What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

I was walking around the busy streets of Beantopia when I heard a little noise coming from some boxes in an alley. Arya went to go investigate and found this little guy curled up in a box all alone! There was a little note attached to him:
Please take care of my baby boy.
I don't have the money to care for him.
Some other beans will be better parents than me.
    xoxo

So this bean is actually looking for two PARENTS! Once he has two parents his parents can decide what to do with him. c:

Ideally this bean is for any couple who wishes to adopt but cannot produce offspring [ie. YFS, etc.] or for a same sex couple. If your beans really want a baby too though they're welcome to apply. Only one owner of the parent needs to apply, but both parents must be okay with it. The parents should be mates, but only need to have been mates for one month to adopt. Other nursery rules [ie. one month cool down] do not apply.

Why they would make good parents: max. 150 words

Once the baby is adopted I'll speak with the parents as to what they would like to do with the baby [adopt, gift, keep].

Deadline for applications is May 1st.
This bean doesn't count towards your breeding limit [6] nor does it affect any breedings in progress.

Aztec wrote:Another little boy in the family would be perfect! As Tootsie said, Monty does feel lonely at the moment and often asks me what having a brother feels like. Another boy, closer to his age, will give Monty someone he can turn to and talk to as they get older.

Tootsie and Aztec adore babies . They love the fact that their children bring beans to non owners in the community too. If they adopt this bean, he would go to a non owner and make Aztec and Tootsie the happiest and proudest couple in the world.

Shouldn't this be on the original adopts though, Komi? :/

Mom: Shasta (YFS C).
Dad: Bronwyn's bean Tiggery.
Why they would make good parents: Tiggery would be a great father-figure for the bean. He's not strict, nor judgemental of others, and careful of his actions and words. Tiggery is a kid inside, meaning he could relate to the bean well. Shasta has experience with beans, she takes care of Akari, has babysitted for a other couples & grew up helping her sister. She is very light-hearted yet fair. The bean would be in a supportive, nurturing environment with them. Both Shasta and Tiggery have been wishing for a bean of their own, but cannot breed (Shasta's YFS) and this is their chance to have the family they've dreamed of while giving a home to a bean to needs it. They are both very loving dragons who could raise a bean to make a positive influence in the world. Even if the bean is not theirs, they'd love him as unconditionally as if he was.

Generally, yes, but a few members had wondered if their beans could adopt babies. I figured the nursery would be an interesting place for an orphaned bean to be adopted by parents which might not be able to breed. c:

Why they would make good parents: max. 150 words
Well, to start off, Cider loves little beans. He may be a grump and all, but he has a big heart. If you've seen around the JBD chat, he's always helping out the little ones and playing with them. He does hold patients for parenthood, as well as the knowledge. Duce is very motherly. She is kind and gentle with a protectiveness for those who need it or those she loves and holds dearest. She can be shy at times, but when need be, she'll speak up and stand up for those close to her. If you've seen her around the chat, she's not really up for chat with the older beans or those around her age, but she she does like talking with the little beans. She is likes to help them and play with them, keeping them occupied while their parents are busy or out.
