Why don't you try using the 'smoothing' tool? It makes your lines look smooth and more neat. I use it all the time! I normally have it up to 60% on smoothing.
Also, if you don't have a tablet (like me) sometimes it's easier to zoom in using the mouse scroller. You'll have much more control when your drawing
