----According to an old legend, when pokemon and human are no longer in harmony the end of the world will
ome, and place known as Paradise will appear. However, only pokemon will know how to find it. To keep the world from
ending, Team Plasma will are liberating pokemon to keep the balance. However, they have tipped the scale instead. The
pokemon that have been 'liberated' have sensed this disharmony, and, to continue surviving by casting illusions over
themselves to make them appear human. Each of these pokemon have taken the challenge of finding Paradise before
the world's end. This is their story....

ℵBecause this is a small RP, we will not be taking reserved slots.

ℵThis is a High lit RP, so that means 8-10 paragraphs,
even with writers block,should be able to post 3-4 paragraphs.
Replies must use good spelling, punctuation, grammar and
paragraphing when appropriate. As there are only six slots,
you may only have one character. Gender even please.

ℵForms do not need to be especially detailed, or even pretty -
they just need to be neat, structured, and include the basics.
You must, however, use anime/animated film characters as images.

ℵPlease PM me before you post your character and writing
example so I know it meets up to par. Also, your pokemon character
will be randomize by Jenjo, my mod. If you have a problem with the
pokemon the machine picks out, don't complain. The point of this RP
is to try pokemon we never do before.

Ghetsis told the young king, looming over the smaller boy like a giant. But then, when your six years old, all adults look like giant. The younger moss hair boy bite his lower lip, trying to wrap his developing mind with all that his 'father' had told him.Tiny fist clench the fabric of his pants as he nodded, tears beginning to form from he edges of his eyes. Ghetsis narrowed his eyes at the shaking boy before him.

"Then tell me N, why do we need to liberate Pokemon?" N gulped, his voice wavering as he took a breath to calm himself before speaking.

"We have to lib-er-ate pokemon cause, cause.."

"Because, what? Speak up boy." The older man snapped, his patience growing thin with the boy's hesitation. N flinched back at the taller man's harsh tone, his chest heaving in his panic thoughts. Taking another gulp, N continued his voice in a breathless whisper.

"T-to save them, and a-and..."

"And what?"

"To stop the world from ending..."

Black City ⇔ A modern city of ongoing development that draws people to it. Black City is a sprawling metropolis with many large buildings and skyscrapers. At low level occupancy, there are fewer buildings, which are smaller in size. Many pokemon that have been 'liberated' by Team Plasma or their formal trainers have gathered to this very city.

Clefairy Daycare ⇔ An abandoned day care from that cities earlier days of building before the newer, bigger buildings that sits in the middle of the city. Many pokemon use this forgotten play area and it's jungle gym as their meeting center/temporal home when they arrival to the large city.

White Forest ⇔ A place of nature's bounty, it attracts people who long for nature. Many patches of tall grass and can have water surfaces. At low level occupancy the trees are smaller, there are fewer or no water surfaces, and patches of tall grass are sparse. They say that the starting path to Paradise lies in this very forest. Many pokemon, after forming a pack, start to head to this white woods to start their journey.

Tree of Ages ⇔ A large starlight tree that rest in the center of the White forest. Legends tells that if you make a wish near it on the full moon it will come true. Another story says you can find your future spouse if you pray long enough. But to Pokemon, a story of how the Tree will show the first clue to the path of Paradise.

Tomoe is a care free, light hearted physic pokemon with a perverted streak a mile wide. Despite his lax nature and unimposing image, Tomoe is a season battler, often bantering with his opponent before finishing them off. He was once under the care of a little girl name Clair that keep him as his main pokemon for four years until that fated journey to Unova where the young girl heard Ghetsis's speech of pokemon liberation. He was soon released at the end of that same day. Despite this, Tomoe does not blame his trainer, instead looking back on their time together in found remembrance.

