NEW YEARS EVENT?!

Happy New Years!
Happy belated New Years! If you haven't read the main even thread, please do so here. As a quick recap: the purpose of this event is to thank someone who has helped, inspired, or provided support in some way to you! You will not be applying to adopt these galvanis yourselves! You will be nominated someone else who will win the galvani (think of it like a gift). The person you nominate does not have to be a friend. It can be someone who's art or designs inspire you. It can be a person that sent you a gift or a good trade. IT can even be a stranger who you see as a friendly party of the community! I n fact, we highly encourage everyone to help one another out during this event. We will not be judging based on your reason for being thankful, as this is not a competition of popularity or who's the nicest per se. All winners, for all 8 galvanis, will be chosen via random number generator. 5 of these galvanis will only be available for nominated people who are non-owners. The other 3 will be available to any nominated person, whether they have a galvani or not.

RULES

To make things as fair as possible, a set of rules has been put in place. This is what you, as someone nominating someone else, needs to know. A full list of rules for applying is posted in the main even thread here with examples if you are confused or need more clarification. There is also an FAQ here.

ϟ You cannot nominate yourself.

ϟ Check the archives here to ensure you know if the person owns a galvani or not. Some galvanis can only be won by non-owners!

ϟ Search the thread to make sure the person you want to nominate has not been nominated already for the same galvani. If they already have, you cannot nominate them a second time (if you miss your name and nominate them again, there is no penalty; they will just be counted as one nomination).

ϟ Every individual person can only be nominated for up to FIVE galvanis. Search the thread of each galvani to make sure the person you want to nominate has not already been nominated five times. If someone is nominated on more than five galvanis, only the first give nominations that were posted will be counted.

ϟ You, as someone nominating other people to win, can nominate as many people as you'd like. Just be sure the person you nominate follows the second and third rule (the two rules right above this one).
