Chessica was always bullied by the other chess pieces for being a pawn, as they felt pawns were "newbs" and thus dumb. Chessica was the only pawn left, as the other pieces managed to destroy the others, somehow. One day, when the owner of the chess game took it to the Pound as something to do while waiting for it to open, by accident, they dropped Chessica. She was actually loved by most of the pets in the Pound, and due to a spell that had been cast upon her when she was made, she transformed into a real dog. Little did she know, a few months later, she would finally be put into a loving home.
