Alpaca-Dogs

Postby Koiley » Tue Sep 02, 2014 6:29 am

I figured I could make some free designs here in my spare time. :>

Info sheet

Biology -
Their body structure consists of that of a canine and an alpaca/ungulate. They were engineered for the purpose of being unique herd animals as well as companions and, if necessary, creatures of protection. Their fur is commonly used to make yarn, fabrics, and other things.
They typically get around 5 feet tall at the tops of their heads. Some are larger and some are smaller, though that is more uncommon.
If trained, Alpaca-Dogs are able to be ridden. Though they're not the largest creatures, they have muscular/thick legs capable of pulling a substantial amount of weight as well as carrying a human.

Body structure -
Their front half is usually very fluffy. The front legs are strong and thick, able to support substantial weight. Thick fur also covers this area, layering all the way down to their feet. Their front paws are canine and slightly elongated, with fleshy paw pads on the underside and considerable claws.
Their end half is more alpaca than anything, having hoof-toed feet. The hind legs are of an ungulate. They are strong as well and capable of dealing a painful kick.

Fur -
As before-mentioned, their fur is sought after for material uses. It can be any color, naturally, on the Alpaca-Dog. Sometimes it is shaved, dyed, or braided by humans.
Naturally, it is clumped and layered on the Alpaca-Dog. It's common that each layer of fur is a different color.
Their faces have short fur, it typically never grows long there. Their eyebrows and their cheeks usually have a bright color or pattern upon them.
Additional fluff in any place other than on the sheet above is rare.
Fur can also be straight/curly/wavy, similar to human hair.

Ears/eyes/tails/and horns are dealt with simply on the sheet. If you cannot read my handwriting, just ask!! I'll help you out. I'm used to writing in cursive and I know some people have problems reading that (aka my friends at school) so I tried my best with print. <3 I know it's horrid but it's more readable than my cursive for some people.

Their mutations are really limitless and anything not mentioned on the sheet is exceedingly rare!! Usually I'll note the mutation so people are aware.
