Race through the woods.

So the story is, her plane crashed in a forest, and one night a strange creature came to her, asking for food. She said no, again and again, but it didn't go away. The more she said no, the more it asked. She ran from it, and it followed her. It ended chasing her out of the woods, and as she looked back, she saw the creature leaving sadly. So she found the last of her food, and left it at the edge of the woods. It vanished the next morning when she checked.
Everyday after that, she would visit the edge of the forest, and left food. The creature soon over came its fear of out of the woods, and went with her to her house. They remained friends, but never forgot their meeting.
