Cyrus and kyum- stop for a lunch break and watch a large bird soar past - there sure are a lot of different animals out here! Cyrus runs ahead, chasing after the bird's shadow on the ground. You've progressed 372 feet up the mountain!

Hecate and strawberrymwilk stop to take a look at a patch of lovely wildflowers. As you watch a hummingbird flies up and starts drinking nectar from the yellow flowers. You've progressed 589 feet up the mountain!

Lincoln and Gasparluna844 are hiking when they come up on a large mud puddle in the middle of the trail. You try to avoid it by walking around the edge, but Lincoln happily wades into the deepest part of it, gives you direct eye contact, and then starts to roll around in the mud. Hopefully there's a stream up ahead… You've progressed 524 feet up the mountain!

Frog and Frisco set a hard pace but have to stop short when they reach a scree field. You carefully follow the trail across a marked and (supposedly) safe section without issue. You've progressed 324 feet up the mountain! You also gain 30 feet from community participation, 25 feet from Frog's personality development, and 15 feet from her likes and dislikes (the poor mailman)!

Lavra and Vinson started off a little slower than usual due to the number of other hikers on the trail causing a bit of a back-up at one of the challenging rock scrambles, but after an hour you're able to get past the traffic jam. You've progressed 515 feet up the mountain! You also gain 42 feet from community participation!

Canary and wildsight got distracted by a stream and followed it up the mountainside to a small waterfall and pool, how nice! The water is clear and cool, and Canary hops in for a quick swim. You've progressed 366 feet up the mountain! You also gain 48 feet from community participation!

Riptide and taikunfoo got off on the right foot (or paw) and set a good hiking pace! You've found a nice spot with a view of the valley so you decide to take a lunch break. You've progressed 504 feet up the mountain! You also gain 37 feet from community participation!

Fern and beebun stumble across a blueberry patch in a clearing! You fill your pockets while Fern chases a few berries down the hill. You've progressed 256 feet up the mountain!

Delgado and Julius525 are enjoying a surprisingly easy hike until they come up to a slick stretch of rock. Delgado has no issues climbing the smooth stone and turns to wait for you as you struggle to reach the top of the slippery rock. You've progressed 374 feet up the mountain! You also gain 29 feet from community participation!

Crumble and Delta Dawn enjoyed a nice, ambling walk up the mountainside and Crumble put her nose to good work finding a discarded snack wrapper. You've progressed 636 feet up the mountain! You also gain 48 feet from community participation!
