An abandoned city is filled with..well, nothing. Nothing except buildings, cars, houses, suddenly left behind. And the dogs. Hundreds of dogs, formed into three packs. The Steel Pack, the Oil Pack, and the Tree Pack. The Steel Pack found their home inside the broken down buildings and apartments, hiding within the steel-reinforced towers. The cold metal surrounding them reflects their personality: harsh, aggressive, proud. They are unwilling to take in loners, and it is forbidden to talk to outsiders. The Oil Pack lives among the abandoned cars, sleeping on their seats and depending on their roofs for shelter. The vehicles around them are like the dogs themselves: tough, withstanding, handy, always on the move. The Tree Pack roam the overgrown part of the city, hiding within the thick patches of vines and bushes. They are kind and welcoming, and are often ridiculed and preyed on by the other packs, though they're really just jealous that the Forest Pack have the best hunting grounds.

```both the alpha female and the alpha male (mates) have the same job: to rule and protect their pack. they make all the decisions, deciding which one is the best for the well-being of the pack. they enforce rules, though that's mainly the beta's job, and dole out the punishments for those that don't follow them. they host the ceremonies of turning from a pup to an apprentice, and from an apprentice to a fully-fledged pack member.

```much like the alphas, the betas are a mated pair, with similar jobs. they mainly enforce the rules, and report major rule infractions to the alphas. they dictate every day's schedule, such as: organizing hunting and scouting patrols, deciding which pair of mentor and apprentice will go hunting or fighting training that day, and choosing which part of the territory to hunt on. the betas make sure everything runs smoothly, until both alphas have fallen and then they will rise to leadership.

```the deltas, also a mated pair, are a sort of last resort for the alphas and betas. they have the same duties as other pack members, just a slightly higher name. the deltas move up to the position of beta once the former betas take charge as the new alphas.

```healers are among the most important dogs in the pack. at first there is only one healer, until they find a pup that has the right skills and temperament to be a healer apprentice. the healers take care of any sort of injury in the pack, using herbs to cure illnesses and injuries.

```the hunters are regular pack members, but they have an important job: gathering food to feed the whole pack. the lead hunter leads every hunting patrol that is set out. while hunters mainly catch food, they are also trained to fight in case of an emergency.

```fighters are also regular pack members, but are trained mostly in fighting and combat skills. they are the protectors of the pack, defending against any sort of danger that may arise. but, there aren't dangers everyday, and they are also mildly trained to hunt, and usually help out with the regular duties of the camp.

```guards are regular members of the pack, and guard the entrance to the camp day and night. there is always at least two of them standing guard in front of the entrance to the camp. night guards sleep and eat during the day, and stay up all night to protect the vulnerable, sleeping camp. the day guards stay up all day to protect the camp, and do most of their sleeping and eating at night.

```queens are often called unimportant, or ridiculed for "not doing anything to help the pack", when in reality they are the most vital members. they rise the very life source of the pack, helping the pups to grow into strong warriors that will benefit the pack for years to come.

The Tree Pack eventually found her and took her in, even with her pitiful condition. She didn't have a name, hadn't eaten or drank anything in weeks, and was covered in scratches and bruises. The pack fixed her up, and named her Thirteen for the unlucky condition they found her in.

Lucious was born as a purebred European Doberman,
and surprisingly larger than his kin. As he grew old enough to be
weaned he was sold to a fight house owner. Growing up in the ring
Lucious learned that, the only way to survive is to fight and kill
no matter whom they may be hence why the brute is so ruthless
and aggressive. He managed to gradually strip titles from the current dogs
and replace himself within their spot.. until he was one of the top favorable
fighters. He's a powerful and intelligent brute, who has won several fights
yet lost others. As an unfortunate night played out, dogs dying from
severe wounds, puppies thrown in for bait, Dogs relentlessly fighting
for their future meal... a light came. In the light, was the shape
of a police officer.. not just one, but several. They arrived
to liquidate the illegal fight house, that seemed to be in business
for years. As the officers poured in, the betters escaped, screaming
in shock. The ring master, Lucious' owner struggled to find his prized
Doberman, in which he successfully did. The man vigorously grasped the
lock and unhooked the cage, forcing the brute to escape. He then removed
his skull necklace and hastily clipped it around the brutes neck so that
it dangled only just a few inches from his spiked collar. Kissing the brute
upon his onyx muzzle, he would whisper a few words under his breath and
lead Lucious towards the back door of the kennels, watching his prized
possession escape into the mists of the forest. Lucious ran with all his
might as he escaped further and further from the hell hole behind him..
and.. with that.. he continued with his life.
