Welcome to the Pigato Ongoing Artist Search!
This little thread is pretty self-explanatory, however just in case you don't know this is where I'll be holding a search for some new artists for the Pigato species.
There is no end date or deadline, nor is there currently a maximum number of artists who I am looking to hire, so this will stay open indefinitely with new artists being hired as and when I see fit.
If you would like to apply as an artist for Pigatos then you must read and follow the following design rules and guidelines;
- If you're unfamiliar with Pigatos and their rules then please take a look at the main thread - there's a link above!
- The main body of a Pigato is always a natural shade (black, brown, blue, cream, red, etc). The mane is also commonly a natural colour, but can really be any. Pigatos can have any eye colour.
- Pigato come only in 'natural' markings and patterns - that is to say, if the markings can be found on any species of swine or feline, then it can be found on Pigatos (i.e. spots, stripes, brindling, calico, pinto, etc). Combinations of multiple markings are also possible. For some ideas on pig markings if you're stuck, take a look at these doodles: Pigato markings
- Line edits are encouraged if you feel confident in creating them. Please try to make them as clean and neat as possible.
- You may create a new set of lines either in the Oekaki or in a separate digital art program if you prefer. You do NOT have to use the Oekaki in order to be an artist.
- All entries are unofficial and therefore cannot be kept in normal circumstances. You may, however, transfer the design to a different species if you wish.
- You must create all your entries under a title cover, even if you only create 1 or 2 designs. To do that, simply click the COLOURMEIN button, write your username and save & post. From there you can create your own entries. This is just to help keep things more tidy and organised by having all of your entries in one place. It should be noted however that the more entries you create, the more likely I am to consider hiring you ^^
- Please don't apply if you don't have any intentions on being somewhat active: artists are expected to post a new design at least once a fortnight. If you can't be online for a while, can't post new designs often enough or simply don't have time to be on everyday, please let me know and/or be sure to post that info when you post your cover. It won't affect your chances of being hired.
- Do not complain if you are not chosen to be an artist. Not everyone will be accepted.
If you have any problems or if there is something you don't understand then please don't hesitate to PM me or post - I'm here to help!
These rules/guidelines may be changed or updated anytime without notice.
