edit the facial expression / eye shape? Go ahead
You want to lean into the name it got and make the markings match the name? Absolutely!

Just respect the Randomizer to the best of your abilities while having fun.

STORY

So you want to get random story beats and a chance at free cats due to a story beat for your clan?
Look no further, we have this as well!
The story beats are not always open, but when they are, you can request a story beat from the admins, they will give you one.

You can Opt in / Opt out of cat deaths, however for the story, the drama can get quite intense!
Your story will be using randomized story beats and has a small chance to gain you free cats.
This chance is higher if the user has an opt-in for the death option.

The option for a cat to die is rare, but if you are opted into this chance, it is possible.
This does NOT mean that you lose your cats design. it is STILL yours, but for a little story, it can get fun / dramatic.
