w hoa man it's hard to make a species that no one else has though of,,
heck well here are these guys- they're an alien species similar in size to your average house cat! They have a pouch on their neck that they can extend to store food/whatever else they'd like.

They love attention and would totally curl up on your lap like a cat- they pant like a dog when physically exhausted.

I want to call them like lizard cats or something stupid- they live in a big old universe where they're dosmesticsted and sold in big ol' space stations... is this original enough?? am I doing this right??
Oh and their feetses are fully mobile and their tail is prehensile.

might add gooey horns or something- their pawpads/horns/teeth/skeletons are slightly transparent and are the same color as their innards. (so this guys horns/skeleton/whatever would be blue)

Very interesting species idea, - i love their body anatomy and face-shape.
if a co-owner for them ever opens up - i'd be interested.