Karus is a man hidden in smoke and mirrors, always hiding his true intent, be it good or bad. Being on to twist his words in a wide of lies, you would think that his pokemon as a Ariados than a Kadabra. However, there is a reason for his heavily guarded facade, and that reason is man. Karus was a pokemon experiment when he was an Abra shortly after his young friend, a girl name Aern Karus, died at the age of nine to an unknown illness. After escaping the labs, the Karus hide in the trees of the White forest, before his sharp picked up the whispers of 'Paradise'. Now he works in a laboratory, though he does not experiment on the Pokémon: instead, he monitors their behavior, and records their intelligence levels. He hopes to bring the Pokémon he is working with to Paradise.

Lavender is a kind soul with the patience of a saint. Always willing to lend an ear or help out, this is the go-to-gal if you feel like talking or complaining just so someone will listen. However, dumping all of one's emotional problems onto Lavender will, more or less, cause depression to settle over her spirit which will, in turn, crush her freedom. Not good. Lavender is not the kind of girl who enjoys taking daring chances without weighing the advantages and disadvantages regarding the situation first. Because of this, people tend to find her boring. Overall, Lavender is a very ambitious person, always pursuing something and wanting her life to be fulfilled and important.

Rude, arrogant, oozing self importance and loving every minute of it is how you would describe Sasha. This dual pokemon is the type to look out after her own skin then try to be anybody's hero. But he has her good traits despite her bad reputation. Hard working and truthfully, even though she is blunt about it. Much like Tomoe, Sasha was released shortly after Ghetsis speech of 'Pokemon Rights' with out so much as a good bye from her formal trainer. This brash pokemon eventual traveled to Black city after several months of travel. Original hired as a Trolley-girl in a supermarket downtown. Seeing an opportunity for higher command, Sasha crawled her way up to the top job of manager, using many underhand tactics and threats along the way.

Ａlthough usually a laid-back, jovial, humble and eccentric man, Tomoe shows a deceptively cunning and
serious side when the situation warrants it. He commonly uses idle conversation and outward concern
to distract his opponents. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes
sarcastic. His dear friend Karus, a fellow psychic pokemon, says he tends to become too passionate
about anything he focuses on, be it work or play. He often describes himself as a "mere honest,
handsome, perverted businessman." This is a far cry from what he use to be when he was just a
young Ralts. When his former trainer, a seven year old girl named Clair, caught him Tomoe was a
nervous, flustered, and quiet pokemon, who often clung on to his trainer's dress like a lost child.

Despite his lack of confidence and shyness, Tomoe under the care and soft hand of Clair, trained
the him into the pokemon he is today. He and Clair never fought any pokemon from the league,
or Champions, they simple trained to get stronger, facing Gym battles and battling against trainers
six times a day. After a year of evolving into a Kirlia, Clair deiced to go visit family in Accumula
Town, Unova.Along the way they would train and battle, getting stronger and stronger as they
gained ground. Clair would talk about how they would fight in the gyms in Unova, about all the
fun things they would do, and possible the new team mates they would have, seeing as he was
her only pokemon for the past three years.

Unfortunately Tomoe didn't realize this would be the last time he would spend quality time with
his trainer before her heard the awful speech by Ghetsis himself in the square that afternoon
shortly after they arrived. Despite his pleading and heart ache, Clair released him, telling him to
'find happiness'
before running off.Tomoe could only watch helplessly as his one and only friend left
him. Shortly after that day, Tomoe began his own travels and training, and soon ended up in Black City.
Using his powers, Tomoe has taken on a human form and posses as a shopkeeper, a handsome one at
that, that runs a small toy shop in the lower part of the city.

Karus Aern (Car-us, Air-in) is a Kadabra posing as a 28-year-old Pokémon Researcher and Scientist. He currently resides in Black City, Unova working with a group of human scientists. His move set is: Hypnosis, Psychic, Foresight, Dream Eater.

