In German class, we learned about the holiday traditions in Germany. In their culture, Saint Nickolas has an evil companion called a krampus that travels with him, punishing the children if they are bad. Every year, people make intricately detailed krampus costumes and have a "krampus parade" called krampuslauf.
That's the short version, obviously. You can look up more info if you want, it's actually pretty interesting stuff. Anyway, I wanted to make my own version of krampus, so here you have it!
