well, I am on a bit of a thylacine obsession today lol
wish they weren't extinct

here's a few facts about them;
Thylacines are marsupials
Thylacines have backwards facing pouches
Thylacines can jump like a kangaroo
Their closest relative is the Tasmanian Devil
Thylacines were the largest carnivorous marsupial in their day
Like the Tasmanian Devil, the Thylacine also lived on the Mainland Australia before the introduction of dingoes
Thylacines could open their jaw to almost 180 degrees wide!

I love this species, I too wish the Tasmanian tiger was not exctinct.
I also want to see a passenger pigeon.
I think undid a great job with this!

The passenger pidgeon is a great example of extinction, there used to be millions apon millions of them. They were actually the most abundant bird species in the world!
