Well, I'd never made any posts about it previously…but, my dog who was 11 years old died a few months ago. :< She was a Schnoodle, schnauzer poodle mix. My childhood friend, practically a sibling. She was a fantastically smart dog and an amazing companion. We miss her lots.

I thought she should be mentioned in this post as she was the predecessor to this little girl here -
Today, my parents purchased a new dog. She'll be my dog. She's a puppy, being weaned from her mother this week. We won't be able to pick her up until later in May but I'm still very excited. She's a Saint Berdoodle, Saint Bernard/Poodle mix.

I have a few names in mind, I'm gonna keep track of my ideas here.
Clementine: Suggested by a friend at school. I thought it was really cute since she's kind of reddish/orange. Also the name of a Walking Dead game character. My grandpa had the nickname Clem which I thought could be a nickname for Clementine too.
Selene: The Greek goddess of the moon as well as an Imagine Dragons song I like.
Laura Palmer: A Bastille song. I thought it'd be cute to name her something that meant a lot to me, i.e. songs/etc.
Lucy/Lucille: Suggested by one of my friends mom, I thought it was cute.
Imogen: The breeder named her Image which I do want to change but I thought this was cute and close to her original name.
Kiyomi: I was inspired by Clementine to look up other citrus names and this is a type of Japanese orange I believe.
Winnie Cooper: My mom found this name on a site and we both really liked it
Finnley and Teagan: Names my mom liked
Kinley
Keagan

I think that's it. But anyway, I'd love to hear suggestions if anyone has ideas.

i'm very sorry about your loss, i remember when my dog died, i bawled my eyes out.

We just got our first dog ever a year ago, it's crazy to think his birthday was just a bit ago and a couple days ago was the day we first got him last year. He's an Australian shepherd poodle mix ouo
