Nursery Rules

◼ Basic rules apply
◼ All clutches are rolled for on a random generator
◼ The chances of more eggs decrease when rolling
◼ You may not sell the babies
◼ Please pay attention to when slots are open, and only post accordingly.
◼ You get 5 strikes. if you ignore the rules, are rude, or complain about clutches, you get a strike
◼ 5 strikes you're banned from the nursery
◼ You may gift or readopt the babies!
◼ Babies can be grown in 1 month of being claimed
◼ There is a breeding cooldown of 2 weeks
◼ SC can currently breed 7 times(may change later)
◼ ONLY STAR CATCHERS OF THE SAME SPECIES MAY BREED UNLESS THEY ARE TAMED
◼Tamed SC may breed with any sub species, and can create they Hybrid sub species!

Notes

◼ With each batch, there is a small chance of mutation
◼ This chance increases if they are inbred
◼ Possible negative mutations due to being inbred can include;
-Blindness
-Deafness
-Deformed/extra/missing limbs
-Stillborn
◼ The chances of negative mutations increase with each inbred generation

◼Most of the time, mutations however are just strange colours that neither parent showed dominantly, or different horns when grown (for any more drastic mutations, artists must clear it by me first.)

oh look an actual forum. ANYWAY
There are 2 ways SC can breed. with one partner, or with two.
With one partner, only SC of the opposite sex can breed unless one of two items are used:
Artificial Embryo(for 2 males breeding)
or
Syringe(For two females breeding)

The other way is with 2 partners. here, the combination can be anything, so long as there is 1 SC of the opposite sex unless an item is used.

1 Partner

With 1 partner, the SC have a good relationship and their clutches commonly range from 1-3 eggs, though there have been seen as many as 5

2 Partners

In the case of two partners, the breeding pair must have a good relationship with the third party. These clutches can range from 2-4 eggs though as many as 6 have been seen
