Eclipse opened her eyes to the early dawn light, the soft summer breeze slipping into the opening of her den. She stood on her paws and stretched, walking out of the den to survey any activity in camp.

Hawk sat in the middle of the camp, the cool morning breeze ruffling her fur. She was always up early, and she seemed to like it that way. Her eyes scanned the dens, still dark in the insides.

She turned her head, and the sun got in her eyes, so with quick haste she turned away to her leader, who had just gotten up and was surveying the camp. She then looked away to the trees that hid the camp, and silently waited for her packmates to wake up.

(Sorry, a bit short. But I will try to bring in some dialogue as soon as some more people start ;D)

Eclipse pads toward the center of the clearing.

"Good morning, Hawk, I see you're up early as usual"

The breeze faltered and Hawk picked up Eclipse's scent coming closer. She turned just in time to see Eclipse padding over to her. "Good morning, Hawk, I see you're up early as usual." Eclipse said.

"Indeed," Hawk replied, "I also see you're up as well. How are you?" She figured that, while waiting for the rest of her pack to awaken, she may as well go on with a conversation and enjoy herself while she can.

"I'm happy as long as the pack is well fed and safe" It was a surprise that no humans have shown up yet like they do every summer. The forest was peaceful and prey plentiful.
