I wanted to make a species, so i made this species concept, but i wanted to see if y'all would be interested before i made it an actual species! Here it is:
Their name is Slink-a-dinks, and they're little animatronic toys usually sold at arcade prize booths for tickets! They have small LCD screens for eyes, and slinky necks. They're mostly made out of cheap fabric and plastic, and they're powered by 1 AA battery.
Their normal form (the one to the left) is 3 inches tall. Their slinky neck is contracted, which is what makes this form so small. In this form, their pupils are big and round, with a pie-cut on them. If you pull their antennas or tail while on their normal form, they'll switch into their jumpscare form (the one to the right).
Their jumpscare form is 7 inches tall. When this form is activated, the neck and tail quickly bounce up, jumpscaring you (hence the name). The fur tufts on their head perk up, their plastic claws are exposed on their front paws, they open their mouths, and their pupils turn into slits. They also play a "boing" sound when the form is activated. The time they stay in their jumpscare form is random, so they can stay in their jumpscare form anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes.
Some more bits of info on them:
What do you guys think?

Some more bits of info on them:
- They have small infrared sensors in their nostrils, so when they sense another Slink-a-dink, they "communicate". (in quotes because their communication is basically playing cartoon sounds randomly to eachother)
- Slink-a-dinks do have claws on their back paws, but the majority of them have a glitch where they only expose their front claws when switching into their jumpscare form. Some Slink-a-dinks have been tweaked to fix this glitch, but they're hard to come across.
(i'll probably add more to this list later!)
