snowball

Postby thunderswift » Wed Dec 25, 2013 4:47 am

i figured i should use my quirky new style to draw snowball, my friend's beloved cockateil. i know his tail isnt orange, but hey. why not add a little flair? its always great to capture his fluffy Majesty in a cool way.

And btw, for future refs (you DO NOT have to change it on this drawing) he is a very very off-white yellow (like you can barely see it) and white on his wings :> the head colors are great, but you left white under his "cheeks" so if you ever draw him again please make his entire head yellow :> Anyway the shape of his body is GREAT GREAT AMAZING GREAT and its only your first time drawing Snowball on oekaki! I love the fluffiness you added because he is not one of those cockatiels with slick feathers he is just, well, fluffy (I think its cause he preens a LOT and he is fluffed up because he is sick, he's going to a vet soon no worries)! If you do comissions, can you please draw him wishing him a good vet visit? Thanks so much!

dont worry, im sure snowballs body will get back on track. what makes birds feel better? is he warm? is he stressed? do you rhink he is too hot? does he and your other bird ( i forgot what you renamed him) need to be separated? these are just little concerns that ive had .

and thank you for the complement. i really appreciate it.
