- Guidelines for using the nursery:
- Up to Three Chicoon can participate in a breeding at a time (the breeding will count as 1 breeding slot on each parent)
- Chicoons cannot have any level of an incestuous relationship, chicoons being bred together cannot be related to any extent. if by mistake this rule is broken the children will become fake chicoons unusable in the species. they will not be allowed to be transferred out of the species, and will not be able to become real.
- Young designs can be grown 2 weeks after the breeding is revealed. Growths can be done by anyone, chicoons staff or not! Growths can be offered in exchange for payment, trade, or free there is no limitation on price.
- Artists and Nursery artists can offer breedings for any amount of currency or payment. There is no limit besides the minimum 2 free as an 'active' artist
- There is no anatomical differences between parent chicoon, expressive gender doesn't change if a breeding can occur.
- Chicoons can probably have up to 4 eggs at a time!
- mutations or specific traits cannot be requested by an artist, we have a program that rolls traits (including mutations) generally we follow that.
- A user can enter for every other free breeding slot. If you participated in a breeding by the artist who posted open slots before the current artists' slots you must wait for another artist to open breeding slots in order to participate in another breeding, whether you post the form- or you have someone else post the form for you!
- Chicoons are an LGBT+ safe area, homophobia of any level will not be tolerated
- The ownership of a chicoon cannot be transferred via sale, trade, or gift if a chicoon has a breeding pending.
- If for some reason the users participating in a breeding can no longer pay for the ticket slot, but the breeding has been finished; the breeding will remain covered and pending, the breeding slots from the parents will be consumed, and the participants of the breeding are blocklisted from using the nursery until the payment is received. (trading this chicoons will not be allowed as they have a pending breeding)
- a breeding can be nulled/voided by a moderator by staff request.

- the chicoon has not been grown or transferred off of nursery lineart (or lineart initially intended to be a child)
- The chicoon has not been approved or has a pending form on the archive thread (including chicoon trades, sales, or item forms!)
- The chicoon is PPS
- The chicoons has a lineart base smaller than 240x240 pixels. (a chicoon with moderate edits or complex designs may need a larger reference, it is up to the artist accepting the form's discretion)
- A chicoon has a pending breeding or has had a breeding revealed within the past 2 weeks.
- A chicoon has an obstructed reference, for example if the chicoon is covered in accessories or clothing they will need to be removed for the nursery ticket.
- the chicoon has participated in 6 other breedings!
a Chicoon cannot breed if...
A nursery artist will post here when they decide to open breeding slots! (example) then they will post explaining which form they've accepted or why your form hasn't been accepted! (example) An artist will use either our breeding program, or manually roll via a dice bot, in order to dictate the number of babies in a breeding and which traits the baby will receive from the parents! these rolls will naturally include mutations, pps chance, and other unique instances in breedings!
