There wasn't a Fancy dress, or a costume for Deerla, and there was no way that her older dog sisters will give her something to wear. They didn't want her to go to the ball! She made the best out of it though, and wore the sapphire web of her friend, the sapphire spider, to the ball while riding in a family chariot that she Cleverly turned into a sled.
