This roleplay takes place on Hatteras Island, North Carolina, a barrier island on the east coast of the United States.

There are many feral cats on the island. Most of them rely on kittypet food from the locals, but not this clan. These cats are resourceful, and determined to make it without the twolegs' free handouts.
There are lots of people who just leave kittypet food out to attract the loners and rogues.
There are two-leg dens not too far from camp, a few are home to outdoor kittypets, which wander as they please.

Their camp is located in the Buxton Woods, not too far from the beach, and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. SeaClan's camp is also very near a freshwater pond, and several salty streams as well.

Twolegs occasionally hike near camp, and sometimes they ride horses, but that's not too frequent. Often, the territory is pretty quiet. The only wild predators to worry about are foxes, the venomous snakes, or the starving birds of prey who sometimes make kits a meal.

Other hazards in the area are the thunderpath, loose dogs, twoleg traps, young twolegs, rogue cats, storms, and flooding.

During the summer and fall, Hatteras Island gets slammed with tropical storms and hurricanes. They often cause major flooding, and damage the trees around camp.
The winter is bitterly cold, because of the harsh wind. A 40°F day can feel in the 20s with windchill. The surf is very rough when the wind is up, and the winter/spring storms called nor'easters are just as bad as hurricanes, bringing flooding.

Prey sources include squirrels, mice, voles, birds, lizards, fish, and if you're hungry enough, sand crabs.

The nearest clan is MarshClan, who SeaClan has helped in the past with floods and things.
Although they are still far, and have very little contact.

2) No power playing or playing God. You are not the strongest, most powerful character. You don't win every fight. You don't know everything. A prophecy or gift from StarClan every now and then is reasonable, but I will put a stop if it gets out of control.

Appearance in Writing:
Sableclaw is a short haired gray she-cat with the smallest white spot on her chest. In the sunlight, her fur shines a rusty color. She is somewhat tall, with broad shoulders, and often walks with her head low. She is light-footed, and gentle, but her face shows seriousness. Her eyes are a beautiful yellow green color.
Scars:
Having fought in many battles, Sableclaw has several scars, including on her face, ears, and on her legs.

Personality
Maybe a little uptight, Sableclaw doesn't like change, and isn't a fan of anything new. She pretty much keeps to herself, but isn't afraid to say what she needs to. She is annoyed easy, and doesn't like when things don't go as normal. Sableclaw doesn't often get attached, but is very loyal and affectionate when she does.
Sableclaw does not ever want to see the day that she has to take over as leader. She is content dying as a deputy, because that means Saltstar outlived her, and to her, that's worth it.

Appearance in writing: Kestrelpaw is a very pretty young she-cat. She has soft, medium length gray-brown fur in a broken mackerel tabby pattern. Her under color is a sandy cream, while her stripes are dark, extending all the way to her paws, chest, and belly. She has no white on her. She has a lean body, and a long tail, with delicate-looking small feet. Her face is soft, and kind, with lighter facial markings. Kestrelpaw's eyes change between a hazel, and a golden color.

Personality: Kestrelpaw is sweet in nature, but she has a lot of spice. Sometimes she has a sharp tongue or says the unwanted truth. She hates to be scolded, and takes things personally. Often, she will refuse to be around someone after they correct her, as she doesn't handle criticism well, but it doesn't take her too long to come around again. She is possessive over everything that is hers, as she is afraid of losing things. But she loves to learn on her terms, and has a good aim when she plays.

History: As a very young kit, Kestrelpaw was found abandoned on the thunderpath. She was pretty sick, but was quickly nursed back to health by a SeaClan queen, and has been accepted as a full member. She knows her history, and is sensitive to it. She very recently became an apprentice.
Other: Dedicated to my real-life kitten, Mia, who I adopted from the local SPCA.

