What are Lionfish?
Evolution from fish to lions is a slow process.
So slow, in fact, that it isn't complete yet.
Lionfish are a mix of lionfish and lions (so they
should really be called Lionlionfish but that just
didn't happen). They live in prides based on blood
color (see chart here - note there are words above colors).
There are many of these prides, and each have
different specific rules on this, but those are
the most common blood color traits (and the
ones that affect rarities and breeding). A
common practice is for, once a cub is of age,
the leader or caretakers of a pride to cut
their pawpad to see their blood color (if the
cub has bled before it is still done). Usually,
the age is around a month old, but this changes
between prides.