Karus is a complex sort of character in that he conceals himself behind a mask. Not a literal mask of course, that would be rather humiliating to cower so (besides, he leaves the dramatics to Tomoe). No, Karus is complex because nobody knows him. He is difficult to interpret for many reasons: he is particularly secretive when it comes to his personal life, but he's also a hardwired liar. Even for the smallest of things, Karus spins a web of lies. He never tells the same story the same way because he changes it completely, always in a way which benefits him in the long run. Everything he does, he does for himself. He is selfish, to the extent that he cares for nobody but himself (or at least, seemingly so). However, he is especially manipulative, so much so that people actually believe that he puts his trust in them. Everything about him is a fabrication of intricate lies. He will play out false love and friendship if it becomes of benefit to him, but he will always cut and run for his own good. Saving his own skin is Karus's way of living - survival is his key instinct, and the driving force of his actions. He's cunning for sure, if nothing else, being able to get his own way without managing to get his hands dirty. Some believe that he studies some sort of dark magic - how else could he know all the thing that he knows? His intelligence is vast and well known, his cleverness acknowledged by all he meets. Even so, while Karus has confidence in his intelligence, he does not brag over it. His sharp tongue and smart comebacks are more than enough to defend him, as well as his 'true' magic powers.

It should be noted, however, that Karus's complexities are not always as they seem. He is a mirror character: usually whatever way somebody reacts to him, he will respond similarly. If you are pleasant, he will mirror that, but he always wears a mocking smile on his lips. It is wise not to place your trust in him, because he will keep your secret until it benefits him for the world to know of your truth. And yet, people trust him anyway: he seems a decent man. People can't see past his mask, which often leads to their demise.

His tale is different every time you ask, but there is always one thing that remains the same: he was always betrayed. Some people believe he was a science project, a test Pokémon for a government group in the Department of Sciences. They chose the smartest Pokémon and raised them in labs, Karus claimed, then they carried out intelligence experiments on them. By that stage, he was a Kadabra of 'near-human' intelligence. Outraged at being compared to humans and betrayed by the scientists, the Kadabra escaped the underground lab and fled to the open of Black City.

That wasn't all a lie, but it might as well have been. Before he was taken to the laboratories, Karus was an Abra living in the wild. He was found in White Forest by a Pokémon Professor and his daughter, a young girl called Aern Karus. The girl, delighted at having found such a Pokémon, begged her father to keep him as a tame creature at home rather than taking him to the laboratories. After some persuasion, Ike Karus allowed his daughter to keep the Abra.

Unfortunately, the girl died at the age of nine, two years after finding the Abra, who she named Bran. She died of a sudden, unknown disease. In his anger, her father took the Abra to the labs to be tested on. Shockingly, the scientists discovered his intelligence and decided to experiment further on him. Of course, Bran yielded, but he received a new name - Experiment ABK-I.

The scientists could not understand why this Abra would not evolve, and they tried everything with no success. His intelligence was off the scale - how could he still only be an Abra? They engaged him in battle against the other experiment Pokémon, and he fought strategically, but still he did not evolve.

The reason was that he resisted. He didn't want to evolve. He thought that if he evolved, Aern wouldn't recognize him when she came back. For such an intelligent creature, he could not comprehend that his only true friend had died years ago.

He was due to be transferred to another lab in some distant city, but he never reached his destination. Boxed away in a cage and under the lock of a truck, thieves came in the night and stole him away. Yet he wasn't terrified: he broke the cage with his psychic abilities, and knocked the midnight thieve unconscious. He evolved that night as he defended himself.

From thence, he lived in the wild again, but isolated himself even from other Pokémon. He was so terribly lonely, left with nothing but his thoughts. He stayed in the White Forest for a while, but he could not ignore the whispers of Paradise. Tempted by the prospect, he pulled a mask on and posed as a human.

He lived in Black City, and took his companions name as his own- he became Karus Aern. He lived in poverty for the longest while, but he soon pulled his way up through the social ladder and became a researcher of Pokémon himself. Now he works in a laboratory, though he does not experiment on the Pokémon: instead, he monitors their behavior, and records their intelligence levels. He hopes to bring the Pokémon he is working with to Paradise.
