An Orbit is a lion-like creature with cats' ears and whiskers, a short tongue, and lots of fluff! Scientists have been studying these seemingly docile creatures for a while and they have been deemed as unlikely to harm humans, although it is illegal to keep them as pets. They have Orbs in their bodies and on the ends of their tails that hold a liquid. The Orbs are made of unbreakable glass and Orbits are born with them. Strangely, since they have been taken into captivity, they have been noticing a far wider variation in pattern and orb shape, seemingly depending on where they are released.
