Hi all,

Now that the semester is mostly over for me, I can be a little more active on RVEC and would like to start us off with another event ^^ I think what I'll do here is start off with a common breed auction (expect TWHs, MFTs, POAs, Arabians, Connemaras, Welshes, etc.) and let those guys find their owners, and then from there we'll move back into the Around the World event, then to our hot-blooded event to celebrate summer, and then finally the Mustang Million once most people are out of school and everything to help with any workload that might entail <3 If you guys have any suggestions for events or any questions you'd like answered, please let me know and I'll be happy to answer them! c:

All right guys! To help me get back in the swing of things, I'm going to try to set up a fairly regular schedule of adoptions, breedings, and show results that will be posted on a predictable schedule so everybody kind of knows what to expect ^^ So here's my plan as of right now:

Monday: Regular/Around the World adoption
Tuesday: Rare breed adoption
Wednesday: Breedings posted
Thursday: Regular/Around the World adoption
Friday: Imports/breedings posted
Saturday: Show results posted
Sunday: Color adoption

If you have any other suggestions to this, please let me know! Rescues, breedings, and some other adoptions will likely not stick to this schedule, but I'll do my best to keep it all mostly consistent ^^

That looks great! I have exams now until end of June and am away on a charity trip for three weeks at the beginning of July. Is there a way to freeze my horses, or will they just not age? Or maybe I should lease them out cheaply while I'm gone? Sorry to be such a hassle!

No worries! If you don't train them, they won't age, so you should be good ^^

Hi all,

I've noticed we've been struggling a bit to sell horses and I want to make sure everyone's got a fair shot. Would it fare better for us to bring back the on-sim advertising as opposed to our advertising thread? Sale horses would be located on the store post like on the old thread for ease of access; the only problem is that it gets kind of difficult to organize and update it that way ^^' What do you guys think? Should we bring that back so horses can get sold more frequently? Would that even help?

Sounds like a lot of hassle to keep up to date? But it would be very helpful to see.

Maybe like the bank there could be a thread where everyone posts once and then they can advertise their horses on that?

Or maybe there could be a form to fill out as an advertisement (with all the normal selling point like age, breed, etc) that you could then post on the fanclub page or discussion page. It should have a specific title on the form such as For Sale and that way you can use the search bar to find any on sale horses. Then people could edit and remove the sale post to keep it up to date. That way you could easily see which horses are for sale at that exact time?

Just some ideas! I would love to see more buying and selling to really tie the community together!
