I came up with a series of howls, barks and yips for the Scouts to use to alert the pack members, let me know what you guys think:

Meanings of yips and barks:

Yips mean direction if they follow the howls
1 yip: North
2 yips: South
3 Yips: East
4 yips: West

Barks or yips before the howls refer to number

1-3 barks mean 1-few warriors
1-3 yips means 1-few enemies

4 yips means more than 4 enemies in boundaries
4 barks means more than 4 warriors returning

Howls:
Can mean a different set of things, depending on number and volume

1 long high pitched howl: means pups are in danger
2 Short high pitched howls: Enemy is approaching
3 Long low pitched howls: Strange scent on the wind
2 long low pitched howl: Enemy’s scent is on the wind
2 long high pitched howls: means warriors are returning home
1 short high pitched howl: wounded are returning home

Love it! But one something:

There is two 4 yips.

Thats because both mean something different, the direction yips would be after the howls, while the number yips will be before the howls

Im still working on the details, i just came up with these last night