Appearance in writing: Lionkit is a light orange tabby kitten. Her fur is downy soft, with a creamy under color, and soft orange mackerel stripes. Her face is slightly rounder than average, and her eyes have a slight droop at certain angles. Lionkit's nose is bright pink. Her eye color is a golden amber.
Her body is built a little hefty, with shorter legs, and dense shoulder muscles, compared to the leaner kittens. She looks a lot like a lion cub.
Scars: None yet

Personality: Curious, but shy, brave, but easily frightened, Lionkit is your normal kitten, aside from a few quirks. She appears clumsy at times during play, often tripping on her feet or under/over-judging distances. Sudden movements startle her, and she doesn't like being picked up; squirming, instead of relaxing. She loves to play, but takes a minute to warm up to new toys or playmates. Her favorite place to be is curled up beside her Daddy, where it's warm.

Appearance in writing: Batfang was beautiful in his prime, with a shiny black coat, but with age, has grown more dull. He has one long canine tooth that is always visible, giving him the suffix 'fang'. His eyes are golden, still full of life, despite his age.
Scars: Several small ones, and a bad one on the back of his neck.

Personality: A mean old cat, he has very little patience. He gets confused a lot, and gets mad at his own tail. Batfang likes to be alone, except for the company of a few select cats.
When he was younger, he would hide behind things, and jump out and attack or scare his clanmates, because it was funny. He can't stand being touched when he wants to be left alone.
He likes to drink from the gently running part of the stream, and likes to hear the sound of running water. The cats that he does like mean a lot to him. He loves their company, and will actually purr when they are close.
Batfang enjoys to bat at things and play like he's still a kitten, finding amusement in little things. When another cat sees him though, he stops like he wasn't playing. XD

History: Batfang was born to a loner, and she gave him to the clan to become a warrior. He had his fair share of trouble, broke a few rules, was a trickster, and he had a lot to prove. But he was and is still loyal, and true to his clan. They are his family. He was a good warrior, and now his clan is returning the favor, by taking the best care they have of him.

Other: In loving memory of my old boy, Fatcat(AKA Dingbat), who just passed away at almost 12 years old. He actually was a stray kitten that came from Hatteras Island. He will be missed<3

She is lithe, but of average height. She is slightly underfed, but her fur is well groomed.
You often see Flicker with her ears tipped back, and her tail twitching in nervousness or irritation.
Her eyes are a pretty emerald green, with various shades in them.
Her face is fairly soft, with a dark nose, and pointy ears.

She has a long, but faint scar across her shoulders, and a small, fairly deep puncture scar on her chest, with a couple tiny scars here and there.

Personality
Flicker tells herself that she likes to be alone, but in her sleep she dreams of one day having a family.
A facade covers her whole personality, and she feels as though the loving side of her is dead, along with her family.
She doesn't often speak to other cats, but when she does, Flicker shows nothing but attitude to cover the insecurities and fear she has. Flicker has never had a friend since she has been on her own.
Flicker is deep, and complicated in her thinking, evaluating everything around her. She analyzes behavior, and adjusts herself to situations.
She can be quite deceitful and cunning, as a way to get around in a harsh world full of cats that are larger and stronger than her.
She wouldn't show it to any one, but she is quite sensitive to what the other cats say.
She has panic attacks when certain things trigger memories.

History:
Flicker remembers fear from her kithood, especially after she was separated from her parents by a fox when she was 3 moons.
Flicker grew up near twolegs with the other stray cats. She has never had a home, and she's never really had anyone be nice to her before.
There once was a time that she wandered into SeaClan territory, and they fought with her and chased her out. She decided never to go back.
Flicker wanders, doing her best to avoid contact until she has to, like when she can't find prey. Then she eats from the twolegs, where most of the strays are.

Other: Flicker has PTSD from her family's fox attack.

Personality- Cinder is normally a calm cat and will be in tense situations. She uses this calmness to try and unnerve her opponents. She may also try and manipulate others who seem naive and of use to her. Cinder is a difficult cat to find trust in due to her manipulative behavior. She also finds it hard to trust others, hence the reason why she feels the need to manipulate. Only sometimes will she lose her cool and start to act aggressively, but aggression is normally her last resort if everything else fails.

History-
Cinder has barely any memories of her early life, the only relatively clear memory is that she was separated from her family by a fox. From then on, her life has been the same routine for many moons; travelling, hunting, fighting cats and then being chased away.
