Backstory: There I was, in a large wooden area with wood shavings on the ground and a heat lamp above me. I had other siblings, and a mother. Obviously I had a father.. But where was he? I kept wondering that, and when my eyes finally opened I saw.. Nothing.. No siblings-oh I mean one sibling, or cat, I don’t even know if it’s a cat, because it definitely looked and smelt weird.. I didn’t recognize them, and they didn’t recognize me. We ignored eachother, until I finally spoke up; “Hello? Who are you and where are we?” “Crate. Were in a crate. I’m Heron, or at least that’s what my humans and other pups call me. “Wait.. Pups? Are you a dog?!” “Indeed I am” I am freaked out about that, but also confused about what ‘humans’ are. “Hey.. Heron, what are humans?” He explains a twoleg to me. “It’s a twoleg, not a human! Silly!” I’m interrupted as the crate suddenly opens. Heron and I are both welcomed into a warm twoleg house and for the next couple weeks we stay there until we get curious. “Hey, Heron, how about we go explore! Come on! It will be fun!” I bribed him to go outside to the forests.. I smell other cats.. many of them. “Curiousity killed the cat!” Heron says, worried. I dint listen. Of course I don’t. I regret it.. The two legs were near that forest and saw Heron escape, and tried to catch me but only caught him. So there I was, lost in a forest. For about 4 moons, actually. I’m only 8 moons old. But then I find a clan, and I think to myself ‘finally! Cats.. food!’ I’m dehydrated and exhausted, but an unnamed cat from Starclan pushes me just far enough to try and join the clan. I recognize that cat, it looks like my mom.. but she couldn’t be dead, could she?
