Owls were a big thing in my life growing up. It started with it being the mascot of my elementary school. It being the mascot, they would teach us about owls, and the feathered creatures would eventually grow on me. I love owls. The first time I saw an owl in real life was in a park near a playground. It was a very woody area, and there are huge, thin trees. It was in the late autumn, so there weren't too many leaves. I remember seeing a white owl with specks of grey and black staring at me. It was so cool.
