i chose to represent the kelp forest ecosystem for this one
did you know:
-kelp forests are just like forests on land, except they're underwater.
-kelp is used in many everyday products, like shampoo and even ice cream!
-these submersed forests in california, specifically catalina island, have special fish called garibaldi, which are a bright orange color
and are very territorial. they're also the state fish!
-the leopard shark also featured in this dressup can grow up to 4-5 feet long and help mantain a healthy ecosystem by eating its
share of prey, just like the rest of its inhabitants
