- can run on shifting sand and across snow with ease

The Council of Warlords
- meets twice every year when the triple moons are full
- each hoard sends one representative with their warlord, typically a hunter
- discuss the happenings in their hoards such as newborns, deaths, injuries, prey migration
- hunting grounds can be redrawn and main camps can be relocated accordingly
Habitat
- liked the deserts in the south before the land was laid waste to
- moved up into the grasslands of the central plain
- made pacts with the dao to share the hunting grounds
- rarely seen, even when hunting or gathering
