A Katsami is a small, fluffy, otter like creature. Though evolved from otters, they do not live near large bodies of water. Their strong, long, tails can be wrapped around tree branches so they can hang upside down, they can also use them to steer in rivers or lakes. They use their sharp claws and extremely agile bodies to climb trees where they are safe from predators. Katsami have small rodent paws making climbing and grabbing leaves or food easy. Their horns are used as a form of defense against their predators. An adult Katsami is about the size of a domestic cat, while younger ones are about the size of your palm. These creatures live in the fantasy version of a rain forest. They prey on assorted berries and occasionally bugs and smaller fish.

Rules of Adoption

* You cannot sell your Katsumi but you can trade them with permission from the designer (you have to have had your Katsami for 1 month)
* You cannot make your own Katsami, these are a closed species
* You cannot revamp/redesign your Katsami without permission from the designer, you also have to get the design approved by either Dino or Sock
* You may only own 5 Katsami at this point, this number will rise each time we reach 100 adopts
*More rules may be added in the future

Staff Rules
> You may have 7 katsami at this time (5 adopts, 2 customs)
> You must get your custom approved by either MD or myself
> You may only make a custom when you (artists) have made 5 adopts/(mods) are actively helping out the thread/(Archivest) updating the archive frequently enough
Artist Rules
> There is no monthly limit to adopts, but try to make them when you have time
> do not pick favorites when choosing a winner
> if you fail to judge your contest whithin 72 hours of closure, a mod will chose for you
Mod Rules
> You can be asked/ask to help artists judge their competitions, if their comp is short don't ask
> Your job as a moderator is to help people, this includes adopters and staff, we expect you to do so
> You may suggest events, as moderators you will help out with those threads as well (;

Applications
Certain questions require certain things, if you're confused on what to write where you can read this small Guide:
Username, this is just where you put your username or names you want to be called.
Activity on CS, you will write down how often you go on chickensmoothie, exact numbers are not necessary just "I'm on everyday!" Or something like that will do just fine.
Experience, here all you have to do is link to current/previous adoptables you've worked for. This area is not required to fill out but it does help.
(Mods) Why should we pick you? This will help us see your writing style, a short explanation concerning why we should pick you should be added here.
Do you have skype? For this simply put yes or no, if you are chosen you will be pm'd and then added to our Katsami staff group. The group is used as an easier way to discuss the adopts, events and other adoptable related things will be discussed there.
