Feedback please.

Postby Loranga » Wed Jul 12, 2017 9:31 am

So I've been working on this today, and would like some feedback on how I should continue with it.
Is there anything I should change? Anything I should add? Every feedback is apreciated. :)

I'd also like to get some tips on how to color in Oekaki... It's kind of annoying xD

The dragon looks wonderful!

TIP: If you want to color, make sure the color layer is under the line-art layer. Then, color the areas you want colored in any color. You can press lock-alpha from there and it makes it much easier for coloring. If you need a tip on shading then I'll PM you!~

Thanks! :D
I already knew the layer thing, but I'll make sure to use the "lock-alpha" from now on lol xD
I'd love tips for shading! Feel free to PM me what you've got ;)

Its amazing!
I have some tips to give as you continue!
For the depth, apart from shading, you should make the details kind of fade as you go further back. (Like the tail end of the dragon should have blurry-ish scales instead of large distinct ones while the ones on the head should be detailed and small)
Also, if you have the eyes a cold color, they will "pop" more and draw the viewer's eyes to the dragon's; it'll make it feel more alive!
You're going amazing and I can't wait to see the finished product!
